Holiday rentals with a patio in Comal River

What a hidden gem we stumbled upon in booking this place! It was even more perfect than what we were hoping for. Way better than booking 2 hotel rooms. Beautiful apartment, amazing amenities and such a fun location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the overall atmosphere greatly enhanced our get away with friends. We all would highly recommend and will be booking again if we get back to San Antonio!

We have stayed in dozens of home. This ranks up there in the top 5, but the host is #1. What set him above the rest? I asked for an early check in. He said he would need to get back to me as the previous guest will be checking out the morning we are arriving. He advised that he put a reminder in his phone. Friday morning arrived and I didn’t need to follow up with him, he followed up with me just as he said he would do. That kind of follow through is HUGE! I am very happy with Jay! The place was immaculate, penthouse decor. Picture perfect!

Angela’s place was perfect! Super close to the riverwalk and the lock bridge + much more. Excellent location. Added plus was the bed was super super comfortable. I recommend!

Second time staying at this AirBnb and I have to say my stay only got better the second time around. Luis Daniel G are a great host and definitely one of the best hosts on AirBnb at the moment.

by far Georgia was the best host ever so hospitable so friendly so proactive to tell me about restaurants nearby and things to do. she went out of her way to make homemade cookies to welcome her and proactively was attentive to our needs and wants. by far so clean so beautiful so peaceful I loved every little bit of the experience I had there with my daughter it truly was a beautiful experience very well worth it and we got to see deer around the property other animals on the other side of the fence it was just beautiful and breathtaking. I strongly advise and encourage people to enjoy themselves here and the bed is just comfortable like no other the bathroom Tip Top with anything you could possibly need super clean same for the kitchen sadly we were not able to take advantage of the hot tub but it was very beautiful.

Very Clean and Hospitable Environment for San Antonio and The Property was Quiet and Clean

Wonderful stay and friendly host! Sabrina's place was super clean and spacious for our family. Can't wait to come back again. You can float right from the property and it's only about a 5 min walk after you end your float at the last tuber exit, back to the condo. So much wildlife along the river and property.

Great place to stay! We visited for my mother-in-law's birthday weekend. It was three adults and a mid-size dog. We all had the best time. I had been looking for a pool and fenced yard. We got both! Although it wasn't a normal size pool which is shown in the pictures listed, we thoroughly enjoyed it! It fit all three of us comfortably so we could relax and chat while enjoying the scenery and the quiet space. The views and the area is just what was listed and expected. We all couldn't get over how peaceful and quiet it had been. Inside the home was absolutely comfortable and cozy. We gave my mother-in-law the larger room, but my husband and I still enjoyed the twin beds and personal bathroom. We are so thankful we were able to book as I've noticed this place is booked for quite some time this summer. Thank you Susan for being so accommodating with all of my questions and allowing us to stay!

Absolutely amazing stay! The nature itself is breathtaking and the cabin is so cozy and clean. Not only did it match the description and photos perfectly, but they also go above and beyond with the amenities they provide.

Place was cozy, very nice view, and very clean. Overall plenty of parking, perfect spot in between San Antonio and Austin. Pool was perfect temperature and clean, hot tub as well. Will be coming back for sure.

We enjoyed our 25th anniversary in this peaceful place. Close enough to town and surrounding towns, even Fredericksburg! This place had all we needed for our stay. Outside seating was nice too.

Place was great for a fair group of people plus two large dogs, everyone had space and it’s very close to a lot of things!

Hosts were very nice and responsive before and after check in. Was very willing to accommodate an early check in. Would definitely stay here again if back in the area!

The house was beautiful! Large kitchen and living room. All the bedrooms were extra roomy. The back yard was so relaxing by the fire pit!

This is our second time staying at Matt & Nikki’s place and we enjoyed it almost just as much as the first time. The condo itself is so nice and Matt & Nikki do a great job adding a lot of aesthetic touches and conveniences that make us feel right at home. Also, with easy access to the water park, the river, pools, and great restaurants, the location makes this a perfect vacation spot. I do have to mention that our vehicle was towed to San Marcos during our stay, which was unfortunate… we put the parking permit away when we went out to dinner on our last evening and forgot to put it back up when we got back the condo. When we woke up in the morning, our vehicle was gone. However, Matt was very responsive (on a Sunday) and accommodating in giving us extra time on checkout day and helping me find the information to get it sorted out. Don’t let that scare you away though. All that is just to say, take Matt & Nikki’s warnings about keeping the parking pass visible at all times seriously!

We had a great time in this cozy space!

I had a health crisis the first night of my stay. The hosts were very understanding when family members came down to help my husband with my grandkids ( which pushed us one person over the max allowed). I can say the condo is lovely and so cutely decorated. The pool is large and mostly shaded. My grandkids saw a lot of deer and birds around the well-kept property. There are plenty of restaurants close by.

My daughters and I stayed in Roy's beautiful home for 11 nights while in town from Alabama for Math Camp. Everything about our experience was absolutely wonderful. Roy is responsive, attentive, understanding and caring. His home is exactly as described and tastefully decorated with all the Texas charm! We arrived very late on the first night but when I woke up and pulled back the curtains in the living room, we were met with a family of deer. Just past the deer was the gorgeous view of Canyon Lake. Our hearts were full!! We prepared many meals in the kitchen. Every appliance I needed was there, which was a pleasant surprise because I'd forgotten to inquire about that before booking. There is PLENTY to do in the immediate area as well as surrounding towns/cities. If you'd prefer to just relax, that's more than possible as well. Simply sitting out enjoying the sun set with the animals approaching the patio for treats is perfectly peaceful!! The neighbors are all kind too!!!
