Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Cheat River

Beautiful location with graat and easy access to the amazing towns of Thomas and Davis as well as the beautiful Canaan Valley and surrounding region. Zygmund was a wonderful host who took my numerous mistakes in stride working with me to resolve them. Communication was an absolute breeze. I highly recommend this location and host!

We had an incredibly relaxing, peaceful, quiet getaway. The house is more than enough space for 2 people, well stocked kitchen, amazing scenery. Beautiful Mountain View’s, screened in porch, super serene.

Can’t say enough good things about this place! My family and I had the best time. Gorgeous and clean home with extra amenities and goodies in the kitchen. The fire pit outside is wonderful. Though it was a cold Memorial Day Weekend, we made the best of it enjoying the comfy home and watching a movie. Someone in the guest book talked about counting the bears in the house.. they got 151, we got 163! Between the adults it was a funny game to compete who could get the most! Thank you Greg and Denise for a wonderful stay!

Boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay. Accommodations were excellent. We really didn’t need anything but groceries and liquor :) The home had everything we needed (kitchen supplies including food containers, variety of seasonings, kcups, tea, keurig, hair dryer, washer/dryer) and didn’t think we needed (Qtips, hot tub towels, cleaning supplies, including laundry pods and dryer sheets, Netflix, Prime, grill accessories). The fully equipped kitchen, grill, and hot tub were bonus features for us. We will book again.

Absolutely loved our stay at Vince’s property! From the start, communication was smooth and timely—Vince was a fantastic host. Everything was exactly as expected, and the home truly felt like a cozy, peaceful escape. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and the bonus entertainment of watching deer roam freely across the hills all day was pure magic. Vince really thought of everything—it was well-stocked, comfortable, and felt like a true home away from home. Just the reset we needed. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Abram and Nina are EXCELLENT hosts. the house was clean , organized and cozy. They were both incredibly responsive and attentive to all messages & problems. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Stacy was extremely responsive and quickly called me to answer my questions. The house is so cute with ample space for a family or small group of friends. We loved the location as we were close to restaurants and attractions. Being next to the main road allows for traffic noise, but it was worth it for being on the water and the great location.

We really enjoyed our time in the cabin! We made use of the hot tub and the fire pit. We walked down to the lake and it was very scenic. The house is quite nice and cozy. The beds were perfectly fine. I really enjoyed the reading nook that's tucked away around a corner and appreciated the kitchen and its accoutrements. The only thing I really didn't like was the road down to the cabin and, more so, the drive back out. We successfully navigated this in our Toyota Camry, but really, I'd have been a lot more comfortable in a 4 wheel drive SUV or truck.

The cabin was beautiful! Small & cozy, perfect for a weekend away. The location was easy to find & check in was seamless. The cabin & hot tub were both extremely clean. Has everything you’d need for a long weekend. The host was friendly & proactive with check in & check out instructions. Would definitely stay again!

We had an amazing stay! Close to Davis, Thomas, Dolly sods by any standards. Close to Seneca rocks, spruce knob and Nelson rocks by WV standards, lol. Everything was comfortable and clean, we loved the swing on the screened in porch! Make sure to call restaurants to confirm hours, Google/Apple Maps information wasn’t always accurate, but we found plenty to do and eat!

This was our second time staying at Wanda’s place. It is the perfect place to get away and just relax.We spent time in the hot tub,grilled and spent many hours enjoying a campfire .My husband and I cannot wait to return for another week.We highly recommend.

Better than we expected, this place was a tranquil destination. Pictures do not do it justice, the babbling brook, beautiful setting, community pond (with Koi fish), peaceful decks and comfy furnishings easily make this a 5 star air bnb! We will be back!! Thank you for giving us a quiet place to unwind and close enough to enjoy all the DCL area has to offer!

Merry Jo's place was a beautiful, clean and comfortable mountain home with stunning views. It is extremely private and peaceful (I think we saw one vehicle during our stay), and a great place to relax, meditate, and refresh. True escape! We saw deer daily and enjoyed the hiking nearby. It is close to restaurants (Davis, WVa) but the kitchen was well-stocked and we did cook out a few times. Merry Jo is a wonderful host, and she is quick to answer all of our questions, etc. We highly recommend and hope to visit again in the near future.

Our travel plans to Davis included lots of outdoor activities, but a torrential rainstorm had other ideas. We were hold up in Dasha’s lovely cabin for 3 days - all the amenities and thoughtful touches made us feel welcome and cozy while we waited out the storms. You can't go wrong booking this cabin. Great location, everything you could need or want, and Dasha is an amazing (and very thoughtful) communicator. When we go back, we’ll definitely book this cabin again.

Jeremy’s cabin was clean, comfortable and had everything I needed. I loved the location as well. I stayed in this community several times before so I knew what to expect and it was just as wonderful as I remembered. The deck and hot tub were my favorite, especially after a day outside hiking. I traveled solo and this was the peace and quiet I needed — a great getaway from my stressful job in Baltimore.
