This is one of the coolest places I’ve ever stayed. The home is in an amazing village and is so peaceful and beautiful with great views. The location is very accessible to fun hiking trails. Lousã is good to stock up on groceries. The home has good wifi and the bottle of wine the host left was such a thoughtful and pleasant surprise. We really liked sitting on the patio having food and wine and just taking in all of the surroundings. I have never been somewhere so unique. Such a special place.

It exceeded our expectations! Great location, very comfortable, wide and clean housing. Dona Rosário was impeccable, always helpful and very nice. We will certainly be back!

It was just a one-night stay, but the space is very cozy, impeccably arranged and decorated. Immaculate cleanliness. The contact with Andreia was not in person only because of me due to the late arrival time and also very early departure time. Contact is always very easy and fast, whether by phone, messaging app (...) and even through the Airbnb app. An excellent place to discover the Serra da Estrela. I recommend it 100%.

Linhares da Beira and the surrounding area is a beautiful place to visit. The villa is perfect- well worth the money spent! Comfortable beds and everything you need in the kitchen. We braved the pool even though the weather was a bit cold for the time of year. Thanks to Linda and Helena for everything.

Alexandra has a very comfortable, clean, and inviting home. She was there for a meet and greet. The place is nestled in the mountains, the lodging offered the rustic charm and comfort; the best part was the cherry tree in the back yard, the host was so kind and at night our family picking directly from the tree - my 6 old son loved it!

The view is amazing and the place is very peaceful. Bring some supplies with you as the nearest supermarket is 15m away (by car) and enjoy the nature. Everything was as announced, clean and with everything needed to cook.

From the time we met Rogerio, we felt like we were staying in a friends home. He is so thoughtful and welcoming. The place itself is charming and comfortable. I would highly recommend this place.

Cosy and comfortable house with wonderful views over the valley. Great place to stay in winter too. We enjoyed New Year's Eve here. The place reminded us of our grandmother's house. José is such a nice person. Hope we can come back in summer to try the swimming pool. Place is quiet. It's also close to the places of Serra da Estrela.

Beautiful location, right next to the river and the mill. Bruno was a communicative and helpful host. It's very small, as it says in the description, but for 2 nights was ok.

The host was very friendly and always available to help when needed. House equipped with the necessary utensils and included a stove for cooking meals. Very pleasant and quiet surrounding area, ideal for resting. The air conditioning was perfect for the hot days that were felt. The host has a dog that kept us company. thank you and we want to come back!

Beautiful private spot. Paul was amazingly helpful and communicative, any queries answered immediately but also he didnt invade our personal space. Perfect balance. Amazing host. Very relaxed and the house had all the amenities we could want. Definitely recommend.

A lovely house in a super quiet place. Days of relaxation and fun in the pool. You'll find a house that's better than the photos, super cozy and fully equipped. Mrs. Maria and her husband were super attentive. I highly recommend the space.

We stayed overnight with our two dogs and it had everything we needed for our stay. Clear instructions on how to access the accomodation and we could park right in front which was very handy. Comfy beds, all rooms were en-suite and everything you need to cook in the kitchen. Thank you

We loved the stay, the house was beautiful and cozy. There was plenty of firewood to keep us warm in the living room. The kitchen was modern. I only have 2 things to point out: - It had all the necessary amenities except a mop to wash the dishes. - the oven top was not well washed (we left it cleaner than we found it) Finally, I leave the suggestion to the host that the outdoor space has immense potential and could be better used, for example with a swimming pool, especially in the warmer months.

My two friends and I absolutely loved Joao's place! It is one of the most unique airbnbs we have ever stayed in, built on the side of a mountain with a fabulous view off the balcony. It was comfortable and quiet. The town of Monsanto is also incredibly beautiful and unique and everything is in walking distance. I would love to return to Monsanto and would definitely stay in Joao's place again.

Hello Mr. Pedro! We would like to thank you for all the hospitality during our stay at your accommodation in Póvoa Dão. We were delighted with the space – it's quiet, well cared for and the pool was a real luxury in these hot days! It was wonderful to be able to bring our dog Escobar, who also loved the environment and the outdoor space. It is increasingly rare to find such beautiful places that accept animals so naturally. Andrea and Bruno are pleasant and charming people The property itself is spacious, and renovated to a very high standard. The yard is pleasant and spacious, we picked some mint and some lemon verbena. The view from the balcony is heart-warming. As parents of a small child, we were a little afraid of the stairs, and indeed it was challenging, but good handrails and a pair of gates to block access to the stairs from above really made it easier to cope (the stairs to the lower floor we just blocked permanently because we did not use this floor). The apartment is full of games for children, and our two-and-a-half-year-old daughter enjoyed it very much. The fresh bread and the quality coffee that Bruno left for us completed the experience. The location of the settlement is a little far from the river, and everywhere you need to drive first on the winding road down the hill. But the charming beach of Avo is 8 minutes away, so it's not really a big deal. In short, we will return again and with great joy, thank you Bruno and Andrea, we will be happy to meet you in Coimbra as well.

From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found a hidden paradise. The place is absolutely stunning: remote, peaceful, and breathtakingly beautiful. The house itself is very cosy and comfortable, with a spacious bed, a fully equipped kitchen, and a great outdoor barbecue that worked perfectly for us. However, the real charm is in the outdoor areas. Not only did we have a waterfall right at the doorstep, we were also able to enjoy a natural pool just for ourselves. The sound of the water, the refreshing swims in the river, the clean air... it all created a sense of peace that’s hard to put into words. Truly revitalizing. Alex was the perfect host: kind, helpful, and communicative, while also giving us complete privacy and space to enjoy. Super easy to talk to and made everything smooth from start to finish. Trust me, this one is a real gem. We already can't wait to come back!

Beautiful Mongolian yurt in a serene setting immersed in nature. The space is well equipped for a comfortable stay. We really enjoyed the nearby river and the hike leading to it. John and his wife are friendly and gave us tips about the area as well as some knowledge to start off grid living.
