Literature, rest & relax

Situated in a beautiful location, Loch Awe was just a stones throw away. Fantastic scenery. Perfect place for staying with dogs. Large secure gardens with seating available to sit of an evening. Small local cafe which also served as a corner shop. Hosts were welcoming , accomodation was clean, with everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Will use again when going back to explore more of the stunning area.

Lochside cottage, stunning views

ChristopherRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Lovely cottage in a fabulous location with unspoilt views over Loch Fyne. The only negative point was the noise from the plot of land next to the cottage where a new house is currently under construction. I’m sure once the building is completed the cottage will be extremely peaceful and we won’t hesitate to return . Very responsive and helpful host

The Wee Hut

ClareRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
One of the most beautiful and comfortable airbnbs I’ve stayed in! The location was gorgeous, Rosie was beyond helpful and welcoming, including having freshly baked bread ready for us on arrival! The hut was very clean and warm. The kitchen was even better equipped than my kitchen at home. On top of all of that the yoga class was one of the most enjoyable I’ve ever done, it was so relaxing. Lovely sauna session as well!! Truly can’t recommend this place more.

New - Lovely studio with great views

LenaRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We stayed more than a week and were absolutely in love with this place and what Undine and John made out of it! The apartment is lovingly furnished with an eye for details and very cozy. Everything was well equipped for home cooked meals. It is the perfect location to explore the area around Oban and Glencoe, which Undine gave perfekt recommendations for trips. We enjoyed the tranquility of the place and the views even on rainy days. If you come by car (car rental flitdrive in Oban) and are open for self catering this is a 11 out of 10 for a holiday!

Cruachan Hideaway, Taynuilt near Oban, mezzanine +

Wow, what an amazing joke , all the finishing touches in the air bnb made us feel at home ! There’s plenty of entertainment for those cosy nights in and sharing the bottle of red from the welcome hamper made our first night ! We cannot fault this air bnb in any way and we cannot wait to come back ! This has surpassed all other homes we have stayed in, thank you Tricia and Frank !

Cosy Cabin on Loch Awe shores with a hot tub

Beautiful place, lovely and peaceful. The little village was really nice, and full of friendly people. Nice little shop in the village you can walk to from the log. Would highly recommend. And will definitely be back.

Spacious lodge with king sized bed

RuneRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
On arrival, the weather was coming in, but as soon as we were inside that just made the place feel cozy, it's well insulated against cold and drafts (and midges). And entering through the conservatory gives an upgraded porch to get yourself and your belongings sheltered under while you are fiddling to get in. Both kitchen and bathroom are really nicely specced, and we found the whole place to easily have everything we needed for holiday relaxing - including a very comfortable bed. The place is quite isolated, so unless your main plans for activity is walking - there is a nice round trip walk down to Furnace - or similar outdoor activities - or none at all - be aware that anything else requires a drive. That being said, nearby Inveraray was one of the most picturesque small towns we saw on our trip, with several good places to eat.

Scottish Romantic Lakefront Private Cabin Hot Tub

JenniferRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Really loved our few days in the log cabin right at the waters edge. Some highlights for us was picking up some seeds in the local ‘The Wee Seed Shed’ and then watching all the birds come to visit. The kids loved feeding the ducks on the loch! The cabin itself has everything you’d need and was very comfortable. The town is very small but so friendly and perfect place to unwind and enjoy being in nature. Thank you again Julian!
