This place is in an amazing spot—right by the mountains, surrounded by beautiful nature, and with the sea just in front of you. The sunsets were absolutely unforgettable. The property is super well kept, with a lovely garden and a great pool to relax in. Marcello was always quick to respond and really helpful with tips for the area. But the real star is Mariana—always smiling, super kind, and always checking in to make sure we were happy. She made the stay feel extra special. We had such a great time here and would totally recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, beautiful getaway!

I cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed staying at this apartment! It felt like being at home, a little slice of heaven right in the heart of Tropea within steps of one of the most beautiful beaches, with balconies all around the apartment overlooking the water, the street life and cafes, the best gelato and capuccino right underneath us at Tonnino's and with everything we could possibly need inside including a washer and drier which was so helpful with 2 kids! We were welcomed by Tiziana as guests when we arrived but by the end of our stay we felt as though we left as friends. She was always available within seconds for every need or question. Don't hesitate to book this apartment, you wont regret it!

We had a short but very nice stay in Tropea. The place was nice and clean as well as within walking distance of a supermarket, the city centre and a remote part of the beach. All in all very recommendable!

We had a great holiday. The apartment is perfectly situated in Tropea and the view from the balcony is second to none. Everything was close and there was enough space for all of us. Thank you for hosting us.

The apartment corresponds exactly to Alessandro's descriptions, it is in a quiet area just outside the city. There is no sidewalk for about 500 meters for those who want to walk but a 2-minute drive away there is a large free parking lot at the supermarket so you can leave your car and continue on foot to the historic center. Alessandro is always courteous and helpful. I hope to go back.

We had a great time. The apartment is very well equipped. Mario and Natalia welcomed us very warmly. There was extra cake and limoncello, both very delicious. Also, the fridge was filled with milk and juice, coffee capsules, water and tea as well as jam, everything was available. The beach is great. We didn't do much else. Snorkeling there was awesome.

Astrea Apartment was the most unique and memorable stay of our trip to Italy. The luxury of a large private garden overlooking a breathtaking view of Tropea and the water - all to ourselves - was fantastic. The house itself was clean, beachy, and very comfortable. A quick thank you to Francesco, who was extremely thorough, friendly, and accommodating to all of our needs. If you’re visiting Tropea (which you definitely should), you should enjoy your stay here at Astrea Apartments.

Excellent apartment at the top of the town..well positioned for restaurants and shops. Clean and well equipped..Good shower and strong AC..comfortable bed and when we found the hair dryer was defective they managed to replace it right away. Would highly recommend and would stay here again

Francesco's place in located in a relatively quiet place (gets quite noisy on the weekends, including loud music at the pool in the afternoon). Our kids loved the big pool! We went in the mornings, when it wasn't crowded. We also liked the beach a lot, we went in the evening, when it was quiet and the sunsets were amazing. To access the gym, one needs a key, which I was told, they only give to owners, not guests. Francesco was very kind and found a solution, so that my husband could use it. For me, a runner, the only downside of the location is no paths to run on and roads with no side. Otherwise, we loved the place! The apartment itself was small but more than enough for the 4 of us. My only complaint could be it wasn't supe clean and the kitchen equipment was quite basic (no bread knife or toaster). The air-con was great :) Francesco was always available for questions via messages and replied swiftly. All in all, I would definitely recommend the place! Thank you, Francesco :)

My friend and I arrived by train, and Vittoria picked us up in the car and took us straight to the house. The house matched Vittoria's descriptions and we had a great time. Vittoria is very kind and helpful, she welcomed us in a friendly way and was always available for anything. He also gave us various tips on where and what to visit and even advised us to rent a scooter for getting around, as the area is quite hilly and not flat. We were close to the sea and the beaches were just a short scooter ride away. Impeccable view from the house, you are surrounded by nature. There is also a swimming pool and a bar. It was really fantastic, Vittoria really welcomed us as if we were at home. Highly recommended for those who want to stay in Ricadi.

