Maddle Brook Safari Camp

JenniferRating, 5 stars22 months ago
Absolutely amazing! We had a beautiful few days at the safari tent - fantastic location - completely secluded, not another soul in sight. Some amazing walks straight from the tent, and lovely evenings spent sat on the veranda. Tent was super cosy with the log burner, and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

Belle Glamping hot tub whole site sleeps 16+

SatyaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Completely idyllic stay. Jaani was an incredible host, very proactive, helpful and friendly. We had a delicious Sri Lankan meal cooked by her on one night, a birthday cake that was universally loved by 18 people, and she even arranged us a yoga class while we were there. Instructions on wood and bathroom etc were clear, beds were comfy and clean, hot tub was lovely. Everyone we were there with talked about what a gem this Airbnb experience is. Plus, the surroundings and stars are beautiful. Whether you are hiking, chilling by the fire, cooking pizza, BBQing, lying in the hammock or chilling in the static caravan, it’s heavenly. Jaani even surprised us with a happy birthday musical gift 💝 and Lulu the dog also made it perfect! Incredible venue and incredible host.

The Firs Campsite - Pendock Safari Tent

AlexandruRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a wonderful stay at Simon’s safari tent in Welland. The tent was spotless, cosy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. The beds were very comfortable, and the peaceful surroundings made it a perfect escape from the city. Simon was an excellent host—friendly, responsive, and made sure we felt right at home. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches and clear communication throughout. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique and comfortable stay in a beautiful countryside setting!

*Glamping* Furnished Bell Tent

EmmaRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Loved the gorgeous bell tents, the food offered on site was delicious and amenities were great! only slight issue was the toilets being a bit of a walk from the glamping tents. I’d expect them to be nearer to the toilet so trips in the night weren’t as bad. Would love to stay again and fellow campers were all so lovely. We easily got the bus into Oxford and back. Easy day out with 2 small children and a Granny. Definitely recommend!!

Trenosa Glamping - Stunning Views & Private

JessicaRating, 5 stars21 months ago
AMAZING STAY AT TRENOSA! The instructions to get there were very clear. The single track road was a bit daunting but very doable and the tent and especially the views are extremely worth it! The safari tent was definitely luxury camping but lacked some amenities, would definitely recommend bringing your own kitchen cloths, tea towels and handwash/bar soap and any toiletries you need. The hot water, amazing shower and kitchen were all great! The welcome hamper was a lovely touch with local cheeses and local eggs! The beds are super comfortable and we all had amazing sleeps. It can get really chilly at night but the duvets provided were lovely and cosy. The only downside if you're squeamish like we are was the insects, there are lots of spiders and earwigs in the tent but it definitely didn't ruin our stay. The views and privacy are so worth it! Just book this place! You definitely will not be sorry!!

Woodland Safari tent with a back to basic ethos

SilkeRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a wonderful stay at Becky’s farm. We stayed in the woodland glamping tent which was very comfortable and really enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. washing up in the river with the lushest moss, a beautiful walk up to the lake, the children played all day and thoroughly enjoyed making a fire and dipping into the river. Thank you so much for the warm welcome Becky!

Amazon

KaiRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Had a wonderful stay in the Amazon tent. Jean was a fabulous host, attentive and making sure we had everything we needed, and was lovely when I realized I'd made a bit of a booking error. The BBQ and fire pit were well welcomed, and the hot tub was fabulous! The tent was well set out and had everything we needed, and what wasn't directly in the tent we were able to find in the kitchenette.

Wild Woodland Glamp!

StuartRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Short one night stay after a day walking in the hills. With Marc's clear instructions we found the place easily even in the dark, walking through snow, whilst being rained on! We stayed in the larger of the two tent options as our first choice of the smaller tent wasn't available. This turned out to be great luck, as the wood burner was very welcome at the end of a very wet and cold day! Great tent, with indoor wood burner, outdoor toilet, shower and kitchen. Great location, highly recommended for a peaceful getaway.

