Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Cushing

Great location. Woke up to the sounds of birds. very responsive. I would have given it a 5 star all the way, David was amazing and responded in a very timely manner. But, the turn over service could have been much better. The previous guest left a wine bottle in the automatic fridge ice dispenser and it was unfounded until my family found a large peice of glass in their drink, serious hazard to drink glass. Should have been spotted by the turn over service but, who would check the ice maker for a bottle a wine? I understand that. Very uncommon and unfortunate for us. David responded in a very fast manner and gave us options to accommodate the situation. I would have left a 5 star if this was the only thing but everything was so unorganized in the kitchen, they had everything but nothing made sense to why it was there. Sink didn't drain. There were also stains on the sheets and a pizza box left by the fridge that wasn't ours. Little things but the turn over service was a let down.

Despite rain everyday, we enjoyed our stay very much. We are 3 women in our 60's and appreciated having our own rooms. We were out alot, but always felt comfortable when we returned. The home is so close to Rockland and the wonderful restaurants. We are sure if the weather was better, we would have enjoyed the water view so much more. Was skeptical about cleanliness due to the fact that animals are allowed. But to our surprise, the home was extremely clean. Would never know animals had been inside. And for those traveling with animals, there is a very nice fenced area for your pet. We traveled to Maine for a Celebration of Life for a family member. The home is located right next to a cemetery, but found that ironically comforting as our Family name was featured on one of the primary headstones. And, on the day of the Celebration, we were visited by a red cardinal sitting on the rail of the deck. It didn't linger long, long enough for each of us to see it. Would stay here again!!

Lovely house for our weekend getaway to Maine!

Amazing place, host was super kind and accommodated my family’s last minute booking since we were cancelled on twice that week! We are super happy we found this adorable beautiful place that ended up being better than the other places would have been anyway!

Perfect weekend retreat for a small family with a young one. Close to downtown, museum, and the firepit was so nice at night. 5 stars all around and will return in the future. Thanks Phillip!

This was my 5th time going there and I love it! The house is so cozy & very clean. The property is large and the view is breathtaking over looking the river. They are also pet friendly so we were able to take our Lhasa Apso Revy on vacation with us. Besides how great this Air BnB is, my favorite is the hosts Kent & Tish! They are wonderful people. They are kind & friendly, & have such beautiful souls. They have become family to me! I highly recommend getting this air bnb!! Thank you again Tish & Kent! Gregory and Sara’s place is comfortable, beautifully decorated and very well equipped. Set back from the road and surrounded by trees, the round house is perfectly located and from the inside, enjoys views of trees and birds out of huge windows. We felt very welcome and enjoyed the wine, delicious coffee and popcorn that awaited us! If you are looking for a secluded place in nature and a short drive to picturesque mid-coast harbors, this is the place for you.

What a wonderful experience! Rebecca was an absolutely outstanding host, always quick to respond and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. My family and I had such a peaceful stay. The home and location were incredibly tranquil, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The house and property were absolutely beautiful, and we loved sipping our morning coffee on the amazing balconies with the breathtaking views. There is so much space, and every room in the house is well thought out, functional, and cozy. The pool is even better than we hoped, so big and clean and in immaculate condition. We spent most of our time swimming and relaxing by the pool. We also enjoyed playing pool and having so many rooms to gather in with the comfort of plenty of new comfy furniture. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind for a vacation away from all the noise and chaos of daily life. Every single area was as described in the listing and better. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

Beautiful Airbnb! Everything in the Airbnb was very well thought out. The host was super nice and always quick to respond. My only regret was not spending more time here!

My return visit to the Boathouse was even lovelier than I hoped it would be. The location can't be matched by anything else I've seen. I enjoyed a September visit with my dog and was lucky to have pristine weather. I lived a very simple and healthy outdoors life and came home the better for it. The Boathouse is true to its description: it is simple and rustic and uncomplicated but well-equipped, and is perfect for one-and-dog, or for two people. A little coming-and-going from the neighboring houses meant that I didn't feel isolated. Margaret is truly an exceptional and friendly host who communicates promptly and clearly. I almost hesitate to share "my" Boathouse location with too many of my back-home friends because it feels so intimate and special. I already want to be back there. I offer my deep thanks to Margaret and to the place that I could - briefly - call home.

Adorable cottage, newly renovated. Perfect for two with an open space loft for one more. Kitchen is well stocked right down to the coffee. A good location if visiting Fort Knox, Mt. Barrie and not too far from Bar Harbor if that is on your list. Great stay, highly recommend. Beautiful view and private.

We had a wonderful stay in Angela’s beautiful home. It had great amenities, was super clean, and had everything we needed. Loved the pool and fire pit. The kitchen was roomy for cooking too. 5 stars!

The host gave us an upgrade to another tiny house in the same location that we gladly accepted. We were welcomed by fresh lilacs in the tiny home with cozy ambiance. The location is remote with a small farm stand (the honey from this stand is a must, we got the biggest jar and we have zero regrets). This is a peaceful retreat with beautiful views and hikes. I recommend this to anyone looking to escape the city.

Fantastic place to rent, I fully recommend it! It was winter, and I’m a solitary person. Linda and Frank respected that while still unobtrusively checking on me to make sure I had what I needed. I’m a weaver, Linda is a quilter and we had really enjoyable conversations. She had great recommendations for yarn and consignment shops (another passion of mine and there are some fine ones around). I will come back when life slows. Linda and Frank, wholehearted thanks to you both!

What a wonderful spot! Gorgeous, quiet pond and relaxing wood fired sauna. Rheanna is a super responsive and helpful host. We'll be back! Just FYI - this cabin is a "three season" structure. Although it was super comfortable, it felt a little more like camping than we originally expected with some cool nights and mornings, a few insect frinds, and a short walk to the shared bathrooms and kitchen area.

Cabin is a rare find in New England since it was modern, pet friendly and secluded with its own hiking trail connected to a charming farm. The furniture, decor and lighting delivered an amazing glamping experience. But above that, host was sensational with local recommendations and exceeded all expectations to make our stay pleasant.

My wife and I stayed here with our two dogs and loved it! Great house, beautiful location and views on the water. Kaylyn was a great host - responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend!

Lisa’s place is great for a quiet retreat in nature. Beautiful view of the water, hundreds of stars at night. Very dog friendly. Lisa is a conscientious host and her place was spotless. It is off the beaten path, great for local exploring, but a hike from Acadia and Bar Harbor. Lisa recommended Pemaquid Pointe and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The only drawback was no TV. We would recommend her place to friends and family wanting to explore mid-coast Maine, especially if traveling with their pooch.
