Relax, explore and unwind in this large, cosy apartment on our organic farm, in the foothills of the Serra da Gardunha mountains. Spend the day kayaking, walking or cycling in the mountains, enjoying the largest spa in Portugal (20 mins), & exploring historic villages and cities, then come home to relax in a hammock in the orchard, soak up views from the bath, or chillout to vintage vinyl. We live on site, but the apartment is totally private, being the whole upper floor & with own entrance.

The Annex at Quinta Solar

An ideal location for exploring the area, the independent and private double bedroom is set in a rural garden of olive trees, mandarins, almonds, grapes, and figs, surrounded by nature with mountain views of the Serra da Estrela, the highest mountain range in Portugal. A comfy queen-size bed and quality linen + bathroom and kitchenette + Hot shower, mini-fridge, and mini stove ensure you can make the most of your stay. Tailor's House

A fully restored 1947 house, located in the center of the village of Chãos, where you will find a calm and welcoming atmosphere. Access to it is through a lock code made available on the day of check-in. Guests can enjoy a complimentary breakfast. There is a balcony with a barbecue area for grilling, and you can also take walks or bike rides from the accommodation, nearby. Relax with the magnificent view of Serra da Gardunha and Serra da Estrela, on the terrace available.

Casa das Essências, Country House in the City

Enjoy a unique stay in our space in a rustic villa with a private pool, located on the hillside of the Serra da Estrela. This retreat, surrounded by nature, allows you to relax and explore the city's university and historical life. The property, once a famous' 60s STAR perfume and cosmetics factory, preserves original utensils and antiques, providing a historical touch to your stay.
