Beautiful place and surroundings, really lovely and peaceful. Loved the accommodation, beds very comfortable and the hot tub was worth the extra money. Will 100% be coming back!

Had a lovely birthday weekend away at Humbug Barn! Amanda was a wonderful host—so welcoming and helpful. The barn itself was beautiful and perfectly located near the Forest of Dean. The views from the hot tub were absolutely stunning. I’d definitely recommend it! xx

Amazing stay here with my husband. The cottage was perfect for a relaxing and quiet weekend. The breakfast basket was a lovely touch and everything was as described in the listing. Joy is a brilliant host checking in to make sure everything was going smoothly! Would definitely stay again!!

Charming and quaint - a great place for families to stay near the Cotswolds. We had a few hiccups on our trip due to things out of our control but the host was super kind and did what she could to make it a great experience for us. The cottage is well kept and has good spaces (bathroom was nice and updated as well as the kitchen) and the bedrooms worked great to fit our family. All in all, I'd recommend a stay here!

This place is so lovely! Host Meng was so kind, even putting some beautiful flowers in the cottage for my birthday ❤️ the view is spectacular, it's one of the most peaceful places I've been. Hot tub is great fun, the kitchen has got everything you need including washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets. The bed was comfy, plug sockets everywhere you'd want them and usb sockets. It was great to see how dog friendly the place is with throws for the couch, fenced garden and fixed stairs gates. I highly advise popping into Jolter Press Cider bar/shop and getting some food from the local Chinese takeaway. Also a walk to St Anthony's Well, there's some step incline/declines on the walk there but it's beautiful and you have to take a dip! We also went to the Three Choirs Vineyard that was beautiful and good fun too. I would definitely come back and I think it would be equally beautiful in any season, our summer trip was fantastic but I'd love to see it in autumn or winter too.

Jamie & Dan are very fortunate to have this beautiful property. It is the ideal country location for escaping away and distancing yourself from our increasingly busy lives. The gardens around the property are stunning, the views are incredible and the local area is amazing to explore on foot, bike or by car. We had an amazing stay and would happily return, and have already started to recommend to friends & family

Incredible place! We had a lovely couple of nights here. The house is full of character and has everything you need and the enclosed garden was great for our young daughter and dogs. Very peaceful location so sitting in the hot tub in the evenings was very relaxing. The added bonus of access to the river at the bottom of the garden was great! Will checked us in and gave us some suggestions of local walks and things to do which was ideal. Would highly recommend!!

Hope Cottage is amazing. The location is wonderful, the house itself has everything you need and makes you feel like you're staying in a proper British cottage. Sarah is an amazing host: she answered any questions I had very quickly and was just in general very kind. One thing to note: the house isn't built for tall people. I'm 181 cm tall (about 5'11) and I had to bend down a bit whilst going through doorways or using the shower. It didn't really bother me, but it's just something to be aware of. Whether you want a quiet retreat or a homebase to explore the area, this is an amazing place to do so!

We’ve stayed in lots of Airbnb places over the years and Oak Farm is up there with the best. We had a fantastic week with Alicia & Chris being excellent and friendly hosts. They went out of their way to make our stay extremely comfortable and they were very generous with their time and the extras they provided. The location is superb with outstanding views across the hills, we spent many happy hours sitting in the Sun loungers reading. It’s also a great location for exploring the wonderful hills around Abergavenny . Our dog loved it too with a secure area of woodland for him to play and explore we would love to return one day and will be recommending this place to our friends and family . We had a lovely stay at the cottage for a weekend. Fern was very helpful and welcoming. The cottage was beautifully decorated and lots of character which we love. It had everything we needed! Bathroom was clean, the bed was very comfy and the little courtyard garden was lovely to sit and have breakfast in the sunshine. Very welcoming of dogs. Lots of local walks and beautiful surroundings. We will definitely be returning to stay here in the future.

There are SuperHosts and then there’s Pete!! What a star - he likes to chat to newcomers if he can, and we found him full of really useful info. He even managed to get us a table at the local pub, The White Horse. It was packed, but the service and food were excellent. He also recommended a walk up to the Kymin, which was fantastic - what a view. Pete also gave us the most generous welcome basket of goodies we’ve ever had!! All in all, the perfect, peaceful, pad in a great location to get anywhere in the Wye valley, Forest of Dean or wider Monmouthshire. And Pete!

Kevin was a terrific host. The gardens of the house were excellent and made for a relaxing stay. The house was very charming and we enjoyed cooking for each other and playing games.

Graig Ddu is a very special place. The house has a timeless quality to it, so much more than a typical holiday rental. The location is so beautiful, it is surrounded by the garden and trees up a lovely forest track (but still safely driveable) We enjoyed the walk along the valley to Llanthony Priory but also just spent time in the garden. We were there during the unusually hot weather and the house was a cool, calm escape. Really enjoyed the books and Positive News magazines, a much needed antidote to current affairs! Lovely cottage, big bonus is electric car charging and dog friendly. Comfy beds, real fire place and good board games. We had a lovely time

Really enjoyed our stay. Very clean and comfortable holiday let in a very peaceful location. We were very lucky with the weather and it was great to have secure outdoor space for the dogs to wander around. The dog paddock was well used! Deb’s a great host and we will definitely return.

The Stables was the perfect destination for a relaxing holiday away from the city. Yvonne was an excellent host who gave us some good recommendations for restaurants and left us some tasty scones as a welcome gift. The view from the place is stunning and we enjoyed eating outside watching the birds. The place was comfortable, the shower was hot and had good pressure and the kitchen had everything we needed. I'd thoroughly recommend this place and will hopefully come again in the future.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with freshly baked bread and a thoughtful basket of goodies — such a personal and generous touch. The space itself was beautiful, cozy, and spotless, with every detail carefully considered. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was our hostess. She was incredibly kind and welcoming — warm, helpful, and genuinely caring. It’s clear she puts her heart into making her guests feel completely at home. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and can’t wait to return. Highly, highly recommended!

Imagine “The Holiday” vibes— so cute! So cozy! Right next to an old church and even has a fun hike to an old Roman Villa built in 300 A.D. that you can check out and be amongst the pastoral countryside of England! So quaint and cute and I loved that it was a great location to do the North Cotswold area And the south end…. So it was a little bit in the middle of both and perfect! So peaceful, so beautiful and the beds weren’t too bad either! Big bonus was the parking was plenty and still private !

A great find! The Cobblers is impeccably clean, comfortable and spacious, with a delightful outside space to enjoy the beautiful garden. It is ideally situated both for Bath (10min from the Park and Ride), and also for a peaceful, rural break. There is so much to see and do in the surrounding countryside. The Cheddar Gorge and caves, just 30min away, was spectacular! This really is a wonderful place to stay, and we certainly plan to return!

Doris and her husband were wonderful hosts. They were so warm, welcoming, kind and generous. They went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. We had special little treats like pastries daily. Were given fresh eggs on arrival from their own hens and wine.

What a fabulous find this was. It loved up to our expectations and far, far beyond. Utterly delightful, peaceful and quirky. All the lovely touches, renovated to the highest standard. A massive bonus was access to a beautiful garden, complete with sun loungers! Given that the weather was amazing it really did add a special something! The Old Workshop is just beautiful Set in the countryside -only a few miles from Bath - the views are stunning; so peaceful and relaxing Breakfast and supper on the patio were so enjoyable The cottage is so high spec …everything you need Alison was an exceptional host with great communication before and during our stay - going the extra mile such as a list of places to eat/ visit Transport and directions I loved that Alison had left some greatly appreciated essentials for use I would definitely recommend 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
