Holiday rentals with breakfast in City of Carlisle

Lovely place just outside Dumfires. It is located on a quite street, but easily accessible. The place is nice and spacious - better than how it looks in the photos. Ann is super friendly and responsive and has stocked the place with all essentials including basic groceries (butter, milk, break, juice).

We loved our stay with Patricia and Allen, they were very kind and helpful, letting us keep our bikes inside the house, and spotting us when we arrived in the village early and inviting us over. They also recommended a local pub in the next village for dinner which was walkable and served great food, as their local pub isn't serving food at the moment. The room was cosy, the bed was comfy, and they served a fabulous cooked breakfast. We would highly recommend staying at their place!

The apartment is great and very comfortable, and had everything we needed for a good stay. The area is beautiful and we enjoyed walks to the lakes and also to trails which can be accessed from the from the front door.

We had a fantastic stay at Karen's cottage. Lovely garden, very peaceful if you like the farm life atmosphere. Karen provided a variety of breakfast cereals which were very much appreciated. Highly recommend staying at the cottage in Holywood 🙂

A lovely, cosy cottage that had everything we needed and made us feel right at home. We really appreciated the helpful welcome pack and extra touches. Jontti was great communication-wise. We loved our stay and were sorry to say goodbye to the Gamekeeper's Cottage. Hopefully we'll get a chance to re-visit again.

A beautiful retreat in a beautiful part of the world. A great place for a meeting amongst friends. Plenty of space, extra blankets for cold nights and a fire to keep warm. An amazing authentic experiences which was loved by all of us. This was a place to remember. Thanks.

It was a great experience staying at this place. Both Marcus and Vinietta were on top of their job, explaining everything in detail and oh man the interiors of the house is extraordinary, unique, antique thats how one can describe. Overall a good stay, worth the money.

Thanks Liz for a lovely stay. The bedroom was beautiful and much larger than we were expecting. We appreciated having our own bathroom, and the bed was comfortable. Having breakfast and fruit provided was an added bonus which we really enjoyed! The location was perfect, in a beautiful quiet street. We loved exploring Hexham and the Roman sites, and highly recommend this property. Liz was a lovely host. A great stay, thank you.

Exceptional! The accommodation was spacious, quirky in a good way, surprisingly well equipped, and no expense spared. Our host Ivan was extremely helpful and a pleasure to talk to. We plan to return!

A beautiful apartment. Very stylish. Parking in front of the house. The host greeted us in person - something I appreciate very much. We got recommendations for dining ( the Beaumont Hotel - very good). supermarket next door. We had 2 lovely days in Hexham.

Booked a last minute one night stay here for Valentine’s Day, the apartment / annex suite was absolutely perfect. It had everything you could need for a comfortable stay, dog friendly with your own private garden and a fully equipped kitchen. Extremely clean and spacious. The b&b is close to the main high street with shops restaurants and pubs. Sue is an exceptional host and made sure everything was an easy pleasant stay, with flexibility around breakfast arranging for a continental breakfast hamper on arrival so that we didn’t have to leave the apartment, and flexibility due to availability for a late check out. It’s a lovely area with plenty to do and see, we did three lovely local walks (gibsons cave, low force waterfall and high force waterfall) all just a 8-10 min drive from the b&b and Sunday lunch at high force hotel which was great too. We would definitely stay here again when visiting the area and wished we’d had longer! 110% recommend.

we know the area fairly well, and our usual place wasn't available on the dates we needed. this was perfect for our stay. The fluffy towels and great shower were lovely. basic supplies provided, and a chocolate cake :-) Bed is very comfortable too, we slept extremely well The local pub was recommended, The Stag Inn, Dufton and we had already booked ahead, for our first meal. (sirloin steak and corned beef and onion pie) We had a roast in The Mason's Arms in Long Marton on Sunday evening with our friends and it was delicious. 2 years since our last meal in there and it lived up to our expectations. we would stay here again.

We had a fantastic stay in the Buttermere Suite. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean and the location was perfect. Walking distance to the lake, shops and great restaurants. The fridge in the room was a great addition for storing snacks and drinks and was replenished daily with a fresh bottle of milk and orange juice. Check in and check out was easy and the parking permit was a definite bonus. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Thank you for a great weekend.

Amazing apartment, looked exactly like the pictures and had everything I needed for my stay. Was in a quiet location and within walking distance of local shops and the train station. The complimentary breakfast at Jay's cafe was delicious everyday. I would definitely stay in this apartment again if I am ever back in the area and would recommend to friends and family.

Brilliant place to stay. Didn't meet the owners but they told us everything we needed to know and we had no issues at all. Was exactly what we expected from the description and we haven't laughed so much playing ping pong when we got back in from the very local pub. Thanks for everything. X

We had a fantastic stay at Jacquie and David’s AirBnB! Both were incredibly personable, friendly, and welcoming! It really felt like staying with old friends. The rooms were spotless, cosy, and full of charm, and the breakfast was absolutely spot on; a perfect way to start each day. The area is stunning too, peaceful and picturesque with lots to explore nearby. Their warmth and hospitality made our visit truly memorable. Would definitely stay again!

Had a great stay. BnB had everything we needed. Great location. Wonderful host. Andy made us feel very welcome and at home. Very friendly, happy to chat and share his knowledge/ answer questions about the local area. Enjoyed the breakfast. Andy continuously offering more tea and coffee :) would definitely stay again if returning to that area.

Me and a group of friends stayed here over Easter and it was the most incredible place. Anton and Penny were so helpful and lovely. The complimentary breakfast and food at the pub was so delicious and the yurt was so cosy, clean and well put together. Would definitely come back to this Airbnb. Penrith was a 15 minute drive away and the village was very picturesque. Would recommend this place to anyone wanting a relaxing stay with some very helpful hosts

Wendy and Tony were fantastic hosts, and they made us feel totally at home. The location is so special, right on the Cumbria Way. We are so grateful for all the extra help - notably a request for porridge for breakfast before a race I had, and helping me to dry out my shoes afterwards!

Great stay in Mark's lovely home, very close to kielder observatory. really friendly hosts and gorgeous border collie! easy to find with helpful instructions and gorgeous surroundings- would definitely stay again

Our stay at Rob & Becky’s was lovely! A great location, very close to buses and the train station. The room itself was very tidy and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was also wonderful and a great way to start a day of exploring the area.

Lage: wer am Hadrians Wall Way wandert muss nur am Weg abbiegen und ist in ca. I 50 Meter am Ziel. Optimal. Unterkunft: man hat die Unterkunft fuer sich alleine, keine anderen Gaeste. Es ist sehr sauber und gemuetlich. Das Zimmer ist relativ klein aber es gibt einen Aufenthaltsraum mit herrlichen Ausblick. Im Schlafzimmer hat man einen Ausblick auf die Wiesen mit Kuehen. Es ist sehr ruhig, kein Verkehr. Die Matratze ist sehr gut. Essen: Das Abendessen ( 3 Gaenge Menue) war hervorragend. Dazu gibt es kuehle Getraenke. Nach einer langen Wanderung einfach perfekt. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Jayne und Karl sind sehr freundliche Gastgeber

My second visit to stay at Penny's, she is always a very welcoming and a friendly host with a great local knowledge and super helpful advice. The rooms are compfortable, clean and well presented, I slept like a baby! If I come back to Penrith again I will look to stay here everytime 👌
