Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Cumberland River

This was the perfect place for visiting Nashville! Lois was so sweet and accommodating for us! The muffins were amazing!

Staying with Charles and Diane was more than just a getaway — it felt like being welcomed into a friend’s home. From the start, they made it clear: this is your home while you’re here. Diane is incredibly kind — she made sure we were well-fed, gave us full access to the kitchen, and never let us lift a finger. Charles’s knowledge of the Smoky Mountains was invaluable. He guided us to serene hikes away from crowds and even captured beautiful moments of my partner and me that we’ll always treasure. And the food — unforgettable. Charles’s quiche alone is worth the trip, and yes, the pancakes are orange-infused and absolutely perfect. Their warmth, care, and attention to every little detail made this one of the most meaningful travel experiences we’ve had. We left with full hearts, wonderful memories, and new friends. Can’t wait to return.

Beautiful property and we enjoyed the private suite. It was perfect for us but do note that the stairs could be steep for some folks. We completely disconnected with no tv, no laptops, and no phones. Just a couple books and the sounds of the animals outside. We rated everything 5 star but remember you are on a farm in the middle of the country. While they have WiFi onsite your GPS will be hit or miss in the area. We explored the waterfalls and hiking but had to use a map on occasion . Plan ahead! Expect a few bugs out in the country also. If you are sensitive to that I would bring bug spray. Fall creek Falls was incredible. It’s roughly 15 minutes away and if you are physically able to handle strenuous hiking the base of the falls was quite the experience. It’s pretty dicey navigating the jagged wet rocks. If you pass the Butter Dish restaurant in your travels be sure to stop in. It’s country cooking at its finest to include some incredible dessert options.

There were small touches that didn’t go unnoticed—plants, the color yellow, & perhaps a crystal near the remote . It felt like the host truly understood the importance of creating space not just for rest, but for restoration. I found myself creating new routines: morning affirmations on my dream board, grounding outside with bare feet, nourishing myself with simple meals, and ending each day with reflection. It reminded me that peace isn’t somewhere out there—it’s a state we can cultivate, especially when we’re supported by an environment that honors stillness. By the end of the 7 days, I felt renewed. Not in a cliché, “vacation” kind of way—but truly restored. The kind of restoration that only comes when you remember who you really are beneath the noise of the world. Marie’s love of hosting included sharing her home and the best of Nashville. Every minor detail was anticipated and well provided for. We loved our stay here! It’s was a beautiful place to getaway and yet still be close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We loved the little cottage and Lemuel was an amazing host. He was super helpful and friendly and very responsive. This place is a must book for the price and location! Super easy to find as well! We would love to come back so time for sure!

Stephanie stayed up super late to greet us after a very long delay due to the horrible weather on our arrival date. Even with the power outage, she had battery operated lights out for us. The communication was fabulous, she replied to all my questions & concerns.

We had an amazing stay. The house brings you back in time. It was incredibly clean and the property is beautiful. The host, Linda, was available at all times to answer our questions and made sure we had everything we needed. The only thing we had to complain about, which is not Linda’s fault in any way, was the fact that the neighbor has multiple dogs that bark so much. It took away from the enjoyment of the backyard. Regardless, we were able to enjoy our stay and would definitely stay here again. We highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a unique and beautiful Nashville stay.

Staying in the Inn is like stepping into a Hallmark movie!! Beautiful space and a delicious and pretty plated breakfast!! They are such thoughtful hosts you won’t want to leave!

Jackie and Julie gave us nothing less than exceptional hospitality, I couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to a bed & breakfast. Pillow Street was the perfect rest stop on my boyfriend and I’s trip to the smokies. We can’t stop talking about the breakfast these lovely ladies made for us. From enjoying freshly cut fruit, homemade granola and blackberry jam, to the cozy private room & bathroom, we enjoyed everything about our stay.

We have stayed at Linda’s a few times. Each time is great! This time I was traveling solo to Shelbyville and contacted her at the last minute as logistics for my travel trailer plans were delayed. She responded quickly and with ease, I was able to reserve a room that I knew after 8-9 hours of driving I had a bed to rest. Always great breakfast items provided. Everything is very clean and comfortable. Great place. Highly recommend. Nice history to AirBnB also.

Very cute bed and breakfast, and hosts could not be kinder! We especially loved the breakfasts in the beautifully appointed dining rooms. Thank you Janelle and Jim for making our weekend trip so special!

We were here for just one night, but we absolutely loved our time at this beautiful, historic hotel. The surroundings were beautiful. We really enjoyed our delicious breakfast and learning all about the history of the hotel and the area. We would love to visit again sometime.

We absolutely loved the cozy fire pit, the peaceful riverfront view just steps from our back door, and the overall sense of safety and tranquility. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, making it easy to relax and unwind. And having a charming coffee shop nearby was the perfect touch. Our stay was perfect! Before our trip even started, Roxana sent us a detailed message, telling us how to find the place, how to get inside, and what to expect. Everything was exactly was described. Very clean and cozy! We loved the comfortable bed and the large shower head. I loved relaxing in the large tub with jets. Roxana was extremely responsive to all our messages and was always very kind. Any issues we had (like with the portable a/c) were fixed as soon as possible, and Roxana treated it as if she were entering *our* home- she communicated before, during, and after going into the room. Highly recommend Roxana and this Airbnb!

The host is courteous and responsive. The location looks just like the photos. There is a lot to do inside of the home. I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend.

We enjoyed our stay so much! This historical beautiful home was stunning! It was comfortable and peaceful and beautiful! I loved sitting on the porch sipping coffee and walking the farm taking in the beautiful views. I loved sitting anything rich with history and this place didn’t disappoint! Syresa was knowledgeable about the history and shared some books about the house and families that built it. The will be staying there again! Friendly and very welcoming family!

Eliza's and Brad's place is cozy, clean and quiet. We really enjoyed our time at their house. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We would definitely stay again.

The hosts were extremely responsive to my questions and requests during the stay. The house was a perfect spot for walking to Rupp and restaurants around Jefferson St. Plenty of space for all of us and enough room to host a graduation celebration one evening. Def recommend!

I LOVED staying with Regina, five stars doesn’t feel like enough! She was incredibly kind, very responsive, and made sure I had everything I could possibly need! I was able to have excellent conversations with her, as well as other guests over breakfast. Breakfast was simply fantastic, I have no words except that you should eat it…seriously. The house felt very safe even though there were others staying (that was a concern of mine), locks on all the bedroom doors and bathrooms, and I don’t see Regina putting up with any nonsense. When I left, I felt like I was leaving a home away from home and couldn’t have been more grateful to stay there. I wish I could’ve stayed longer and will definitely be back!

Reeni is such a sweet lady! She is very responsive and goes out of her way to make you feel at home. The place was squeaky clean and beautifully decorated. A very large handicap accessible unit with everything you need for a great stay in the area. Look forward to staying with her next time we are in the area!

Can't begin to explain how amazing our stay was. Valerie and Tracey made us feel right at home, the kids couldn't contain their excitement and did not want to leave. This was our first time staying with a host and couldn't have been more pleasant of a stay. Tracey was great with the kids explaining all the animals and showing them how to feed them. Winston, Hank and Bentley were always excited to greet us and extremely friendly. I would highly recommend any locations hosted by Tracey and Valerie to everyone!