Family Bell Tent Sleeps 4. With Log Burner. (YORK)

JodieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We booked last minute to come and stay at Peter’s place. We were met upon arrival by Peter who showed us round the camp and our tent. We immediately noticed how much thought and effort he put into the camp and accommodation. Our tent felt homely and so comfortable. We were shocked at how large and cosy the bed was. We had a BBQ and fire pit that we made use of at our tent (we had around to fire pit till 11pm drinking beer and telling stories l, it was lovely). The sound of the Tawny owl’s, after sundown was amazing too (Peter said there was a family of them that lived local to the accommodation). We could hear them as we was drifting off to sleep. We were so impressed with how much love and hardwork Peter has put in his camp, it really shows. We are so glad chose this camp and we particularly enjoyed sharing stories with Peter and getting to know more about him. It made the stay personal. We would like to thank Peter, we are looking to seeing you for our next booking in July!!!

Plas Derwen Country House Bell Tent Camping

IngridRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Great couple of nights away as a family in nature, with a walk in the Snowdonian area and local horse riding trip. We were lucky with the weather, which meant we made the most of sitting outside in the evenings. The barn with its facilities is a great addition with plenty of space (and extra foldable chairs) should we have needed shelter to eat. There is a battery operated pump inside the tent to top up the airbeds. The sheep walking past behind the fence in the morning were entertaining. We loved the secluded location which felt safe and Christine was a very welcoming host. Logs are available for purchase also which is handy. Corwen is a quaint little town, Yum Yums cafe was great before heading home.

Luxury Bell Tent Todmorden

JoshuaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This was a get away for my partners 21st, our first time in a bell tent and it certainly has opened our horizons to this style of getting away more. The bed was really comfy, the shower was well looked after, clean and great temperature. The logs were in fast supply, even on a cold/windy night you are warm and toasty. Really enjoyed our 2 night stay and would recommend this place to anyone. We got given great recommendations in the area by Kirsty and was super accommodating. The view in a morning was unbeatable. Was a really great escape from the typical 9-5. Thanks again Kirsty 🙂

Well thank you to Joanne who made our stay such a pleasure. Joanne kindly set up a birthday banner and balloons prior to arrival as a surprise. The tipee was spotless as was the shared areas. The site itself was more peaceful than I expected and I was pleasantly surprised. Would return x

Periwinkle open-plan Safari Tent

RuthRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We really enjoyed our time in Periwinkle Safari Tent. Having a fridge, beds, firepit etc, all made it an extra special - luxury - camping experience. The washrooms were lovely too. Little extras, such as ear plugs, blankets and hot water bottles were really nice to have and made it homely. My two children made friends in the play park with another couple of kids whilst we were there, and it all together made it a great break away! We visited Croft Farm Water Park for stand-up-paddleboarding whilst we stayed - as it’s only 15 mins away. Highly recommend it all as a treat get-away.

Foxes Den, experience nature from your doorstep!

StephenRating, 5 stars36 months ago
We had a great stay at Little North Field. The accommodation has wooden floors and inner walls but the external walls and roof is canvas. When the temperature drops at night, the tent is kept warm by the wood burner fireplace. There is a weber provided and also a firepit outside. Accommodation comes with everything you need including wood and firelighters, fitted kitchen, tea/coffee/sugar etc, inside bathroom with good shower and comfortable bedding, towels and good furnishings with lots of personal little touches. The kitchen has 2 fast heating plates, but no oven. However, there is a microwave. There are also various outdoor games provided and an excellent flat lawn for children to play. One thing to be aware of depending on your network you might experience low reception (I have EE and it was fine but Vodafone seems to be patchy) and there is no wifi - so we had a very good digital detox for a few days :). There is also no TV which was great and we did not miss it in the slightest. Just bring your suitcase, book, camera, food and good campsite stories! Thanks Catherine and Tim!
