The Cottage at Old Oaks Farm

Built in the early 1900's, this serene cottage is located approximately one mile from Furman University at the base of Paris Mt. It has been lovingly improved, but the floors are a bit slanted and no corner is exactly square. Located in a neighborhood on a five acre farm, it consists of three large rooms, comfortably furnished and lots of natural light. The cottage is convenient to downtown Greenville(5 miles),Travelers Rest, Furman, and the Swamp Rabbit Trail. No pet fee or cleaning fee.

Our Tiny Treasure

A cozy get-away just outside of charming Travelers Rest. Located off Hwy 25. Close to both Furman and North Greenville Universities. Come and enjoy the Swamp Rabbit Trail and the surrounding Greenville area. Both Greenville (GSP), and Asheville (AVL), airports are within 45 minutes. You can be in Hendersonville, NC, in 20 minutes, Asheville, in 40. The Cherokee Foothills Scenic Hwy 11 is a few miles down the road. Very peaceful and private setting. Owners are through the woods.

The mountain view is simply magical — watching the sunsets each evening was a true highlight of our stay. The house is beautifully designed, with incredible taste and thoughtful attention to every little detail — you can truly feel the love and care that went into it. Everything we could possibly need was there, and even more. We felt completely at home — or maybe even better than home! Our stay at Gabriella's was wonderful. It is close enough to major roads to get anywhere quickly yet in a quiet neighborhood and very private. The living room was comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped, the bedrooms were large and everything was beautifully decorated. With family new to the area, I've already asked to stay there again!

Had another great stay at the Trailside Cottage! Love this place and will be back again next year! House is clean and comfortable and plenty of amenities. Also is across the street from Swamp Rabbit trail and within walking distance of great restaurants and shops. Although on a main street traffic noise was never an issue. Highly recommend!
