Holiday rentals with a patio in Colombo

We had a nice stay with my family. The place is very comfortable stay and the host is quick to respond. The gym is excellent and there is a resident exercise physiologist on hand too. For a small fee they can also set up and help you follow a routing. This worked really well for my father, he was at the gym everyday. There is also a really nice view. The pool was kept very clean and we used it nearly everyday. The kitchen is fully equipped with excellent non-stick (healthy non-stick with no PIFA as I have at home) so we really liked this. There are a few excellent restaurants close by, great food, walking is possible but it really depends on you, but the roads to it may not be for everyone. But certainly excellent dining options. You can always order food to the apartment and it is very easy for delivery folks to find the place, so no issue there. Normally we stay in Colombo but this time we couldn't find a nice place, but this space turned out to be fantastic and served us well.

We stayed at Silunas AirBnb for one month and loved every day of it. It’s located in a beautiful, fairly quiet area yet everything you need is close by – many restaurants and a supermarket are in walking distance and getting to Colombo city center by car or trisho takes less than half an hour. We really loved the big terrace surrounded by palm trees, banana plants, cute chipmunks and fireflies at night. Towards the end of our stay we did however have a problem with a lot of ants inside of the apartment that seemed to be emerging out of nowhere despite not leaving any food out in the open. Overall though we really enjoyed our time in Silunas place and felt very much at home :)

We were happy with the place. The location was very pleasant as there are many good restaurants and cafes around it. The pool is an absolute plus. Internet is limited, but can be expanded upon demand.

A fantabulous stay that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and quality. Will definitely be returning. The fully-equipped open kitchen is a culinary dream – every appliance and utility you could imagine was right at your fingertips The overall cleanliness and organization were simply top-notch. As a bonus, the gym access was a major plus : the equipment was well-maintained. An Absolute Gem.

Talal was a great host who always responded promptly. I really appreciate his attendance on my needs. I highly recommended his unit which is great for a single or a couple.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was convenient for everything I needed. The amenities, especially the kitchen and Wi-Fi, were great. The only minor issue was the very limited number of movie channels on TV, but overall, I’d definitely stay here again.

Would highly recommend for a group of friends or family host was responsive and helped out in any request we had we enjoyed our stay and would be planning to go there soon

Suggestion, change main door lock and install 9000btu AC for leaving area.

This is my first Airbnb experience. The stay was just AMAZING. We stayed at the property for 7 days in March and we loved the property so much that we extended another couple of days. The property was as described, beautiful and comfortable. Most importantly, I have to appreciate the host, Chathura. Chathura was responsive, quick, kind and proactive. We felt extremely comfortable and my family was very grateful. My relatives visited us throughout the stay and they all commended the property. Whenever we visit Sri Lanka, we now have a place to stay. Thank you Chathura for the well maintained property and for answering all my queries throughout the stay. Well done and keep it up!!!

So glad my friends and I found a home away from home in Ja-ela. Stayed 8 days here. Angela was an amazing host. Location wise, it’s a small town so everything is accessible. Only a 15 minute drive from airport. Supermarket & convenience stores just 10 min ride away/20min walk. However, since the area is residential it’s very quiet and peaceful, some Uber drivers are not familiar with it so they would call first to confirm the location. Get familiar with the area so you can give directions to them. Overall it was clean, especially the toilet and bedrooms which is most important for me. 4 of us shared 2 beds. The living room & dining area are bigger than in the photos! Wifi was fast. Best part of it was that the host stayed right next to the villa, so she was available for anything we needed like gas for the stove or other supplies we needed. Was also very easy to communicate with her by text for help or recommendations. Planning to come back here in my next trip to Ja-ela.

