Spacious renovated apartment in the garden behind our 19th century Victorian house with its own entrance along the side path. Close to several parks, swimming pool/gym/tennis complex, and Queens Parade shopping strip. The neighbourhood is 4 km from the Melbourne CBD, and 100 meters from 86 tram to city and train station, and bus line along Hoddle Street. All this provides easy access to city, MCG, Rugby Stadium, Tennis Centre, Theatres and NGV. We are empty nesters with a kelpie dog, Peppy.

Cosy inner city loft with the comforts of home

Studio loft, fully self-contained, with ensuite, with a netgear mesh system for full wireless coverage. Also, a washing machine and kitchenette. It is a perfect nest for one. Entry is private via the back gate. Backyard is a delightful setting for shared use. Extremely close to train, tram, and buses and the best parkland in Melbourne. Located in inner city, with pubs and cafes and cinema in easy walking distance, yet is surrounded by trees and close to the Merri path and Capital City Trail.

This is a beautiful little spot in a convenient part of Melbourne - tram and trains very close as is a choice of cafes, restaurants and shops. Vicki and John were very helpful when they heard I wasn’t well - that was appreciated. Next time I stay I will be hoping for better health and warmer weather!

Perfect for Young Families – Right Beside a Beautiful Park We had a wonderful stay at this apartment — it’s absolutely ideal for young families. One of the best parts is its location right next to Darling Gardens, which became a daily ritual for us. We took our young son there every morning; it’s a peaceful, leafy space full of birds, nature, and open lawns — a real gem in the heart of Melbourne. The apartment itself is spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. While it was a bit cold during our stay, the provided oil heaters kept things warm and cozy. A huge bonus was the shared washing area, which made laundry easy. There was also had a lovely selection of toys and games for kids — a thoughtful touch that made our stay even more family-friendly. We would happily recommend this place to anyone visiting Melbourne, especially families looking for a safe, quiet, and nature-filled home base. Would definitely recommend.

This is one of the very best Airbnb’s I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying in. Hugo’s place is so beautiful, comfortable and well thought out. Immaculate attention to detail and everything you could ever need. The views are spectacular- even better than the photos. Beds so comfy and spotlessly clean. Also do not go past the pizza shop just down the road for a meal it was fantastic. Can’t wait to come back.
