Kate and Johnny were perfect hosts. Let us be but always instantly available. They have lots of knowledge of the area. Very friendly and welcoming. We appreciated fresh bread, fruit and spreads for breakfast. Quiet and picturesque setting from our deck and in the spa looking down over the beach. Walkable distance into town albeit a steep but manageable path. Bed was super comfy. We weren’t doing activities in CBD but driving around all areas east. Thank you both. We will recommend.

Thank you for hosting us Felicia, we had a wonderful stay. The studio was clean, tidy, and well stocked with pots, pans, microwave, two burner electric portable, cooking element and on bench convection oven. Only thing missing was a hair dryer. Your communication was prompt, spot-on, and extremely helpful with information, such as places to eat, walks in the area and how to get to /from Littleton to see the lovely markets on the Saturday morning. The TV Chromecast was useful and enabled us to watch our Netflix at night. The views from the studio across Banks Peninsula Bay was spectacular, and it was wonderful to see the lights across the harbour. of Littleton at night. It was really special being amongst the lovely surroundings of trees and hearing/seeing the birdlife. Only thing I’d note to future travellers of the area is there is limited places to eat out,two places I would recommend are two thumbs brewery & Orton Park Cafe. Thanks again, I’d love to return. Very comfortable and personal in great location

Dave was a very helpful host and the place was exactly as described and located in a quiet residential cul-de-sac. There are two natural areas close by, plus the river. Palms mall with a grocery store was 25 min walk. If you don't like walking or don't have a vehicle perhaps not right for you, but I loved getting my steps in through the parks and taking the bus. Would absolutely stay again.

I cannot speak more highly about this special place. From jaw dropping scenery, absolute privacy, relaxed open plan living through to access to a full kitchen and washing machine, this cabin delivers!

This was a great place to stay, clean, warm, well appointed. The host, Samantha, was a pleasure to deal with. She sent detailed and clear instructions and great information about the local area. Everything about the experience was top notch.

Brilliant location - Christchurch Adventure Park and an abundance of walking/running trails right on the doorstep, yet also convenient for the city. Stunning views! Off road parking is handy.

I have been to a few tiny houses and this one was the best so far. Beautifully done, well organized, private and cosy. We felt right at home. The little cabana and the garden is sweet extra. Nearby Dune cafe and the beach are must visit. I’d definitely book again.

I would say, this is the best AirBNB I had stay. The host is lovely and responsive. Top amenities, private and good surroundings. Feels like home. Zara, their cat also visiting us to say hello during our stay. If I ever coming back to NZ, I would looooveee to stay again. Thank you Sandra and Daryn - and not to forge, Zara ❤️

Communication was great - I had some questions before and got a response almost immediately. Instructions on how to get into the property were very clear and detailed, which made it very smooth for us to arrive even in the dark. There was plenty of space for all of us and (although we didn't use either of it) there was a well equipped kitchen and even a washing machine. All you could need and more.

Mike's cottage was beautiful! Lovely property & great location. We had a perfect stay.

Michelle has been very responsive, and the place is lovely and clean with everything we need. The internet is a bit slow, but overall, we’ve really enjoyed our stay here.

The cottages here are great! I stayed for one night when my travel plans changed last minute and it was a great way to get a private room and good amenities for a great price. Couldn’t recommend enough!

What a great place, with peaceful backyard and lovely neighborhood. This place has everything you might need for a great stay and Angela is the sweetest. Highly recommended.

I would say that this home far exceeds the average standards. Ulrike’s home really makes you feel like you are home. The garden is beautiful and overlooks the sea to Lyttelton. Everything inside is aesthetically pleasing, and you can tell that she puts extra care into each individual accent. She really counts for what people might like to do and make sure that the home is full of endless possibilities and suggestions and ways for you to detach from screens and enjoy the space that you’re in. She’s also very communicative and a joy to talk with and share with. Even though the main property is on the same site as the guest house you never feel like your privacy is being invaded. They leave a lot of space for you to explore and to just have peace with yourself and your partner. The grill was an exceptional piece and bonus. We loved making burgers and cooking and the kitchen had everything that you could ask for. It’s just very clear that Ulrike puts a lot of care into their space.

Great value for money! Liz’s place provided a great base for us to access family in the north of the city, as well as get in and around town for sightseeing. Accommodation was comfortable and communication was excellent. Although grocery shops and cafe are within walking distance, we really appreciated the basic food supplies provided when we arrived. Thanks Liz!

Superb!A house with character and full of amenities, it makes my life easier. Location is private and the beach is just few meters away. Don't miss the sunrise and sunset from the other side of new brighton.

Staying at Hiroshi and Kayori’s guesthouse for four nights was a great experience. The space was clean, well-organized, and provided all the essentials one would expect from quality accommodation. The nights were quiet, and the location was convenient—close to both the university and the airport. Hiroshi and Kayori were polite and thoughtful hosts, checking in on our needs several times during the stay. Their lovely spoodle, Pongo, was also friendly and playful. We came to Christchurch for my graduation ceremony, and the stay added joy to our time here. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Christchurch.
