Very tidy, spacious, and comfortable family home with everything you need. Plenty of off-street parking. Easy to get to from Christchurch airport. No fuss entry. Easy 5 minute walk to town centre for cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, takeout, and retail. Timely communication from host. Very enjoyable stay!

Min’s place was absolutely gorgeous! One of our favorite Air BnBs we’ve stayed in - it was perfectly clean and extremely charming. The location was great for walking into town and provided parking which can be hard to come by in Christchurch. We had some trouble getting in (to no fault of Min) and the host arrived very quickly to help us out. Be sure to wave your hand over the screen for the entrance code, instead of gently touching it.

Second time staying with Denise at the lovely beach house and as before , we had a wonderful time. Especially loved the personal touch with a note to welcome us on arrival. Thank you!

Fantastic, comfortable, cosy and clean place with amazing views. We loved the big sunny deck and generously sized master suite. Excellent off street parking and a great location within easy reach of the city centre. Highly recommended!

A great, spacious apartment and well located. Comfortable and modern, with both air conditioning and a gas fire. We were able to get parking most of the time, and when it was full, still parked conveniently on the road outside the apartment. A small issue with the kitchen sink tap was handled quickly and efficiently. A great place to stay and we would have no hesitation in recommending or returning next time we’re over in Christchurch.

We came together as a family to this home to celebrate Christmas. It was a beautiful place with stunning views. We could easily make dinners from scratch using all the kitchen equipment included in the home. One note for future AirBnb'ers to this property, the cleaning instructions are rather extensive along with the $160+ USD cleaning fee tagged onto the booking.

our stay was wonderful. the daily views from the windows was spectacular. The apartment is exactly as described and Devon's responsiveness to our minor questions was super prompt. The location is perfect as it is close to everything, and especially since Hagley park was right next to us. I would highly recommend this apartment for families of between 2 and 6 people. We loved our stay.

We have never stayed somewhere as incredible. We were nervous being on someone’s property but Steve is absolutely amazing. Super kind and left us to our own devices after checking in. The fireplace was absolutely worth every penny. The bed was beyond cozy (especially with the heated blanket). The luxury features really elevated the space. The bathroom floor is heated along with a heated towel rail. The shower and bath are even more stunning in person and the vibe in the backyard is phenomenal. He even has a parking space right up to your gate so parking is super simple. We will most definitely be back here! This is where we will aim to stay anytime we visit in ski season seeing as Methven is only a 30ish minute drive (a stunning drive at that). The lights also, so fancy and smooth. No glaring lights early in the morning. It allows for a nice slow start to the morning. And the back veranda also has an awning which meant that we could chill back there without the morning sun! We had a lovely mums stay at this accomodation, the host was great to deal with, we even got to check in slightly earlier than expected! The house was immaculate, it would be great in there was an iron available for use, and the two king beds were quite hard, but other than that it was a beautiful house, very warm on a very cold weekend with beautiful views!

Maree hosts a fantastic, beautiful, comfortable renovated villa home in a superb location that remains private and serene. She was a great host and I could not recommend staying here highly enough.

This house has everything you need...exceptionally well equipped in the kitchen, very spacious for 6 people , warm and quiet . The weather was moist for most of our stay but we all loved the sound of the stream running through the side of the property and all the lovely trees and birds!!Would definitely go back .

We enjoyed 2 lovely nights with the fire roaring that Steve had put on before we arrived. Steve is very friendly and great with communicating. The house is clean and a very peaceful location. Great to get away from the city. We highly recommend and will be back.

We have just come home from a fabulous 2 nights in Wainui at Caro's house. We were 7 Ladies. There was plenty of room for all of us and the beds were super comfy and warm. The weather was horrendous for our weekend, but that didn't matter at all. The views over the Akaroa Heads with the weather coming in was spectacular. Caro had lit the fire for us for our arrival which was very much appreciated. The kitchen is very well equipped and there is a dining table in the kitchen area as well as the lounge room. The hydrangea's in the garden are beautiful. We absolutely loved staying here and will definitely be back. We would love to arrange a summer vacation so we can sit out on the verandah in the sun. Highly recommend Caro's house. Thank you Caro. Your communication was excellent and we really appreciated the late check out.

Big house but a bit old the wash basin in one bathroom was cracked needs replacing.

Lovely old cottage tucked away at the end of a road. Easy walk through Hagley Park to the town centre. There was everything we needed to feel at home. Very clean throughout. Particularly enjoyed the cosy lounge to chill at the end of busy days in Christchurch. Roomy bedrooms and a great kitchen too. John gave us useful tips on getting the best from our stay. Highly recommend Brockworth Cottage.
