Peace & Quiet In A Tuscan Hill Top Discovery

Gioviano is a small quiet medieval village 25 kms from the walled city of Lucca in the Garfagnana. The house is peacful and in the heart of this beautiful Tuscan village, if you want to explore the region this is a perfect retreat for a weekend or longer. We are 50 minutes from Pisa airport on the SS12 route. The location is perfect for summer or winter. In summer you can reach the sea, in winter ski in the hills. All year round you can explore the region by foot, bicycle, motorcycle or car.

Inside the house, there are stairs to go up to the sleeping area and 5 steps to go to the kitchen… for those with small children, if you tell us in time, we will look for gates to make everything safe and the possibility of a camping cot. We also have 1 small living room with fireplace and 1 larger with the possibility of adding a cot

Ground floor kitchen with TV first floor bathroom with shower top floor double bedroom with air conditioning. The house is accessed from a small courtyard equipped with table and chairs. For exclusive use of the property, small garden, a place suitable for an outdoor dinner in peace. INTERNAL STAIRS not suitable for those with walking problems

“La dimora del Codirosso” is my historic family home in which I rent a part to those who travel or seek rest, rediscovering the atmosphere of the past. The house is hidden in a small medieval village in the Norther Tuscany, Brucciano, among the tranquility of the woods and mountains of Garfagnana's area. On request I’ll be happy to prepare for you a delicious Italian breakfast or other meals but, remember, these service are not included in the price.
