Cottage holiday rentals in Chickamauga Lake

My brother and I stayed Memorial Day weekend to go rafting on the Ocoee River and really enjoyed our stay. Location is private and beautiful! Only negative was only one shower but we made it work fine. House was very clean and we loved using the hot tub after rafting all day. Would stay here again highly recommend!

Such a neat place! There's several homes to rent here. Alll are charming. such. friendly host. He made us feel like family as he greeted us upon arrival. he was finishing up a wonderful new addition. can't wait to see that one!

For the purpose of our trip which was to take in 6 or 7 waterfalls, it was a perfect location. Cane Creek Falls, Rockhouse Falls, Fall Creek Falls and Piney Falls are within minutes of this Cottage. This was spacious place with a wonderful wrap-around porch. The Wifi worked well and have pretty good reach outside as well. Plenty of wood was there for use for the fire pit. The HVAC system cooled the place with ease. Definitely a private location. Other than cars passing by, we saw no one. Ha. There is a Dollar General about 10 miles away, so you need to plan ahead for getting groceries there. These are curve mountain roads, so you don't get anywhere quickly, but we expected that. We didn't use the hot tub, but there was one there in good working order. There were string lights up and down, so when it got dark, there was no problem seeing your way around. We really enjoyed this location and would reserve it again if we visited this area in the future. Thanks for the great stay!

Great location to downtown and 20 minute drive to Ellijay. They gave a lot of great reviews for places to visit while staying. 10 minute drive to a beach as well. Cozy and relaxing!

Great place to stay! We had a wonderful time in Cleveland and getting to see graduation at Lee University ! So beautiful, clean, spacious!

Very homey with everything you can think of and need: including seasonings, makeup remover wipes, snacks and coffee/ teas! We felt the extra touches with the extra comfy blankets and comforters throughout the Airbnb. We felt the house was very clean and smelled very nice! All the linen and towels were super soft and sanitized. We also felt safe at night as just a duo. The space was perfectly sized and large, the incline up to the house is steep you must drive a SUV or Truck with 4WD. A sedan isn't gonna make it! And I am happy we had the perfect vehicle. Tucked back and secluded, it gets very very dark and quiet at night. Which lead to very restful sleep and quiet mornings on the back looking into the woods. Little goats and cows in the fields before the house was such a sweet surprise coming back to the cabin everyday! We were about 15-20 from town and about 2-6 minutes from most wineries!

Love the cottage here! It’s a good location close to Rock City. I loved that we had the extra space that comes with an AirBNB, but also had breakfast provided. The breakfast was great! The hot tub was nice. Bedrooms were very spacious. Host was very responsive to messages when I had questions.

Quiet, secluded place and very clean!!

My family was so fortunate to have found Star Cottage. It was perfect for us and felt just like home. It was close enough to many fun things, but not too close to feel crowded or make me nervous with three young children. If we ever make it back to Chattanooga, we know exactly where to stay!

Dustin was a great host! Cozy spot, gorgeous neighborhood. We had a lovely weekend trip.

I've been to the Sunshine Cottage the last 5 years. Me and my girl friend meet-up there every year and it's always perfect. We love it and plan to book the Sunshine Cottage for the next 10 years!

Beautiful cottage, with a cozy, homey feeling! Beautiful location! Very welcoming! Could not ask for a better place to stay for the weekend. Pam was very accommodating, and the cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kids loved it and we all enjoyed the different board games.

This home is located 15 minutes to the caverns (for concerts) which is great. This is an older home, so lower your expectations some. The host lives on property. There is a fast highway out front so you do hear road noise from the bedrooms. The beds could be more comfortable. We enjoyed our stay overall with our pup. Love dog friendly places. Common Johns bar had great drinks and food. Emmas was a great breakfast spot. Lynchburg for Jack Daniels was only a 35 minute drive, highly highly recommend that tour! Then go have lunch at Barrel House BBQ after! That was great too!

I would say better than advertised. Absolutely beautiful and warm cottage. One of the best views around awaiting you at the end of the driveway. Everything you want to do is a short drive away. I honestly didn't want to leave this place and will definitely book this place again the next time im in that area!

Perfect spot for our trip to the Caverns! Try and Patti’s place was exactly as described and so comfy! We would def stay here an again!

Bryan Cottage was absolutely perfect for our stay in Dayton. Older house with modern feel. Beds, bathrooms and living areas were very nice and comfortable. the front porch was perfect for some fresh air and even to see the double rainbow after an afternoon rain shower. Also, was within walking distance to the lake and fishing areas. We were there for a soccer tournament at NACA. We love the outdoors. Went to the Laurel and Snow falls area. We were not able to make it all the way to the falls due to time constraints but there are plenty of cool photo ops for the first 30-40 minutes for the hike. Beautiful river and small falls along the way. Also visited Wildcat Hollow Falls in Graysville. Very quiet and secluded hike. Not as nice of scenery as Laurel Falls area but still nice. Again, due to time constraints, we were unable to make it all the way to the falls. Would also highly recommend taking a 45-50 trip to Fall Creek Falls State Park. Beautiful area and awesome waterfalls.

We were in the area for a wedding. It was a quick , exhausting weekend for us. We traveled 9 1/2 hours with a 1 year old for a 2 night stay before we had to head back home another 9 1/2 hours. The space was clean and inviting when we arrived. We weren’t able to stay and enjoy the beautiful back yard or peaceful surroundings but we enjoyed our time there. Clean and comfortable. Would stay again

Jason home was spotless, had everything we needed and the surroundings are beautiful. Jason did not fail in providing everything we needed and more. We really enjoyed how peaceful and quite the area is. We highly recommend Jason's home and should we be in the area again, we will definitely stay here again.

Description and photos are accurate. The location is very quiet and relaxing. It was easy to find and perfect for our event in Chattanooga. It is a 15 min drive to downtown and there is some grocery stores and restaurants a couple of miles away. The place was super clean and well equipped.

I would recommend this place to others, it was quiet, peaceful, beautiful spot on the lake just like we had wanted, and the photos showed. I thought it would be a bit bigger from the photos, but it did work for our needs! We didn't realize propane was not included with the grill, honestly I didn't even think to check that as an option, however they responded very quickly and directed us to a nearby location to buy some. Out of all the airbnbs I've stayed at over the years, they were the fastest responders by far. Everything was clean, instructions were clear through airbnb, and we had a very nice stay!

The cabin was clean and cozy. The views from the living room and deck were serene and scenic. We had a great time.

The place is a beautiful cozy cottage. The scenery off the back porch is beautiful. You are surrounded by nature. I felt like I could connect with creation. There are trails on the property that we hiked. You could stay and not have to leave. We met the hosts and their pets. Wonderful people and animals. I’d highly recommend. Out of all the places I have stayed over the years this was my favorite.
