Cocoya is a working coconut and cinnamon plantation. Our house Sama means "Peace" in Sinhalese. It is designed to be a simple, open and spacious plantation home that connects with nature. It features an open living space, a kitchen and direct access to a 17m pool. Upstairs we have a master suite and junior bedroom that share a balcony with plantation views. Both have ensuite open-air showers. Guests enjoy a fully equipped kitchen and exclusive pool access. We do not have air-conditioning.

STAY at Ahangama

STAY at Ahangama is a 1950s built villa renovated to its current standard in 2016. The villa is very spacious and lets in plenty of light, especially in the main livingroom area. The villa features a middle courtyard with a fish pond and a pool with a deck to cool off the usually hot temperature in Galle. You can reach Ahangama beach within five minutes (walking), and Mirissa beach or Unawatuna beach in 20 minutes by vehicle. The Galle Fort is within a 25 minute drive from our property.

Tucked away in lush green, you will find the Cottage which is situation on the Kogalla lake, just 1 km away from the beach, and minutes away from Ahangama where you will find lots of entertainment and great surf spots. The Cottage is peaceful, private and quiet. Soak in the sounds of nature, watch birds pass by while the monkeys keep an healthy distance. Don’t forget to take a dip in our almost infinity pool and dine on our peer!

Four ladies stated at this villa for 3 nights. We felt right at home. Maia was very responsive & catered all that we need. A big shout out to Mr Mithun & Akash who was there to always help us with everything. The villa was exactly as in the pictures. Very private & lovely place to unwind. Highly recommend

It was just a dream. The villa and pool were super nice, there was water, coffee and milk. The beach a few minutes away was the most beautiful we saw in the two weeks in Sri Lanka. We would come back any time and were sad we only booked three nights.

Amazing! Stunning views, loved hearing the ocean at night, close to amazing restaurants/superb yoga/a lovely secret beach. My host went above and beyond trying to help me with my luggage that was lost by the airlines. Mallika, who took care of the property, was delightful, kind and helpful, a new friend for life! I give this place and my experience the highest possible rating. Thank you and I really hope to return one day!!!

A little paradise two minutes from the beach, we rented a scooter for €5 a day via the contacts of 4suns. The place is design, clean, and very welcoming. The open kitchen makes breakfast at home. A great surf spot a stone's throw away by scooter, a perfect spot for holidays:)
