Pictures don’t do it justice! The place is super adorable and relaxing. Great views and vibes. Personal touches that make you feel like you’re visiting a friends home instead of an Airbnb. Highly recommend!

The cabin is lovely, with a great wrap-around deck overlooking a bucolic scenery complete with a river and cascades. Jessica was always helpful and responsive and the house is comfortable with a very well equipped kitchen which is unexpected in an Airbnb. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return!

We had the most peaceful, relaxing weekend at lakeside landing! The house itself is a 10 out of 10, absolutely adorable and had everything we could possibly need. The bed was sooo comfy and the views are just amazing! We enjoyed paddling around the lake during the day and the fire pit and hot tub at night! We didn’t leave the house once!! Highly recommend:)

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Jordyn and Gabby’s place! As a full-time patient care provider and with my boyfriend’s demanding job, we were in desperate need of a peaceful and cozy retreat, and this place fit perfectly. The late-night movie setup was a perfect way unwind, the fire pit, soaking in jacuzzi under the moon- all led to this healing trip to be successful! One of the highlights of our trip was kayaking in the nearby waters—it was such a serene experience! We couldn’t have asked for a more personal and relaxing getaway. Our service dog, Loha, also felt right at home and enjoyed every moment of our stay. Thank you, Jordyn and Gabby, for creating such a beautiful space that truly allows guests to recharge and reconnect!

An absolutely wonderful stay! The surroundings were just stunning and the cabin was out of this world! Everything was clean and tidy, and it was clear that there was great attention to detail and thoughtfulness in putting this place together for their guests. We will be back!

We enjoyed our stay at this cozy cottage in a quiet spot. It was clean and comfortable and easy driving distance to the event we were attending.

My family and dog really enjoyed the cozy cabin. The yard is fun. While the stairs are challenging as described... it was also fun. While small, it has everything you need. as mentioned in other reviews, it is pretty close to the road. Our check-in with Lois was smooth and all the information we needed. it was great being able to walk over to the trail. Thank you so much.

We loved staying at Lucy’s. It’s one of those places that has everything you need, from extra blankets, lots of silverware, to high quality WiFi. And the surrounding area is beautiful.

We had a wonderful stay at this historic cabin in a beautiful location surrounded by trees next to a peaceful lake. Super cozy fireplace in the cabin, BBQ grill and fire pit outside made for a wonderful stay. Would highly recommend!

We spent a long weekend at Dennis’ place and it was nothing short of amazing. Our aim was to relax and enjoy the lake, and we did just that. The house was exactly as described, matched and exceeded our expectations; furnished and the kitchen had everything we needed and more. If we’re back in CT, we won’t hesitate to book the house again! Wonderful stay in a unique, creative, clean cabin with everything that you may need. Michael and Beth were friendly and responsive and we felt very welcome on their property. There are plenty of beautiful trails and hiking in the area.

Kara was really wonderful with communication, it was a little hard to find simply because the road looks like someones driveway but after I passed it I realized where it was and found it easily after the. Sadly it rained all weekend so we didn't get to enjoy the back patio/River like we wanted to but the inside space was comfy and accomodating for a rainy day. The diner up the road was great and there were nearby restaurants/stores. Overall good stay (minus the mosquitoes! but that comes with a River haha). I would recommend the diner up the road and Bevy had good ambiance and food as well.

My husband and I totally enjoyed staying at bungalow #3. It’s in a great location, short, walk to the beach and trails a lot of history in the area which we enjoy. Also, conveniently located to great restaurants in Clinton and the surrounding shore towns. Trish was a great hostess, and I would definitely rent again.

We had such a wonderful stay! The home was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We especially loved spending time on the porch — such a peaceful spot to unwind, with the soothing sounds of the river in the background. Our dog was in absolute heaven, running around the yard and lounging on the porch right along with us! Everything about the experience was seamless, from check-in to communication with the host. Quiet, peaceful location with lake access and a nice little beach within short walking distance. Loved the screened porch! Keith was a great host- welcoming and responsive. The cabin had everything we needed and a great historical charm.

I would recommend this stay to anyone who needs getaway escape right on the lake as pictured!! It was a great family bonding trip We enjoyed it all Very close (10 min drive) to Torrington for groceries restaurants or any necessities or activities outside of cabin
