The house is peacful and in the heart of this beautiful Tuscan village, if you want to explore the region this is a perfect retreat for a weekend or longer. We are 50 minutes from Pisa airport on the SS12 route. The location is perfect for summer or winter. In summer you can reach the sea, in winter ski in the hills. All year round you can explore the region by foot, bicycle, motorcycle or car.

La casa si trova nel centro del paese, il parcheggio si trova distante circa 60 m. Presenza di strutture ricettive. La casa è un ottimo punto di appoggio per visitare anche i paesi vicini come Barga e Coreglia, tutti e due tra i borghi più belli d'Italia.

The building is around 500 years old, and is thought to be at the very heart of the original Cardoso, with the village growing around this centre over the next few centuries. Recently restored, the house has many original features, including wooden beams, terracotta tiles and its two distinctive arches. The house is a rustic stone and wood house in the park of the Apuan Alps, an ideal place for those who want to take walks in the woods and get to know and visit the attractions of Versilia and Tuscany between the sea and the mountains. The house consists of a full kitchen with gas stove, wi-fi, sofa bed and for heating for the winter season it has a wood stove and preset heat pumps, a bedroom with full bathroom with shower, a wooden loft with a single bed.
