Cottage holiday rentals in Monmouthshire

A lovely comfortable cottage which was well kept and very clean. Rachel was very quick to respond and helpful when i asked questions.

We had a lovely few days staying here, the weather wasn’t on our side however it didn’t spoil things. The accommodation was lovely, had everything we needed. Hot tub and sauna were simply perfect. The hosts were fabulous and we would definitely recommend this accommodation. The children loved the open space, the football goal and the chickens and geese. Thank you for allowing us to have a few days away in such a lovely place 🩷

Beautiful place and surroundings, really lovely and peaceful. Loved the accommodation, beds very comfortable and the hot tub was worth the extra money. Will 100% be coming back!

Amazing stay at the Yarlington Dairy. The cottage was stunning and had everything you needed. The views were magnificent and the cider was also lush! Laura was a wonderful host, super friendly and very responsive. Thank you for a great stay celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary! 🤩 x

We loved our stay at the Old Barn House! We stayed for a girls weekend and it had everything we could’ve possibly needed and more. The weather was gorgeous so we used the bbq and spent most of our time outside in the lovely garden. The hot tub was great with amazing views surrounding it. The Old Barn House was located a short journey from the shops and was very private and quiet, it was easy to find following Sarah’s directions. We had the best weekend!

We had the most amazing stay at this beautiful cottage. Well presented with well thought out amenities left for us. Plenty of space for the three of us and the hot tub was a delightful treat after we had explored for 11k. Dinner at butterflies was stunning, for three people who talk a lot, we were eating in silence because we were so happy 🥰 Will happily recommend to friends and family visiting the area. We had a fabulous stay here as 2 couples and a toddler. All my questions were answered really quickly and helpfully. the house is superb and perfect for our weekend away, great location to visit nearby or just enjoy the garden, garden & pub as we did! The house is so unique and tastefully put together and the beds were super comfy The pub really made our stay too, really friendly, good with kids, superb food and drinks I'm sure we will be back to this fab place

Our stay here was perfect for a mini break with the kids. They enjoyed the outdoor space to play games everyday, it was safe, peaceful and quiet. My husband and I enjoyed the aesthetics of the cottage, along with the homely fire. Beautifully located and very peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Kathy’s cottage in Crickhowell is fantastic – beautifully decorated, spotless, and extremely well equipped. Everything was clean and tidy, and we felt relaxed as soon as we walked through the door. The location is perfect: peaceful and quiet, yet within easy walking distance of all the lovely shops, restaurants and pubs in Crickhowell – easily nicest town in South Wales! Kathy was a brilliant host, with clear, timely communication and a warm, welcoming approach. Couldn’t recommend it more highly.

This is an idyllic find, in a glorious setting, in a very pretty and totally secure garden. The barn conversion is pleasantly furnished in a simple comtemporary style, and there is everything you need, all well thought through. All the family members we met were charming and helpful. We are really looking forward to another visit.

We felt right at home in Elizabeth's cottage. The house was perfectly formed and cosy. The views were lovely and the place was very rural and quiet. Check in was easy and flexible. There was a walk from the cottage which was lovely on our first day. kitchen was small but perfect for a couple and we cooked both evenings. Would highly recommend and will definately be looking to go back. Thank you Elizabeth for the use of your wonderful cottage.

Clare's cottage was a real haven, a home away from home. The setting was stunning and Helen was a wonderful host super helpful and friendly but never intrusive. We had everything that we needed for a wonderful stay. Helen has also provided a glossary of information about the surrounding area andots of brochures for keen walkers. Would highly recommend and would definitely return.

my second stay...and I ll be back. so easy to find...easy access to the castle which is opposite....pubs along the river ...fab to sit with a g&t and watch the world go by

A beautiful cottage that felt like home. So many personal touches, really well equipped with everything you could need. Anne and Rob were amazing hosts, so welcoming. If you are looking for a homely sanctuary to stay, would absolutely recommend you book.

We had a really lovely time at Birch cottage. Despite only staying for a couple of days we felt right at home and fell in love with the area. The house is well equipped and beautifully decorated, and the Sauna was a fantastic experience. Phil was very helpful and went out of his way to make us feel welcome, I'm sure we'll be back in the not too distant future!

Thank you for having us at Craig yr Hafod, we all had a wonderful time. Loved the peaceful and beautiful setting and really enjoyed exploring the plot and neighbouring mountains. Would love to come back and see the area in another season.

A peaceful and private cottage, the property was clean and a pleasure to spend time in. The lovely views of grazing animals, and no Wi-fi made it easy to truly relax. The hosts were friendly and easily contactable. Would recommend.

We hade a lovely time staying at this little cottage for two nights. The surroundings are beautiful with plenty of great walks nearby. Sian was the perfect host giving us great recommendations of places to eat and things to do. We would happily come back and stay here again and do the walks we didn’t get to do this time round.

We loved our three nights in this beautiful cottage. Such a peaceful area, very close to the river Wye, and with Tintern just down the road. Amazing views from the balcony. All very clean, and well equipped. We will definitely be back!

Tracey was incredibly welcoming and had baked us a cake and gave us some farm eggs which were both delicious! She also helped us with local recommendations for places to eat and was generally lovely. A beautiful, modern conversion of a barn on a working farm with lambs in field around. Well equipped and decorated with comfortable under floor heating. We were walking the 3 Castles Way and every thing was in easy reach. Highly recommended!

We stayed in this beautiful barn for three nights, while my daughter sat some of her GCSE exams as an external candidate in a local school. It was the perfect location: private, peaceful and surrounded by the most beautiful views. We loved every minute of our stay, the barn was absolutely immaculate and Paul and Rosi are incredibly welcoming hosts.

Fab place, couldn’t fault the cottage. Location great very quiet. Remote with no phone signal but super WiFi when needed.
