Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Charlotte Amalie

Wonderful place to stay! It felt private and safe. It was a little challenging to get to, but as with anywhere on the island, without the adventure you don’t get the views! Stacie had exceptional communication, including a guide for nearby beaches/restaurants/grocery stores. Very clean. What stood out most were the “extra” amenities. We made use of the beach chairs, beach towels, a pair of snorkeling fins, etc., even the first aid kit! Would highly recommend!

I’ve stayed at a variety of Airbnb properties in St Thomas and Haagensen House is my favorite for its uniqueness and privacy. The property manager, Harold, met me near the airport to ensure I found my way - I encourage future renters to do the same as nav systems can be spotty on the island. The decor was refreshing and nailed the old town vibe of Charlotte Amalie - I loved the colors and wood details throughout. The entry garden is breathtaking and the expansive patio overlooking the water was such a pleasant surprise - I couldn’t believe it was all mine. The AC in the bedrooms worked well and at night, there was a nice breeze if you kept the doors open in the main space. The hosts are the NICEST people!! I travel with my small dog and finding dog friendly accommodations in STT is very difficult. We were welcomed with open arms. They were so thoughtful, following up to make sure we were settled okay and didn’t need anything. I cannot thank them enough for their hospitality

The unit looked just like the photos; it was pretty, well kept & clean. There’s an amazing view. Located in a quiet area.

Tucked away peacefully, with an extraordinary view of the island, this home is an oasis. The pictures & descriptions are accurate but don't provide it enough justice. Everything is provided including condiments, toiletries, sunscreen, wifi, directions, even a book of local activities & eateries. Although the home is delightful the true gem is Kendra. She is always ready & willing to assist with a pleasant demeanor. The price point is also amazing for the quality of the hospitality. FYI I'd suggest renting a vehicle. Overall an exceptional time was spent here worry free & have every intention of returning.

Stayed here for 2 days and absolutely loved every second. Location is beautiful, view is priceless and even better than in the photos. Danielle is a great person , drove me and my fiance up the long hill when we were already running a little late after checking out which she didn’t have to do at all. Overall had an amazing experience , only thing I will say is make sure you rent a car or else it will be a lot more difficult for you to get around and see places , area is perfect for a nice romantic getaway but make sure u have a car because transportation/taxis don’t like to come down to pick you up at this location and they’re also much more expensive. Just wow!!! We’ve been coming to the islands for about 30 years, mostly staying in St. John… but the views from this villa were the best we have ever had! The villa was just extremely practical and homey! The king beds and cold AC helped us to recover from long days of hikes, snorkels, beaches, and shopping! The decor was so nice and we loved the live plants and orchids! We enjoyed the huge tv as we watched the college World Series in the evenings. The breezes through the villa were very relaxing! We will plan to come again! Thanks Michael for being so helpful, attentive, and quick to respond!

We were looking for an economical place on the east side of the island that was somewhat private, clean and comfortable. Palms Cove Hideout checked all the boxes. We heard the island often experiences power outages; although there was only one such incident during our 8-day stay, we were grateful when the generator kicked in. Juellis was very responsive to our requests for advice and recommendations. This spot was tricky to find as we were arriving in a rental car, not a taxi. The video Juellis sent helped, but if I had it to do over again, I would pay a taxi driver to lead the way!

Christy and the team were amazing hosts!! Everything was arranged perfectly and so much detail that she puts into your stay! It was so peaceful, even with the roosters lol. We will definitely be booking again and will recommend this air bnb to friends and family.

I absolutely LOVED it here and really wish that I would have found it sooner than what I did! If you are looking for an amazing place to stay… look no further. You will not regret it! Feara is the greatest! I could not have felt more at home. Everything that you will need plus more is here! My only complaint was that I couldn’t stay longer & that my vacation ended! When I return this will definitely be my spot!! Once again I cannot thank you enough for your wonderful hospitality and accommodating services. I was last minute with booking coming from a different and not so good AirBnB and she even allowed me to check in early! She saved me in so many ways!! I will return! I already gave you five stars, but here are the other five stars that you deserve because this was an absolute 10 star service and stay ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Grace’s place is amazing! Extremely close to sapphire beach and by the red hook area where there are lots to do. Her place is convenient for a lot of the beaches just a short drive away. She was very responsive when we had questions such as parking. Her place is also close by restaurants and coffee shops 3 min drive. Had pots and pans to cook along with cooking utensils. The great part was the foot bath by the entrance so we could rinse our feet from sand before entering.

Great place to stay. Vern’s apartment was beautiful clean and peaceful. It’s up in the hills so definitely recommend a jeep for getting there. Vern was home when we checked in she’s so friendly answered all our questions and responded quickly when I sent messages with random questions. Highly recommended Vern and her home!!