We had a fantastic 5-night stay at this Airbnb in Tropea, Italy! The unit was beautifully presented—clean, modern, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. From the kitchen essentials to the cozy furnishings, every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. Photos do not do it justice. The location was perfect, allowing us to explore the stunning beaches and charming streets of Tropea with ease. Only 10 minute walk to both. Noting also there are three supermarkets only 150 metres walk away. In particular Euro Spin a supermarket chain throughout Italy which has great food that you can cook at home or have something already cooked by them. A huge thank you to our wonderful hosts Giuseppe and Pola who were welcoming, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Definitely the best Air B n B we have stayed at and also better than some 5 star hotels. Highly recommended—we would definitely return! Tropea is well worth the visit.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 5 nights in the month of Ocotber. The apartment is cute! It has a full kitchen as well as two bedrooms. The second bedroom only has single beds, in which we did not use. The shower is quite small and if you are overweight you may have trouble for the shower ( we did not have any issues). There is a washer as well which is very convenient! The location of this apartment is perfect, it's situated right next to the stairs to get down to the beach, and 2-3 mins walk to the centre. The sunset from the balcony is stunning. I recommend this place! Thank you Lina !

Giuseppe was an amazing host. The location couldn’t have been more perfect. Giuseppe went out of his way to send through a list of recommended attractions in the area as well as how to get to and from the accommodation. Any question I had, he was quick to respond. I felt at home at the accommodation, and loved Tropea.

great place to stay. Antonio was a super friendly host, always responds for our messages, he gave us some recommendations and what's fantastic offers fantastic homemade products! the place is located in walking distance from the beach which is super quiet and wide. We've got everything we need over there. planty of parking space on fhe street. highly recommend for long and short stay 😉

Great area, a few kilometers north of Pizzo Calabro, 500 meters from a large beach that can be reached on foot through a fragrant pine forest. Spacious and fully furnished apartment. The residence where it is located has two swimming pools, one with a water slide, tennis courts and soccer fields. Excellent hospitality from the owners, kind and helpful. Recommended to everyone.

We stayed in Helen's apartment for 10 days. Wonderful view! Spacious and livable apartment for 4 people. A well-maintained garden and enchanting pool. A place of great relaxation for our holidays.

An excellent apartment in a friendly and genuine village … We’ve just returned from a superb holiday in the village of Santa Domenica. What a great apartment. Spacious and well equipped, super clean, with a decent balcony and pool with a sun bathing area. No negatives for us at all. Everything we needed food wise was in the village ; a couple of supermarkets, a really good food/bric a brac market on Mondays, a bakery, fishmonger (that serves meals also), cafe/bars, 4/5 restaurants (Il Casale was our favourite). We used Santa Domenica as a base for a few days out to Pizzo and Scilla (both beautiful and, we thought, easily as nice as Tropea. A number of beaches are accessible from Santa Domenica but these involve walks which aren’t always easy when it’s 30+ degrees. And our host ? Teresa was ace. Picked us up from the Railway Station, gave us loads of decent recommendations and responded immediately to any questions we had. A great holiday !

Ondine is an absolutely pleasant host. The communication before our Journey to Capo Vaticano was great. We‘ve got all the Information in advance. We are also very grateful for recommendations in the „House Book“, we could visit a lot of places of beautiful Calabria. We also want to thank the property Manager Jack (Giacomo), he met us at the Apartment and was always available for every question. We were very happy with the House (Family of 5). Villa Sirena has everything you need for enjoyable stay: comfortable beds (!), air conditions in every room, laundry. We also enjoyed a beatiful view from a spacious Terrace. To the sea is about 3 Minutes by car. The Beach (Groticelle) is one of the most beautiful places we‘ve been. We thank Ondine for our restful stay in Villa Sirena and can absolutely recommend the house . Natallia & Family.

Stayed for 2 nights with another couple. Super close to the city center with lots of shops and restaurants! Beautiful view of the sea, beaches and castle. And of course, this place is so Cool inside! Only thing I would say was I wish the keys were labeled so we could know which one was which for each of the 3 doors to get inside and outside. It was a bit loud from people down below on the street in the middle of the nights, so keep windows shut. But overall great stay! Would stay again.

Very beautiful place, I would definitely go back, my wife and kids loved it. Everyone is super friendly. Tip: Stair master to prepare for the hike down the 200 plus steps to get to the beautiful beach and back up when you’re done (which we did and made a huge difference).

The apartment is perfect, with an outdoor pool. Great for family vacations and not.

A wonderful place...we highly recommend it!

Very relaxing place, in a beautiful setting, with a great pool and restaurant. After a week of travelling around by train, it was good to have a base for a week of relaxation. The restaurant was great, with traditional food, friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere. We didn't bother trying anywhere else. There are some great viewpoints within easy walking distance, and the nearest station is walkable, as is the beach (but a steep climb back). Useful small supermarket a few minutes away.
