Townhome holiday rentals in Chania

The villa is superb and the photos are completely as described. Access to the pools is a real pleasure with the overwhelming heat. Air conditioning is a real joy. Definitely recommend.

The place was as described. It was the bottom of a two-story house. Parking is right at the house and access to the apartment is down a flight of stairs. The place was nice, quiet, just like we imagined it. There are several taverns in the place, of which we were only able to try two and were satisfied in both. We were very pleased with the local bakery with great pastries. By car it is approximately 25 minutes to Elafonisi beach and 30 minutes towards Balos.

Very nice house with a great atmosphere. We liked it even better than the pictures. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen that was very well equipped and had everything you needed for home cooking. We spent a lot of time on the big terrace with an astonishing mountain view! The neerby Ancient Lappa Taverna is great and the whole area has a lot of food options and historical places worth visiting. Nearest beach is 12 min in a car. Not the best beach, but there is other better options 25 min in car. Or 45 min to great beaches on the south coast (Damnoni). Eleni was a great host and easy to communicate with. Would definately come back.

We had a fantastic stay at this well-appointed house just a 5-minute stroll to the beach. Erika, the new property manager for 2025, was brilliant—professional and friendly. The house is clean, modern and very comfortable, with everything you need including dishwasher, coffee maker, micrwave and washing machine. We loved the terrace where we watched beautiful sunsets with a glass of wine. , The pool just outside was great for a dip any time. A car is handy for ‘pink’ beaches like Elafonissi, Falarsana (and Balos too, thanks Erika!) and Chania Old Town. We also enjoyed visiting Biolia to learn about olive oil and a winery neerby with tastings. The onsite reception desk were very helpful. Local food was excellent—Maraicabo had superb dishes (huge portions!) and we loved Blé on the beach for small plates, cocktails and sunbeds. For fresh fish Porfira was a winner. We had such a wonderful time and are already looking forward to coming back!

It was a beautiful cottage with a very typical rustic side and at the same time very well equipped and generously well supplied with everything necessary for travelers, sheets, towels, cleaning products… The view from the terrace is stunning, we liked the mountain setting very much, we picked up nuts, figs… happiness. Thanks to these great hosts for hosting us so well with a little wine in the fridge and breakfast for our arrival!

Excellent house, responsive and friendly host. Well equipped kitchen, airconditioned throughout. Minor issue with WiFi was sorted promptly.

If going to Chania (which is great) and wanting to be in Old Town versus at a beach resort outside of town, then this is absolutely the best place to stay. Perfect location right by the harbor, steps to all the local restaurants, and a spectacular view of the harbor and lighthouse. As other reviews state, the road to the entrance and the building is vertical but it truly has the best views from the roof of ANY place in town. And both Vicky and the property manager are so helpful with recommendations and support while there.

Beautiful apartment, well equipped, close to Chania by car. Easy street parking which is very quiet. The apartment is very spacious, it can be suitable for 2 families. Our host's welcome is perfect. The stay around Chania is very pleasant. Recommended!

We rented the whole house (we were 17 members of our family). As only normal, some things didn’t work, but the hostess with her family immediately solved them flawlessly. The house is supper comfortable (4 kitchens!!!), and well compartlized so privacy was kept for who needed it. All restaurants recommend where great (even though it’s hard to eat bad in Crete 🤪) We used for 3 nights a private chef recommended by Chryssavgi (Spyridon Spilos) who was outstanding also (they bring all ingredients, cook, put the table and most importantly, they clean everything afterwards!!!). The pool was also big and super refreshing (and very well kept). In summary, if we come back to Crete, we will be using this house again. Superb overall experience!!!

The villa was simply wonderful. Very modern, nicely decorated. Stavros warmly welcomed us like no Airbnb host ever did before. He gave us a lot of recommandations for our stay and was always available if we needed anything. The location is great, not too far from Chania (8-10mn by car) but at a reasonable distance to be away from the noises of the city ! You should definitely stay there if you want to go to Crete as I guarantee you, you will have a great time there in this villa.

My family had a wonderful stay at this apartment. The location is perfect—nestled near a charming old town, just a short walk from the historic center of Chania. It’s the ideal spot for exploring its winding streets filled with shops, restaurants, tavernas, and scenic harbor that make the town so special. The apartment itself is a perfect blend of comfort and modern style. It’s been thoughtfully designed with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and clearly cared for with attention to detail. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Chania!

The accommodation is beautiful, very well decorated, in the heart of the old town, very close to shops and restaurants. Walking distance to the beach. If we are back in Chania again in Chania, we will be back at Michalis's. Thank you again for your hospitality and kindness.

Our stay in the stone house was nothing short of extraordinary and even far beyond anything we’d expected. The setting is out of this world: utter tranquillity, panoramic views, mornings on the terrace that felt priceless. Evenings brought only silence broken by the soft hooting of owls, and daytime strolls wound through endless olive groves: absolute perfection! Yet you’re still a stone’s throw from a coastal village whose charm completely wins you over after just a few days. Between the character of the house and the nearby shoreline, Crete works its way under your skin and you know you’ll return. Exceptional, above and beyond, downright magical. Top of the tops!

Beautiful house with very good sanitary facilities and beautiful views of Souda Bay. Beautiful little beach with fantastic water in the immediate vicinity.

Just the most perfect holiday home for our young family, amazingly comfortable beds , the children loved the Jacuzzi, all our needs were a short walking distance. It was the perfect location to visit the most popular destinations on the island. We enjoyed Konstantinos grandmother traditional homemade treats! Konstantinos is truly a great host, We were well looked after

we recently stayed here for a family vacation, the place was lovely and well-maintained, offering everything we needed without any issues (we even got brand new coffee machine). The house was amazing not only because of its intact history but thanks to all of the essentials, like towels, bedding, well-equipped kitchen, soap, etc. The house was very clean and the communication with the host was very smooth and pleasant. Overall, we had a wonderful time at this Airbnb and highly recommend it.

Dimitra is by far the best Airbnb host I’ve ever interacted with. Her place had gorgeous views, adequate space, and was extremely clean. I would definitely stay here again. She also made my family feel very welcome to Crete with her warm hospitality and she gave wonderful local recommendations. Dimitra and her place are both awesome!

This house is in a beautiful location - set amongst the pretty little streets of Splantzia. It is a few minutes walk to the harbour and to the many restaurants in the old town. Within a hundred metres or so is a lovely square with shady bars - one of which serves amazing meze (there were foodie walking tour groups coming the Kafenieo Fix to sample to food). There is a Saturday fruit and veg market in the next street where I bought oranges and made juice for breakfast. The house is great. The main room has a very comfortable bed, there is a good sized bathroom, and a lovely garden with lemon tree and scented plants. It is easy to prepare a full meal if you want - the kitchen is very well equipped with a large fridge/freezer, full oven and lots of pots and pans and utensils. These is full aircon in both bedrooms and the main downstairs room. I would definitely recommend this house where you can feel part of the local community while still being very close to all tourist stuff.

The property is well located and furnished. Check-in and out were a breeze. The host is responsive and caring.

Incredible value, we stayed for a week and left at home. The hosts had fast communication and helped giving local restaurants and travel recommendations. I could recommend this place more. If I could give 6/5 stars I would.

We give it a 5/5 because we can't give it a 100/100!!! Our stay was amazing! Manolis and his partner made our stay extraordinary! Very attentive and good advice! I highly recommend this accommodation which is in a quiet and peaceful location! We'll be back with our little family!
