Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Christchurch Central City

We had a wonderful stay at this condo in Christchurch! The location was perfect — close to everything we needed, including great cafes, shops, and attractions. The condo itself was tastefully furnished, very clean, and clearly well-maintained. It had all the amenities we could ask for, which made our stay super comfortable and convenient. Communication with the host was smooth and easy throughout. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Christchurch!

We really enjoyed our stay at Jess’s place. She was very proactive, friendly and made sure we were comfortable. Loved the way how she has decorated the house. Every corner was a depiction of her creativity. Definitely recommend her stay if you’re planning to stay in that area. 10/10

Spotless clean and tidy quiet and had everything we needed for a quick stay

Lovely place, very centrally located -- one day we simply walked in to centre of Christchurch and we were kind of surprised how doable that was because the place didn't seem like it was close to centre of town. Felt more suburban. Hosts were friendly and responsive. Everything was clean, and was nice to have a garden. We were a couple, and the place was perfect for us. It can theoretically accommodate more given there's a second bedroom but that would be a bit of a stretch, especially in winter, unless you move the dining table from kitchen to living room or some such. We hugely enjoyed our stay.

Wow the cottage is fabulous . . Stunning view and location . Arrived at night and we were blown away with the view when the sun came up ! Kelsey was an amazing host . . As was Guillaume when my man left his phone behind. Will definitely be back to stay. Jenny & Lionel

I've had a fantastic time in Christchurch at Mary and Marlon's stay. Superbly located just a quick walk from the city centre, you can easily get to wherever you want to go. Check-in couldn't be simpler, and the place itself is in immaculate shape. Mary was very communicative, and had useful recommendations and local knowledge to share. Strongly recommend this stay!

A great place to stay when working in Christchurch. Walking distance to town, and easy to get around. Rose was a great host, and the house had everthing that you need. Lovely little place in the ehart of Christchurch.

We had the best weekend in the city celebrating a birthday and just loved Sue and Jeff’s fabulous apartment. We arrived to a birthday card and a bottle of bubbly, such a thoughtful touch and we loved all the other little extras that were provided. It was the most perfect location and we loved coming back to our warm, cosy and very relaxing abode at the end of the day. We will definitely return. Thanks Sue and Jeff.

This apartment is charming, clean, quiet, and conveniently located. There are numerous excellent restaurants nearby, and the city center is just a 10-minute walk away. It provides a homely atmosphere that we truly appreciate. We adore this place and will certainly return. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic 3 nights enjoying the views and character of Julie's place, very friendly with lots of locals tips and would definitely like to revisit with the family !

Stayed for 5 nights at Emma’s beautiful place.. Super conveniently located, walkable to anywhere. I did morning walks to the botanic gardens and up and along the river to the huge reserve. Her home wifi was strong and did not cause any issue during my video conference calls.

It was a great start to our family vacation in NZ. Amy’s place is cosy, clean and comfortable. Beds are comfy and with hotel quality linen…plus bakery and coffee shop downstairs, it definitely helps to start the day on the right foot. It is also located opposite Holey Moley - the mini -golf venue. We had so much fun with our 8 yo boy there:-) Thank you for a lovely stay, Amy. We also appreciate you allowed us to check in early in the morning on this occasion.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Susan’s! The house was spacious and adequately equipped. It was also very well located as it’s a very short drive and probably about 10-15min walk to the central city! Susan was also a great host — she’s very quick to respond to our queries, gave clear and easy instructions for checking in/out, and overall made our stay very enjoyable!

Really handy location and easy walking distance into the CBD. The garden/outdoor area could use a bit of a spruce up to make it useable but the place was otherwise was great and fulfilled our needs 😊