This is the 3rd time we are staying at Namal’s beautiful home. As always Namal is a great host and excellent service and support. Sumudu is a great caretaker. This will be our go to place whenever we visit Sri Lanka. Thank you Namal

We booked 'A place' for a group of 6. The place was exactly as seen in pictures. 'Dilan' - the host was always available for questions. He gave us a good tour and encouraged to use all the amenities. The home caretaker 'Anusha' was on the property 24*7 and available to assist in the group activities and daily chores. We were also introduced to a local guide 'Champika' who virtually got everything done for us. Since, we didn't speak Singalese, Dilan and Champika made sure all our needs were taken care of. Over all: - Great place and Stay - Friendly and helpful Host - Excellent care taker and his availability - Very reliable and trustworthy people - No hidden charges or trying to squeez extra It was a wonderful experience over all. I highly recommend this place for a Professional meeting, Family or friends get together. Nice and Quite with access to the beach right there!! And most importantly - 'Friendly, trustworthy and reliabile' people for a stay in a foreign country!!!

This was our second stay at Mayurie’s place, and it truly feels like a second home for our family. The communication was friendly, and the stay was very comfortable. Highly recommended if you're visiting SriLanka for a holiday. It also offers easy access to High-Level Road and plenty of nearby restaurants.

Great place to stay if you want to be immersed in local life and beautiful surroundings. Very peaceful. It was close to several eateries. I went into Colombo and there were two bus stops within walking distance. It took a bit over an hour to go to Colombo fort via bus or about a 35/45min tuk tuk ride. I didn't mind it being far away. It's very close to the airport. The accommodation is incredibly spacious and comfortable. I especially enjoyed the balcony where I would eat some of my meals.

we six stayed at this apartment for 10 days. It was amazing, clean, well furnished as well as good responsive host and caretaker(Mr.Thiago). there is no con except a non air-conditioned room which was not mentioned in description clearly. If I visit colombo in future then I'll prefer to stay here again.

Amazing stay! Restaurants and location nearby from all places you’d wanna travel. Very spacious rooms and kitchen. Wifi kept conking off but guess that was due to the weather. there was no AC but a cooler unit kept in one of the rooms. Was our miss we didn’t catch this earlier but overall quite good stay and Shiffan was super helpful about everything and responsive as well! Cheers.

Was very pleased with finding this apartment as it was in a very convenient location making it easy to go to all the places we needed. The apartment is exactly like the pictures- the ideal size for a small family. Loved how elegantly it was furnished as well, and included all the amenities we required. It’s also fairly spacious for a one bedroom apartment which made it easy to keep our toddler. Eresha is a lovely host, very responsive to all my inquiries and very understanding to our needs. The security is also also very helpful and friendly, which made checking in a smooth process. Highly recommend this place and will definitely book again!

The place is same like the photos and was extremely clean. Its very peaceful and has a beautiful garden. The washing machine and the dryer was very helpful as we had a lot of clothes to be washed everyday as we were in Colombo for tennis. Would definitely stay again. The apartment is spacious, clean, there is linen, dishes, washing machine. The hot water is intermittent, the TV during our stay was only working the first day, but it wasn't needed, so we didn't reach out to the host. The host is always available, goes to a meeting, it was necessary to extend the stay - extension without any problems. Right next to the entrance is a great coffee shop with fast free internet. We recommend this place to stay.

This was the BEST place we stayed at for the entire trip in Sri Lanka, even though other locations were pretty good too. What made it different is the level of attention everything was given. it did not feel like renting out bnb, it is a fully furnished apartment that feels like home. every single thing is well thought out, and nothing lacks. it is simply a piece of heaven and most beautiful. highly recommend to anyone and wish we could have stayed longer. The host family went out of their way to help us around too. They even let us check out later because the flights were in the evening and rode us to the airport. my friend's review was that: - Well furnished apartment, great and considerate host family who make you feel at home - small details are attended to - Value for money and a joy to live in ...to say the least! thank you so much Anuka, Nilan and Janani for giving us a home away from home. Tusitha is a warm friendly and gracious host. The accommodation offered was comfortable, extremely clean and spacious - certainly for two adults. The assortment of grocery items enabled us to settle into the property with ease. There is adequate parking inside the property for a vehicle. Restaurant options close by are good. It was an absolute please to be at the Hope Residence for our short visit to Colombo. We would certainly stay here again, if the need arises. Thanks Tusitha for your warm hospitality.
