What a hidden gem! This cosy cottage was a real home from home — beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and incredibly welcoming from the moment we arrived. The location is perfect: peaceful and quiet, yet just a stone’s throw from a lovely local pub and some wonderful walking trails. The kitchen was very well equipped, making it easy to cook meals when we didn’t feel like going out. Everything was thoughtfully provided, and the attention to detail really showed. We absolutely loved our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in a charming setting.

Had a lovely few days in Kingfisher lodge, with family celebrating some big birthdays. It was great to find out that there was an electric car charging point outside the lodge. Thank you for coming to check that we had been able to get the car on charge. The lodge was well equipped, lovely and clean and a cake and Prosecco for us to enjoy.

Carthorse Barn is just simply stunning ! So spacious and beautifully decorated, we felt right at home . The day we arrived weather was not the greatest so having a wood stove was blissful. The cottage is very spacious and has everything needed for a comfortable stay , kitchen is fully equipped, downstairs toilet a welcomed bonus. Upstairs both bedrooms are immaculate, spacious and have very comfy beds . I loved the window bench in the kids bedroom, such a wonderful nook to relax. The main bedroom has the biggest and comfiest bed I have ever seen , such a beautiful wooden headboard too. I loved the free standing bath. The farm is also lovely and we enjoyed going to see the pigs and walking round the lakes.

Will & Amanda go above and beyond to make their guests stay wonderful. Check in was so easy with very detailed communication. They provided a lovely welcome book with info on the area, what’s to do, places to visit etc . The house was immaculate and very comfortable with everything you needed. The surroundings were super tranquil and just the perfect spot to relax with family. It was so lovely to simply sit and watch the wildlife outside and activity on the lake ❤️ Highly recommend for anyone wanting a relaxing getaway from a normally fast paced life. WOW! WOW! WOW! Fabulous place, very clean, very tidy, lots of light, perfect weather, lovely decking area, lovely to watch watersports, very peaceful, comfortable beds with clean linen, good size bedrooms and bathrooms. Lovely gesture from the owners leaving us some milk, coffee, tea and pizzas! We will be back, you won't be disappointed, book your stay and you will walk into this place and jaw dropping, it's an amazing place! Thank you Andy and Anne, we've had an amazing time!

Great stay at Jack's Place. Very much appreciated the EV charger. Allestree Park was wonderful as was the Red Cow Pub - just around the corner. There is lots to do in this part of England. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Only a one night stay but was a very peaceful and cosy night. Everything was immaculate when we arrived. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The grounds on which we stayed were gorgeous and very nice to walk around. Would definitely stay again.

Fiona and Peter's place was a wonderful base for exploring the absolutely beautiful area and enjoying the Hay Festival. A 30 min drive from the festival site, it was perfect for us. The flat is cosy and convenient, the surroundings beautiful and peaceful. We loved spending time in the grounds and meeting the pigs, goats and cat. thank you so much for a lovely stay!

Beautiful, spacious and clean flat in great location at a very reasonable price. All necessities required for our stay were provided. Simon met us for check-in and showed us round. Would happily return if ever in Liverpool again.

What a beautiful find. Loved the quality of the mews. Location was great and lots to do nearby. Highly recommend Cannon Hall Country Park, Cannon Hall Farm, Nostell National Trust and the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. Would certainly come back.

This apartment is all about the spectacular views - from every window. It's a personal space, comfortable, clean, warm and well equipped. We enjoyed our stay very much.

We booked Glyme Flat as we were working in the local area for a couple of days. What a lovely place to wind down after a days work! The instructions to find the place & check in where especially useful as it is very off the beaten track. Make sure you've got them downloaded as there really isn't much signal there! Loved our stay here! The location was great, very peaceful and tranquil. The house itself was lovely, really cosy and clean, and looks just as advertised on images. Lots of places to explore nearby too. The host was friendly and responsive. Would definitely recommend!

it was the most beautiful, cosy cottage with stunning gardens. it was a home from home experience. cottage had everything we needed and more..It was extremely clean. Greg the host was absolutely amazing and responding in mins to any questions. We will definitely be staying there again. it was a magical place! can't praise this property enough. highly recommend anyone to stay there. We had the best time there and can't wait to go back. our little dogs loved it there too.

Nina and I chose Zeta's beautiful cottage for our first trip as a married couple (we got married the day before!) In short, it was the perfect first weekend together. We enjoyed the use of the spa and the serenity of White Chimnies. Zeta was also the best host and went the extra mile to make our stay extra special. Nothing was too much to ask and she came highly recommended from my sister and her husband who've stayed twice. 10/10 would recommend! We look forward to returning!

Marina view cottage is a lovely place to stay, really quiet and peaceful all we heard were birds singing when we were in the lounge. Great to be straight onto the canal for our old doggies. Lots of walks if you have more athletic dogs too. Cozy, well equipped and spotless, a real find I highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. Brilliant place, Andy was an excellent host, helpful communication throughout. We will definitely stay again.

The cottage was lovely, clean and tidy, and close to the town. Kate was friendly and helpful. Kids who love farm animals will definitely love this place. It is surrounded by beautiful views. Hope we will be back to explore more beautiful places.

Beautiful air bnb, in a peaceful location! Tom was helpful with recommendations and things to do in the surrounding area. Was exactly as described with extra company from the four dogs, which we loved!
