House holiday rentals in Cullowhee

Exactly like the pictures! They almost don’t do the view justice! The hot tub was one of our favorite parts. We drove about 40 min to Cade’s cove for a hike.. highly recommend. We also stopped at “Burger Master” and “Townsend Abby Pub” where David took great care of us! We will definitely be back to the Rocky Top Retreat!

Well, my husband and I have stayed there on and off for the last six months for local work, so we know the place well. Sadly, our project has come to an end, so our most recent stay will be our last for work. BUT, we love everything about Todd and Barbie and the house, and we will be back for fun hiking weekends. Hiking, waterfalls, everything nearby. It's the best place we've stayed in the area. Private, squeaky clean, big deck, large dining room table for big meals or spreading out the paperwork, GREAT internet connection and TV options. We'll definitely be back on our own - we feel so comfortable there in every way. I could not recommend any higher - would give it a "10" if I could. Todd and Barbie also bent over backwards to help us with a couple of last-minute schedule changes. Such honest and thoughtful hosts. Thanks Todd and Barbie for EVERYTHING over the last few months. We love you guys!

Our family felt right at home at Michael's A-frame. My husband commented that it felt as though we had stayed there before, and it really had. It has every amenity and creature comfort you could want or need, including a nicely stocked spice cabinet, plenty of linens, board games and puzzles, and a place to do laundry. Michael was friendly and helpful. Our family had an awesome time, and we hope to be back to enjoy the property in the summer months!

Such a beautiful and comfortable home! Very charming and the neighborhood was great. Access to fishing and trails. Communication was excellent!!! Highly recommend!

The cabin location provided a wonderful view of the mountains surrounding Gatlinburg. There was a lot of room for everyone to be comfortable. It was close to Gatlinburg, and only a short drive to Pigeon Forge. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Our family had a great time!

Clint and Hannah were a joy to have as hosts! The welcome sign was a great surprise for our daughter. This house was pretty well stocked,cleanly and cozy. The amenities were loved, especially the birthday girl and siblings! This house will now hold extra joy, love and laughter . We highly suggest this rental and will be personally renting in the future.

This is such an amazing place and yes it is real! Incredible views and wonderful stunning home in the mountains. It really was a memory I'll have forever. Matt was so awesome, he helped us get settled in and the amenities were so awesome🙏. Stay here and prepare to be pampered all the way up in the mountains! ❤️

The view from the cabin was simply breathtaking. The cabin was meticulously designed and equipped with all the amenities you could ever need. The hot tub, game room, and fire tables in the porch were a huge plus. Joyce was incredibly kind and attentive to our questions and concerns. Throughout our stay, we appreciated the time and effort you put into providing us with detailed user guides for every appliance in the cabin. We can’t wait to return to this wonderful place!

This was such a beautiful place to stay while we were witnessing my daughter’s graduation from WCU. It was so spacious, clean, and had gorgeous views, all while being minutes away from the University. The host was so proactive with communication and instructions for check in and out. The place was SPOTLESS. It’s an unforgettable trip!

A wonderful space. Lots of room. Coffee Creamer. I know. A small thing. But rare that the host has it along with sufficient coffee pods. Lot's of coffee and creamer at Marian's house. Roomy. Full kitchen. Easy walk to town. Highly recommended.

We had a Wonderful weekend at Nate’s Place the Cabin is Absolutely amazing.Listening to the sound of the river in the Morning while drinking a coffee and relaxing ,just amazing .We also enjoy the jacuzzi at night while watching the stars. Your place is all we needed to just unplug from the hectic work life and just relax in a peaceful beautiful Cabin.We also visited Dry Falls and White water Falls all only 1 hour away from the Cabin and Drove to Gatlinburg also less then 2 hours away .It was a great time we can wait to plan another trip back!

We stayed here before and just couldn't wait to come back. The house is a beautiful, private escape in the trees. Yet close to so many fun things to do. The kitchen is great to cook in and the views from almost every room are gorgeous. It's very clean, has lots of natural light and plenty of space to relax. We can't wait to come back!

My husband stayed here while looking at homes in the greater Franklin area. He loved the neighborhood and said the home was super clean, very comfortable, and quiet. Communication with Tanea was top notch. A great location to be close to downtown Franklin, but also Sylva, Bryson City and the Smokies. As we continue to look for a home in this area we will book Tanea’s place if available. 10/10 recommend!

I had a wonderful stay at Emily's mountain cabin! The place was exactly what I was hoping for—cozy, comfortable, and peaceful. The beds were super cozy, making it easy to relax after a day outdoors. I especially loved the spacious living room, which was perfect for lounging and enjoying the beautiful surroundings through the windows. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything I needed, making cooking simple and enjoyable. Emily provided clear and helpful instructions, which made check-in and navigating the cabin a breeze. All in all, it was a fantastic getaway, and I’d happily return!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful cabin in Balsam, NC. The setting was peaceful and quiet—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The neighborhood felt safe and serene, adding to the overall charm of the experience. The cabin itself was clean, cozy, and well-equipped for a comfortable stay. Sean was wonderful—super responsive and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet retreat in the mountains!

The cottage was very nice. It was clean and comfortable. We had many amenities, more than we expected. The neighborhood was quiet, and close to town. If we were ever to visit Franklin again, we would definitely stay at the Windmill Cottage.

Wonderful spot near the creek, in the top scores for one of the cleanest places, thoughtful art works throughout the home, comfortable and clean beds, kitchen has ample counter tops and dishware all real fine. Appreciated all that went in to creating the house and surroundings a pleasant and uplifting homebase. Katharine has the communication piece down with frequent and helpful information about places in the area to view, play in, and eat or buy food. For 3 of us from mid 70's to 80's the place was fun and relaxing and we all say big thanks to Katharine and the crew creatively worked on the cottage. Definitely would recommend to others and would stay again if in the same area.

What a gem this home was! We were in town for a track meet at WCU, but also wanted to get to see more of the area. This was the perfect relaxing welcome at the end of our long days. Fit our family perfectly. The bunk room downstairs was a hit with my teens. I would mention, if you aren’t comfortable with stairs, this might not be for you, as main living area is up flight of stairs. We were so sad to pack up and head home, and cannot wait to return. My husband says it’s the comfiest couch ever, and the grandmother agreed.

We had such a great family vacation here! The back deck has the most amazing sunsets - so peaceful and beautiful and the perfect place to unwind. (pictures don't do it justice) We were here for 5 nights and had a fun-filled vacation. We ate most of our dinners at the house and the kitchen had the basic necessities. One of our favorite days was renting a pontoon boat with a tube from Alarka Marina (located within 20 minutes from the house) and spent the day on the water. We also went hiking to waterfalls in the Smokies, spent some time at the park in Cherokee, and had a shopping day in Gatlinburg. Thank you so much for our wonderful stay!
