Cabin holiday rentals in Cloudland

This was the perfect place to relax!! The sunsets and scenery around the cabin are better in person than in the pictures posted. My husband and I were there to celebrate our 35th anniversary. We enjoyed slow mornings with breakfast on the front porch overlooking the valley. Sight seeing each day and then getting back early enough to enjoy the sunset in the hot tub. We enjoyed exploring the Desoto Falls area and Little River Canyon. We drove to Chattanooga and visited Rock City and Ruby Falls. Angie was so sweet to make us a reservation at The Elevation Bistro. Elevation is a quaint little restaurant with an outstanding chef. My favorite was the French onion soup and my husband loved his hamburger. We both thought the pecan praline bread pudding was next level. This was probably the most relaxing and enjoyable vacation I’ve had in a while. Spend the extra money on a good view….its well worth it!!

We loved our stay! We loved the view from the back porch, on a foggy morning the clouds were low so it totally felt like we were above the clouds and knew why it was called cloudland. We loved watching and listening to a thunderstorm from the screened in porch. The hottub, jacuzzi tub, and Sauna were such great amenities! We will be back !

This was exactly what we were looking for-a clean, comfortable place with a beautiful view and mountain feel on our way to Savannah to visit family. The weather was perfect for one of the days, and the other day it was rainy and foggy, but we spent that day going to Ruby Falls. It cleared up in the afternoon. We spent evenings around the fire pit in which wood was provided and we brought our own outdoor chairs that were more comfortable than the benches provided. We also grilled out using the grill on the property, and there were plenty of silverware, dishes, glasses, pots and pans etc. Everything was just as pictured. All in all, a wonderful getaway. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you to Fred, our host.

Chris and Suzy were super kind and responded to questions within 20 minutes. We travel with our goldendoodle and they were super accommodating to welcome him to stay in the cabin as well. They had family board games and great WiFi service. The cabin was wonderful and just what we expected for a relaxing trip. Its located near Cloudland Canyon State Park which has spectacular views of the mountains, canyon and waterfalls along easy to strenuous hiking trails. The hot tub was a perfect end to each day. It is close enough to Chattanooga for great dining and sightseeing around the city. I definitely recommend staying here.

We loved our stay here! Walked in to a clean and comfortable environment with an amazing view. Conveniently located to Cloudland Canyon and Lula Lake Land Trust. Plenty of space for my dog as well. Really enjoyed having a cup of coffee on the deck watching the fog. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We fell in love the moment we turned up the drive! Perfect private property and wonderful host! 10/10 highly recommend! We will for sure be coming back!!!!

One of the most beautiful places to stay in Northern Alabama. Bubba was extremely helpful. Property is incredible.

The AirBNB far exceeded my expectations. Sandy and her husband accommodated our every need! They made check in easy and allowed us to come earlier than anticipated. They left farm fresh eggs, bread, fruit and snacks to enjoy while we were there. The property itself was absolutely beautiful, we enjoyed porch sitting and visiting with their cat (jack). Unfortunately the weather didn't hold out and we ran out of time to fully explore all of the property but I have a feeling we will be back in the future!

We loved our stay! We were here for a wedding close by, and this was so much closer than the alternative hotels. More importantly, Cyndi stocked the place with everything we could have needed. We especially loved the goats and Sampson the dog. Our stay here made our trip relaxed and enjoyable.

We have stayed in quite a few AirBnBs and this one is in our top 3 without a doubt! It was super clean. This place has all the little things you can think of (cooking oil, tin foil, baby high chair, etc.). The hosts left us snacks tailored for us and gave us a small gift as a keepsake of our stay in Mentone, AL. If you are wondering if it is worth the stay, I can 100% tell you it is. Eva should put on a Master Class of how to be an AirBnB host!!! Can't say enough good things about this stay!!!

From the moment we arrived, the cottage seemed to emerge from a dream—blanketed in soft, ethereal fog, nestled among trees, facing the dramatic beauty of Rock Bluff. Stepping out of the car, we were greeted by the dewy, sweet scent of chamomile in the air. Just from the outside we were all completely charmed by the cottage. We were in town for a wedding at the McLemore Resort. The cottage was just 5 minutes away. There were thoughtful touches throughout, including some delightful surprises: a bidet, for one! blow dryer, iron/ironing board, plenty of towels, earplugs in the bedside tables, etc. The hosts were kind and flexible, even allowing us a bit of extra time at checkout so we could recover and regroup the morning after the wedding. It was such a generous gesture, and one our entire group really appreciated. We would highly recommend this home and are already looking forward to booking it again to further explore this beautiful area!

Can't say enough good things about our stay at Sydney's place. Everything was so inviting and the whole place was very relaxing. We felt right at home. Sydney has thought of everything, and then some! We felt very comfortable and welcome. Wish we could have stayed longer. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

Cute and charming! This place was just as described and the views were amazing. We enjoyed the privacy and peaceful setting. Our favorite part of the cabin was the outdoor firepit and seating area. Bobby was a great host. His communication is very detailed so we knew just what to expect. Would definitely recommend this place to others.

This cabin, is a slice of heaven wrapped in wood and wrapped again in vibes. It’s peaceful, transcendent even. Impeccable design; styled so well I started questioning every room of my own house. Every room looks like it was curated by a team of chipmunks trained at Parsons. But here’s the twist, the windows. Huge, panes of glass so clear, even mother nature was confused. The local birds? Not so much fans. They kept dive bombing the house like they were trying to stage a feathery coup. We lost count. Seriously, it was like living in a Disney princess movie… if the birds were drunk and had no spatial awareness. Still, it was the most serene, beautiful, refreshing stay we’ve ever had. We will be back. Highly recommend!

My husband and I wanted to get away for our 1 year anniversary and found Dawn's place close to all the hikes we wanted to go to in Fort Payne. Super cute and cozy however I will say if you are older with not so good knees, it will definitely be hard to climb the steep stairs to the bed (even us young folks struggled to get up & down.) Also not many places to lounge inside other than the bed. Couch is small & firm but reasonable for the space inside. Definitely a cute airbnb close enough to Little River Canyon Falls & Desoto State Park!

We enjoyed our stay. The cabin looked just like the photos. It was nice, clean, and very welcoming. The sunsets off the back porch were stunning. We will definitely stay here again.

Was there for a wedding at Whispering pines farm in Calhoun. The area was very nice. The cabin was very private and peaceful. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying around that area, and would definitely stay again.

We were looking for a cabin in the woods to decompress, and we found it. Just what we wanted

This was our second time staying out in this area here and loved it just as much as the first time! It’s such a great place to get away too and be able to unwind and relax from the stresses of everyday life. The place is so quiet and peaceful especially with being right on a private lake can’t beat it for anything. Will definitely be visiting again in the future!

Huge private home sitting in a tucked away piece of paradise that any age will enjoy!! If approved you could park10 +vehicles on gravel pad. This is an older home with alot of history, but it is a beautiful gem and works great for multi family gathering or an intimate wedding, anniversary, proposal. The beds are WONDERFUL. The only suggestion is replace the main house living room rug,due to the fibers and fuzz balls it releases in the air when walked on. The last suggestion is maybe a few upgraded pans and kitchen utensils in kitchen. I understand its a Rental and people take and break, but new kitchenware,mixing bowls ect. is a big deal to a family chief when needing in the moment. we definitely look forward to visiting this home& guest house again in the future.
