The perfect vacation for us! Very quiet location, a lot of grounds outside. Pool very well maintained, extremely large! and Boulbahn and 3 sets of ball available. Sufficiently good sun loungers, even a double lounger. Super equipped kitchen, with everything you need, especially a lot of dishes and cutlery and lots of pots etc. Everything very clean and new. Lots of toys for children in the house and also for outside. Loving and tasteful furnishings. Thank you for a great holiday! We will be back

We liked everything in the house, nothing to point out! Calm and rural location. Great for a vacation. Very friendly hosts, attentive and available for any eventuality. They left us a welcome gift. Impeccable! Flexibility at checkout. Extremely clean and organized house. Fully equipped kitchen. Very nice pool and with the possibility of using the outside toilet. They have a wonderful porch for family meals on hot days. We have nothing negative to point out. Thanks to the hosts for this wonderful stay

yes, the owners helped us a lot to find the house. the environment was super peaceful. the house was very clean and great to stay. its rustic structure offered a wonderful accommodation experience. they ran for everything we needed and nothing was missing. we stayed safely and peacefully. In the morning, we greeted the day in our age, which opened towards the rice fields, we had breakfast with what they left for us and we walked on the beautiful streets and discovered nature. There are also instructions at home. Thank you

Comfortable and nice house for a large family or a group of friends. There was a lot of dishes, the kitchen is very comfortable. There were many interesting things in the garage, for example, rafts, on which we sailed on the river. Nice dining area outside. The host is hospitable and always in touch. Everything is great!

We were 3 families, 6 adults and 6 children, and I have to say that the house is spacious, clean and modern. It's one of the few houses that the photos don't do justice, it's much better when you arrive. Jose was very friendly when we entered, he showed us around and explained all the features of the house, and when we left he was very friendly. I really recommend it 100%. We even had a Christmas tree, a nice touch, and the pool was super clean, although we didn't swim, and there's a barbecue.

Hello Mr. Pedro! We would like to thank you for all the hospitality during our stay at your accommodation in Póvoa Dão. We were delighted with the space – it's quiet, well cared for and the pool was a real luxury in these hot days! It was wonderful to be able to bring our dog Escobar, who also loved the environment and the outdoor space. It is increasingly rare to find such beautiful places that accept animals so naturally. Very nice stay at Joana's place. You feel like visiting your relatives. Surroundings are much better than photo's are showing. Yard is surounded in close hills with forests. Big tranquility and very close to Coimbra. 2,5-3 km to local supermarket and good quality restaurants. Everybody have to take into account that owners live in the same house in upper floors, so sometimes they are passing same yard, but they are trying minimise disturbing your privacy as much as possible. Joana shared ecology egg's from her yard it was wonderfull. They are dog lovers as we are and our dog's felt comfortably with their dog's which they owning or supporting in the area. Best wishes to Joana and we would be happy to visit again.

We loved the space, the pool water is heated so when it was windy, it was better to be in the water than out. The area surrounding the pool is also very pleasant. We fell in love with the inflatable unicorn and loved meeting 🐶 the friendly dogs and cats in the neighborhood. The game room was fantastic, we loved the pool, the air-hockey sometimes got a little stuck but it was excellent, the ping-pong also delighted us and the giant screen made all the difference in our marathon series evenings. Andy is fantastic, attentive, helpful, friendly and very welcoming. We were 4 people, one with reduced mobility and in acute pain crisis in the kneecap and this one could not enjoy so much because there are stairs to climb to the house, inside it to the room and outside also to the game room.

Beautiful private spot. Paul was amazingly helpful and communicative, any queries answered immediately but also he didnt invade our personal space. Perfect balance. Amazing host. Very relaxed and the house had all the amenities we could want. Definitely recommend.

great location, was good for one night

Andrea and Bruno are pleasant and charming people The property itself is spacious, and renovated to a very high standard. The yard is pleasant and spacious, we picked some mint and some lemon verbena. The view from the balcony is heart-warming. As parents of a small child, we were a little afraid of the stairs, and indeed it was challenging, but good handrails and a pair of gates to block access to the stairs from above really made it easier to cope (the stairs to the lower floor we just blocked permanently because we did not use this floor). The apartment is full of games for children, and our two-and-a-half-year-old daughter enjoyed it very much. The fresh bread and the quality coffee that Bruno left for us completed the experience. The location of the settlement is a little far from the river, and everywhere you need to drive first on the winding road down the hill. But the charming beach of Avo is 8 minutes away, so it's not really a big deal. In short, we will return again and with great joy, thank you Bruno and Andrea, we will be happy to meet you in Coimbra as well.

Was a perfect stay for us. Apartment locations is the best. Not far from the old town, but in the same time in a very quiet area. Apartment is stylish and comfortable.

I was looking for a private, welcoming and naturalistic environment. The experience was undoubtedly very worthwhile. David was really nice. He gave us access to an equipped kitchen, the bungalow part, and made us feel super comfortable, which made us feel at home. In addition, in the morning we were surprised with a beautiful breakfast, which stood out for the delicious pancakes. We'll definitely be back. Thank you David!

We loved Alcides place! One of the Airbnbs we will be repeating for sure (out of dozens across the world); the scenery is just stunning; house is well equipped; Alcides was super friendly, flexible and responsive. Great host. Quickly answers to any questions. We were greeted with a drink typical of the city of Coimbra, and the hostess also left us coffee capsules. The apartment was clean and was just like the photos. The location is excellent!
