Family-friendly holiday rentals in Citrus Hills

It was our first trip to Florida for a month. The place was everything it said and more. From the beautiful home, beautiful backyard with pool, hot tub and soaker tub I felt like I was at a spa. The backyard was so private. We had bikes to use and we did take advantage. We rode our bikes to the main square several times. Jennifer was very pleasant and friendly. She responded to my questions/ comments in a very efficient manner. I would recommend the place. Give a 5 star+++

We could not have asked for a better host or lovely home to meet up with life long friends. The home was beyond well appointed, with all one may need and more. The pool was lovely and surrounding covered lanai with a large dining table and seating area with a large outdoor sectional and a small tv to stay in touch with what’s going on in the world are worth the price alone. The multiple seating areas are perfect for multi generational groups, as are the bedrooms essentially being on two opposite wings of the home is also a nice perk. All and all a beautifully well maintained home, better appointed than 99% of all rentals I’ve stayed in, impeccably clean, with the kindest, responsive, and accommodating host you could wish for. I would certainly stay again and recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Stayed at this lakehouse many times over the past few years and it never disappoints. Great house, location, and host! Best place to make awesome memories and enjoy the lake!

We enjoyed staying with family to visit my brother who lives close by. The house was comfortable and was perfect for having a nice dinner, the kitchen was well equipped with all the essentials! We are sad we had to leave early to escape getting caught by the hurricane but we would definitely visit again! Hendrick is an attentive host and was amazing at answering any questions we had about our stay!

The host was very helpful with any questions or concerns that we had during our stay. We enjoyed the pool and the spacious living room with our family. All bedrooms have plenty of space in them as well.

I believe this is our 7th year staying at the Coastal Cracker House. Great host and accommodations every year.

Robyn was an absolutely amazing host. She really made as feel at home. She helped with local recommendations. The house is really nice with gorgeous views in a beautiful neighborhood.

My husband and I were in need of a quick getaway. We found Donna's place and knew this was exactly what we were looking for. It was in close proximity of Rainbow Springs (where we wanted to visit) and was pet friendly. The house was clean (all hardwood/tile flooring), spacious (open floor plan), nicely decorated, furniture in great condition & comfortable, fenced in yard for the pups, on the river, and had everything we needed! We enjoyed the quiet evenings out back on the deck & in the screened in porch and the pups loved exploring the yard. We cooked breakfast & lunch at the home and explored the town for dinner. We did not get to use the kayaks or bikes but loved that they were available. Donna answered all my questions and was very accommodating to my dates. I would definitely book this home again and recommend to others! Thank you!

The location is perfect. Right next to Roger’s park and The Upper Deck Restaurant. Easy to kayak to the springs.

Great place to stay with pets. Neighborhood felt comfortable. Close to lots of things. Joan Marie was helpful and responded quickly. Would definitely stay there again!

Leslie was very responsive. The setting is private and the covered deck on rainy days wonderful to relax on. Leslie provided much appreciated extras like healthier cooking pans, sharp knives, a cutting board, and a medicine kit which are not usually provided in my years of experience. A word of caution apparently regarding airbnb policy. Check for potential price changes on your reservation Even IF you are subtracting something!!! Because I didn’t end up taking my dog with (deleting the pet fee), it changed my reservation and a $142.20 increase (county tax fee) was added! 😱

Our stay was very comfortable, just like we were in our own homes. The Lodge was so unique!! Hope to stay there again.

The home was perfect and so clean! The pool and the on site kayaks were all amazing. Joan was very kind and responded quickly with any questions we had. I highly recommend this home!

We booked the Flamingo House with Gale and Teri for our honeymoon and it did not disappoint. Quiet location within 3-5 mins of a dozen restaurants, activities, sights to see, and stores for essentials. They left a great list of reccomendations for the area and the house was super clean and beautiful. Plenty of space for a whole family and the screened in pool was the icing on the cake. We were able to go do things we wanted and then come back and relax in the sun by the pool and I dont think we ever even saw a neighbor all week. The wife and I have already decided if we can take another trip to Crystal River and surrounding area we will be returning to the Flamingo House!

The home is beautiful and has everything you need. The pool is amazing. Check in and out was easy and Dena gave me great advice for where to play pickleball. The neighbors were super friendly too!

Gorgeous property, my friends and I loved it. They have automatic lights outside that help you find it easily at night and the outdoor cameras are an additonal sense of safety. We were all very impressed with the extras, greeted with a welcome package and plenty of stuff in the kitchen/bedrooms/lanai to make it a home. The beds and sofas are incredibly comforable as well as clean. It was amazing to be able to adjust the temp to our liking being new englanders, definitely our oasis in the summer heat. This place is worth a stay and we will certainly be back!

Really excellent place this. Has everything you need and probably more. Good bikes, Golf Cart, extensively equipped kitchen. Also great value for money. Will definitely return but likely yo be booked up. You need to move fast

Another outstanding trip to rainbow river and the maple street house as we have started to call it. Third time staying there and we will be back!! The house and the host are great!!!

Gorgeous house in a beautiful location. We loved staying here and saw tons of wildlife in the river from the nearby dock. The beds were also super comfortable. We will definitely stay here again when we visit the area.