Randall was great and very helpful, which made our trip super nice. The house was spotless, well-maintained, and featured a great kitchen and a lovely bedroom. The house has a flat driveway, excellent air conditioning, and is a short distance from Magen's Bay, our favorite beach! We would love to go back again!

Darryl’s place was awesome. It looked exactly like the photos, and my favorite part was the private balcony with an incredible view. I felt completely safe, and Darryl was very responsive and provided awesome recommendations. I would definitely stay again!

Joanne’s place was great! Quick walk to the beach. The home was neat and clean, full kitchen, working A/C and TV. Also a very quick walk to a few places to eat including a brunch spot. Beach was gorgeous and not (very) packed. Would definitely come again!☀️🏝️

Once I got in, I thought the place was very nice. There were clean linens, towels and washcloths. I was thankful for the kitchenette.

This was absolutely one of the best experiences I've had with an AirBnB host. Both the property and the friendliness of the owners made this trip absolutely special. I will definitely be returning in the future. I've been to St. Thomas multiple times over the years and this is the best spot on the island.

My fiancé and I stayed here for our annual trooical getaway. We're from the mountains of Colorado so we're very active and adventerous. This place was perfect! Close to the Red Hook ferries, some great restaurants, and everything was very driveable. We had a rental car and I'd recommend it for this location. It made life very easy. We enjoyed multiple dinners at home because the windows really do look like that and they're SPOTLESS. Enjoy that patio but definitely light a bug candle. We did everything! Hiking, snorkeling off beaches, snorkeling using boat charters... everything. We love this island and Veronica's little condo was exceptional. We did lose power for 1 night. I would recommend blasting the AC the minute you get back to prepare for having to go a night without it and do not open the windows if it happens. Just ride it out. Blame WAPA. I use a CPAP machine and brought a travel battery. I strongly recommend you do the same and bring battery banks for phones at least.

Deb & Darryl's condo is quite possibly the very BEST location at Sapphire Beach! Being on the ground floor made access to and from the beach so simple (especially with a kid) and the view is still fantastic from the porch - but the view is even BETTER just steps away on the shore! D&D are extremely thoughtful about what they provide to their guests: a stash of masks, snorkels, fins (even two pairs that would fit a child), beach bags, pool noodles/floats, and ample bath AND beach towels. From the small and large coolers (w/ some ice packs ready for use in the freezer), to the Shout laundry spray, the condo was well stocked with all the essentials! *Check the fridge before going to the store!* The music from the bar/restaurant area next door was noticeable (background "thumping") when outside, but it was not heard when inside the condo with the doors closed. Other than a dinghy rental on St. John, we spent most days hanging out at Sapphire- so beautiful with great waves to play in!

Ben and Erica were great hosts. They answered our questions promptly. The location was perfect, and the condo was as described. Would recommend Ben and Erica’s place and plan to return.

Our family enjoyed this location especially the views we had of the oceanfront. We felt at home with easy access to the pool and restaurants made it easy to get around and explore the island.

My wife and I found this place on Air B&B And wow, what a lucky find! Exceptionally beautiful resort, the condo is right on the beach. Easy push button door lock. Super easy check in. Front door parking. All the amenities of home. Spotlessly clean.

LISTEN TO YOUR HOST! Laverne strongly recommended we get a rental car — my wife and I love to walk so we didn’t get one — we will not go back to St. Thomas unless we rent a car! Now the space: the pictures don’t do it justice the bedroom, pool area, bathroom, and living room are larger than perceived in photos and the kitchen has ample room for one cook at a time, two if you’re skilled! All areas of the accommodation were spotless and insectless inside! The bed is better than ours at home and we’re still thinking about that one of a kind bathroom and the pool lights! I swear the walls are sound proof, there were families in either side of us with kids and we never heard a peep inside. The property grounds and walkways are well maintained Laverne is a master of instructions. We never had to double text, ask what was meant, clarify our end, it was smoother than we had even hoped and for that we would recommend this place to anyone, especially for their honeymoon like we did!

If you're staying in St. Thomas, this place is a dream come true. It's in a great location, easy to find/access, and extremely private and peaceful. The host provided great instructions, resources, and local recommendations and made the overall experience very easy. You can tell they have plenty of experience hosting, because anything you will possibly need is in the space--including beach chairs, an umbrella, and snorkels, which were very useful. The kitchen has everything you need to cook, the bed is super comfortable, and all the furniture (especially the patio) are great quality. The view from the house is absolutely stunning, and even the great photos don't do it justice. I can assure you that you will not be disappointed with this place. I've stayed in a lot of Airbnb's, and this might just be my all-time favorite. 10/10 stay! Also-- if you plan to visit St. John (recommend), this place is conveniently close to the Red Hook ferry departure.
