Stunning home and property - we spent the majority of our time outside. We particularly loved fishing the pond. Hosts are proactively communicative and also respond quickly to any requests or needs. If we’re ever back in the area we look forward to staying again.

What an amazing and tranquil place to stay, sit on porch, listen to the water and watch deer stroll through the yard. Very convenient to many of the surrounding areas and restaurants but we were content to just enjoy the peacefulness, read and relax. We ate at Smokehouse of Steve's and did some grocery shopping there and at the Saxapahaw General Store. This place to stay has the magic!

I rented this place for my first solo trip. I couldn’t have picked a better spot! From the secluded private yard, to the hot tub, to the beautiful area. I had such a wonderful birthday and a wonderful first trip on my own! I will absolutely be coming back!

We had the most amazing stay at this peaceful lakeside spot! The property was beautiful and relaxing. My son was over the moon getting to help with the ducks and chickens—it was such a special experience. Lisa was awesome with her personality and charm! The whole place felt like a hidden gem, and we can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique, kid-friendly getaway!

Our stay at Mountain Vibes Log Cabin was immensely enjoyable, wonderful and amazing. This Airbnb venue is a gem indeed with so many amenities to enjoy along with the cabin itself. Lina and Marcio were wonderful hosts, 100% responsive, rapidly assisting with any and all requested needs during our stay!!

We had a BLAST & cannot wait to come back! Between the extremely nice staff, cleanliness & enjoyment with the animals that this place offers made our stay comfortable &relaxed. House was very clean. The animals were the biggest highlight for my family as we are HUGE animal lovers. My sons enjoyed kayaking & fishing, even catching a pretty nice sized large mouthed bass. My family (who lives in NC) came over to check out the place, fed carrots to the horses & donkeys. They fell in love with it & will definitely mention it, should someone come visiting them. Your lakefront home was so peaceful, even with all the different animal noises; it was a pleasure to to hear their calls to each other. Friendly cats roaming freely. The chickens were adorable, as was the turkey "couple" who greeted us upon our arrival. This place is a GEM! If someone does not have a good time during their stay here, then they must have a problem. We are already planning our next visit. Debi&Crew NJ

If I could give this property and management 10 stars I would! The house Is quaint and surrounded by trees. It has two large screened porches with plenty of seating. It is the epitome of peacefulness. You feel like you are alone in the woods but you are only 5 or 10 minutes from everything!! The owners were so very responsive and helpful. They are really kind people. We stayed two weeks and wish we could have stayed longer.

This place is a gem! Quiet peaceful surroundings! Walkable to cider tasting room. Close to Hillsborough. Screened in porch was a joy at night! Wish we could have stayed longer!

This was a really really cute stay. My family and I enjoyed our stay and was surprised how efficient the whole space was regardless off the small home. Very clean, had multiple kitchen utensils, washroom is clean, the sleeping area was quite fun. Lot of options there too. Overall 10/10!! Liz and her co-host were very helpful and responsive.

We loved staying here. One of the best stocked Air BnB's ever. The pool was great. Beautiful views. Comfortable bed. I wish we could have stayed longer.

I was visiting for a wedding and stumbled upon this gem of a property. I travel constantly and stay in airbnbs all around the world and this is one of my favorites. The peace and tranquility is unmatched as you drive down the long driveway you feel like you are being removed from the noise and chaos of the world. The host was so gracious to let me use his John boat and as an avid fisherman this made the trip for me. I was fortunate to net a few trophy bass and the action was incredible. I can't wait to return again and hopefully for a longer stay. The property is only a few minutes from amenities of town but yet you feel hours away from civilization. This truly was a piece of heaven for me, I can't recommend highly enough.

Cabin was great! Beautiful on the inside and located in a very peaceful quiet area. Barrel sauna and fireplace were very nice and enjoyable additions. Host was extremely responsive and helpful.

Stone's Paradise was the perfect weekend getaway! Wendall was a great host and quick to respond. The house was stocked with some essentials, snacks and even fishing worms. My husband started his Saturday morning with complimentary coffee and fishing as there's poles available on site (you'll need your own tackle box). There was also some firewood available at no charge. There are other homes nearby but it was still peaceful and well worth what we paid. We look forward to staying again :)

10/10 would absolutely recommend! Super cozy for a girl's weekend. The grounds are gorgeous, peaceful and private. We loved hanging down by the pond and walking through the woods. Inside is comfy and cozy. I had trouble opening the door when I first got there and Daniel was super responsive, calling within seconds to help me. Of course I was able to get it open right as he answered. The place is perfect and my 5 star review is accurate, we would absolutely stay again - but just a heads up the owners are offering a free return night in exchange for a 5 star review, which may bias some reviews.

Great location! Loved the property and peacefulness of the River and tranquility of every view and fire pit.

This was truly a stunning cabin. The pictures did not do it justice. There are some chickens on the property which was the highlight of the trip for my two sons. My oldest was able to catch fish in the lake. Ben gave very detailed instructions on how to find the cabin and even left us some fresh eggs in the fridge. He responded quickly to my questions. The house was stocked with all needed amenities and the beds were extremely comfortable. The cabin is in a beautiful secluded spot but still very close to the places we wanted to see in Raleigh and Durham. We had a great stay here and would absolutely book again.

Roy’s place was great. My grandchildren didn’t want to leave. they had so much fun. I set up was nice and all the activities was the best. I know where I will be staying when I come back to NC!!!

Beautiful surroundings, a swimming pool, hammocks, plenty of places to gather, soft beds, good coffee, a welcoming, gracious host, close to UNC campus, many things to do and great restaurants ! A hidden gem! Would definitely return!💜❤️♥️

We had an unforgettable stay at this charming cabin in the woods from June 5-8, 2025. The serene setting provided the perfect retreat for my family to get away from the hustle/bustle of city life. The cabin was spacious, immaculately clean, and beautifully decorated, blending rustic charm with modern amenities. We loved cozy evenings and mornings on the porch, surrounded by nature. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare our special birthday meal. The host was incredibly accommodating and responsive, ensuring we had everything we needed. We cherished the memories made here and can’t wait to return! We highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in the woods!
