Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Cheshire West and Chester

We booked Frog Manor to celebrate a 50th birthday and it was perfect. There was nothing we needed that wasn’t catered for. Richard was friendly, helpful and responsive. The property was clean and the grounds were well cared for. Loved the resident ducks and squirrels and even made friends with the gardener’s dog Hattie. The food at the local pub was lovely. Would recommend.

We had a wonderful time at Emma's accomodation celebrating a hen do and catching up with friends we haven't seen for 10 years. It was ideal location, beautifully decorated, couldn't have been more perfect! thankyou!!

Enjoyed our stay so much, such a beautiful house and area. Resturants/shops not too far from the house too, which made the experience more relaxing as there wasn't a lot of extra travel needed during our stay, definitely would recommend going to the Maiden Castle during your stay too.

We had booked a 2 night stay and almost immediately decided we wished we had booked longer. The property was amazing and very thoughtfully furnished with great little touches, kitchen very well stocked with equipment, various books available and family games. Lovely garden, shame it rained throughout our stay. Check in and out very easy. We will be back to stay at this lovely property.

Joshua's place was fantastic. Very clean and tidy. Nicely decorated. The beds were comfortable. I can't say enough good things about this space and the host. The location was perfect with an easy walk to within the walls. We never struggled to find parking (which had been a worry - but it was not a problem in the end). Great stay and highly recommended!

Three friends and I stayed for a weekend in this great property. The location is fantastic if you want to walk around Chester. We all found the property to be clean, attractive with comfortable beds and lovely bathroom. The kitchen is ideal if you want to do a bit of self-catering. There is a second staircase to access the loft bedroom, so this is best suited to people with reasonable mobility. There is a safe private car parking space - so convenient. We couldn't have asked for a better property for our weekend. What a find!

Sarah's cottage is rather unique ... it is a mix and match of the olden golden and the new modern. My husband and I had a very comfortable week's stay. The location left us speechless ... a few minutes walk to the centre of town (and the Walls) with every conceivable requirement at hand .... the furthest one had to walk for grocery shopping was the 15 min walk to Waitrose and the closest was a 4 minute walk to M&S FoodHall. And, there is a tap brewery one minute away, around the corner. Our sleep was comfortable and the heating was perfect. The neighbours are friendly and the area is quiet. We wish we had time to go through all the wonderful books in every room. The artefacts around the cottage make one feel immediately at home. We would definitely recommend Sarah's cottage in Chester! And would look forward to another stay in the future. :-)

Lovely barn conversion. Ideal for 2 couples and a complete home from home. Both bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms and a downstairs loo too. Lovely comfy beds and the seating area outside was ideal for a sunny morning cuppa. Clare is the perfect host, on hand if needed :-) Location is ideal for Chester and taxis are readily available. Local pub within walking distance selling good real ales and has a reasonable food offering.

We were attending a local wedding and Sue’s place was just perfect! It’s amazingly presented, spotlessly clean and the breakfast provisions, chocolates & lollies etc were all just unexpected bonuses. Sue was very helpful and friendly. If we return again we’ll definitely stay there again.

Perfect venue to accommodate us whilst waiting for our house purchase to complete. Particularly liked self contained accommodation with own access door and all on the one level - no stairs. A real bonus was the weekly fresh bedding and towelling and general cleanup as we were here for 5 weeks. We had no issues during our stay but on the occasions that we saw Karen she always checked that everything was ok. Thank you Karen.

Diane had my mum stay with her for about 2-months. My mum said how lovely Diane was and how considerate she is and approachable. I would absolutely recommend people stay here, as the location is beautiful and Diane is super accommodating.

We stayed here for two nights, visiting Chester for the half marathon. The flat was perfectly located near the canal and very close to the city centre which is beautiful and has lots of choice for eating out. The flat was easy to find and had everything we needed including a lovely hot shower. We would definitely stay here again

We stayed at Mark and Cathy’s place for the weekend and it was nothing short of spectacular. They greeted us upon arrival and showed us where everything we needed was. The space itself is perfect, and it has an amazing shower with great water pressure, something we appreciate and have not always been so lucky to have. They gave us great recommendations for where to go and what to do. They are a close walk to the Racecourse and other stores/restaurants. We will most certainly stay here again for our next trip to Wrexham.

Lovely place. Great for exploring the Chester area. Jo was super helpful and clear with instructions/recommendations. She was also really responsive and friendly. The place was clean and spacious and had everything we needed. Really appreciate that toddlers/small children were thought of with the built in stair gates, highchair, travel cot, bath toys etc. Comfy beds and good shower pressure also! Would highly recommend this place and I think Jo is a brilliant host

You will never meet two nicer, or kinder people than the owners of Hill Farm. From the moment I arrived on sight, the owners where incredible and made my stay such a gorgeous experience. Friendly, clean, stunning surroundings, beautifully kept land and premises. Stunning accommodation and staff. 10/10 and will recommend to everyone and anyone to come and experience what the owners have both achieve and offer here.

We really enjoyed Clare's place. It was cosy and really fitted our needs. Clare was very welcoming and available. We would definitely recommend staying here. Even at short notice like us.

We were staying for a wedding in the local area and it was perfect for what we needed. The location is beautiful and the house itself is lovely and light and airy. Hosts were really accommodating and helpful. Lovely little place to stay if visiting Cheshire.

Sally has done an amazing job with this conversion. It’s very tastefully decorated and has everything you could need. Wish I could have stayed for longer!

Very nice apartment; comfortable, quiet and appears to be well maintained. For us, the provision of a parking space was crucial to our choice: especially in a town like Chester which has many narrow roads where parking can be problematic. Easy check-in due to the very good communications from the Host. Several (independent) fast food places and mini-supermarkets are within easy walking distance, so supplies were never an issue. Also within easy walking distance were the City Walls, and the other attractions that Chester has to offer. So, all in all, a successful trip for us.

Lovely flat, just as described. Brilliant location with all attractions within a few minutes' walk. Gorgeous cafe below the flat - very convenient - and just a couple of minutes to Telfords Warehouse on the canal for good food, drink and music. A really lovely weekend that exceeded our (already high) expectations. Thank you Jaynie!

Great place to stay. 10 minute walk into the city centre. the apartment felt a lot bigger and more spacious than we expected. we had 3 nights here and could easily have stayed longer. a lovely home away from home
