Cabin holiday rentals in Church Stretton

We had an amazing few days at a pretty unique setting. Very different to anywhere we’ve stayed previously and a real novelty for the kids! The wood fired hot tub had already been fired up so by the time we settled in, had a drink, did some exploring (and den building!) it was ready for us to take an evening dip. The setting is stunning - private but accessible and Tam was on hand for anything we needed. Would 100% recommend and would definitely come back.

We had a lovely time at Rachel's home in Bleddfa. The house is surrounded by beautiful countryside and had everything we needed. The kitchen is well equipped and the bedrooms have lovely views and a delight to wake up to. From the dining table you can watch the visiting birds on the bird feeder we even had a wood pecker visit. Fabulous to use the hot tub in the evening which was lovely and warm. Great to watch the sheep and we made a friend of Taff the very tame sheep who enjoyed a biscuit or 2. We visited the Elan Valley area, devils bridge and the kite feeding at Gigrin Farm. Lovely long weekend really enjoyed the home and will definitely visit again.

We couldn't recommend thise place more highly. We had a brilliant and peaceful, also very enjoyable few days away. It was very clean and had everything you would need for a stay away. Sharon and Dave, the hosts are lovely and go out their way to make your time there as fantastic as possible. We will definitely be returning.

Loved every minutes of the our stay. We were a big group and everything was well thought out. From chairs for 8 people indoors and outdoors to hangers in wardrobes, cutlery and picnic cutlery it was amazing! The folder with recommended places food etc was also a lifesaver and excellent wifi Would definitely recommend also the lambs were so cute.

One of the best AirBnb’s we’ve stayed in. The accommodation is stunning and the pictures don’t even do it justice. So beautifully designed and having a BBQ down by the river was a real highlight. Would recommend to anyone!

We had a perfect stay at Harp Meadow in Presteigne. It was spotlessly clean, well-equipped with everything we needed, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We especially loved the outdoor space—the BBQ area was great for evening meals, and the hot tub was a real highlight, perfect for relaxing and taking in the peaceful surroundings. A lovely extra touch was the lemon drizzle cake left by the host—it was delicious and much appreciated! You can really tell how much thought and care has gone into making this place special. We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful countryside escape.

We absolutely loved this place from the moment we opened the door. Everything from the meticulously sourced textiles/crockery etc that matched the setting so well to the detail in finish of the cabin etc has been SO well thought out. It was the perfect place to recuperate and relax in nature. We saw so much wildlife- even just from the bedroom window! As soon as we walked in we saw deer just behind the cabin, rabbits, foxes, woodpeckers, red kites…the list goes on. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets a stride away. The icing on the cake was the wood fired tub which was unbelievable! On our last night we had the most peaceful, still and clear night, meaning that we could see the most incredible amount of stars! Cannot recommend this air BnB enough and Trish was the perfect host. A lovely welcome with personal touches, attentive and friendly host. Thanks so much for such a great stay!

This little break away was perfect for my partners 40th birthday. It was our first little break since having a baby and it was like home from home. The area was beautiful and private and the lodge was super clean. We’d definitely return for longer next time.

What an amazing place! We’ve just came home from our ‘minimoon’ after getting married and it was the PERFECT location. Views- amazing. Cabin- amazing. Hot tub- amazing. We had 2 resident peacocks every day on our drive way- they were so entertaining! Then our cabin was looking over a field of lambs, fields of horses and cows in the distance, squirrels and lots of little birds feeding from the bird feeder outside- just mesmerising to watch them all. Total relaxation- a little hidden gem! Lovely little walk every day with our dog, around the gorgeous woodland and then visited the horses in the fields who were always happy for a stroke! Can’t wait to come back for our 1st anniversary! Thank you ❤️

The stay we had a the Cabin was our first time away together. The cabin was spotless and the scenery was magical. The whole experience was just perfect and I couldn’t recommend this place enough. Thank you so much.

The cabin was a perfect place to escape reality for a week, rest and relax! It is well equipped considering the size and Tim provided plenty of information on what to see and do in the area. We had the most relaxing week and would love to come back one day!

We loved our stay here, and being surrounded by the horses. The cabin was cosy and comfy! The views were very pretty, the area was peaceful, and there was a nice outdoor space to chill in! Wed love to come back sometime!

Excellent cabin, has everything you need, the garden area is amazing. Only booked one night ended up staying 3 nights. Definitely return at some point.

Thanks to Charlotte and Chris for amazing hospitality. Our second stay at Forest Lodge, returning in recognition of an excellent location for exploring and facilities, Lodge exactly as described with great facilities and super clean with freshly laundered linen and towels. Super comfy beds including the coveted bedroom overlooking the trout lake where French doors can be opened to offer uninterrupted views of waterfowl on the lake and horses in the distance. Home made cake and a jug of fresh milk greeted us after the drive from Surrey and there was a supply of tea, coffee and sugar too. Nothing too much trouble, personal recommendations much appreciated including an invitation to join the village celebrate VE Day 80 at the lighting of a beacon. We can't wait to go back for another wonderful stay with excellent hosts.

Really nice cabin. Good layout inside. Roomy sitting area and lovely log burner. Quiet and peaceful setting in elevated position. Nice shower and kitchen area. Clean and comfortable.

We stayed at Mynd View pod for two night and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. The pod was clean, cozy and had everything we needed. Waking up to the stunning views of the landscape and the sheep gazing through the meadows were such a treat! A special must go Becky and Steve, who were incredibly welcoming and kind. They were friendly, responsive and clearly passionate about making guests feel at home. We are looking forward to returning and will surely recommending it to our friends.

My partner and I had a fantastic time at Ricky and Louise's property. Would highly recommend staying there. Extremely well looked after and everywhere was immaculate. 10 out of 10.

A great holiday and the whole family thoroughly enjoyed staying there. The children loved having an open space to play whilst also being able to see so many animals on the farm. Hele was an excellent host and was so friendly to all of us, with lots of suggestions about activities. We would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to have a peaceful holiday for all of the family in a beautiful setting.

So much thought and effort has gone into making this place very special. It is set in an old orchard so you are surrounded by wildlife with incredible birdsong at dusk and in the early morning. It is near the Worcestershire Way so we had some lovely walks from the door. Very well set up camp fire with all the kit for cooking in the evenings, and the baths over the stream were fun! Would love to return.
