Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Chania

We had a great time at Katerina's place. Check-in was very flexible and even possible before 3 pm. The accommodation was as described, the highlight is of course the whirlpool. We felt very comfortable. Thanks again for the homemade food.

This place was even better than the pictures! There are beautiful lemon and orange tree orchards all around leading to the property. The space is clean, private, and very peaceful. I highly recommend it. You will need a rental car if you are staying here since it is a ways off the beaten path. I would consider the rental car a great compromise for such a beautiful Airbnb. There is a private spot to park so no need to pay for parking.

This house is absolutely stunning! It is even more impressive in person than in the photos. The view took our breath away every morning ! The house is about 10 minutes from Kissamos which is the small town where we bought food to cook at home. I do advise renting a car to get to the surrounding towns and beaches. The host, Ria, was incredibly communicative prior to our arrival and just as accommodating once we got there. Our flight was delayed and we didn’t arrive until almost midnight. She was so kind to provide us with food and coffee for breakfast as well as some olive oil made from her family’s business. Ria was so welcoming and helpful! We felt very safe and at peace in the house (we visited with our 3 children who are 7, 10, and 11). This was by far our favorite vacation and we look forward to returning! We highly recommend! 🙌🏻

What a fabulous place in a great location! Right in the charming old town and close to the water, you wouldn't hope to stay in a better location. The flat is spacious and beautiful, with a lovely terrace. 10/10 would recommend. Thanks so much for the perfect stay!

The apartment was great. Everything was clean and as described. Stelio was a great host and everything went smoothly. There are supermarkets, mini markets and a bus station in walking distance. All in all, Everything was prefect

What a wonderful house! We were surprised to be so close to 2 lovely beaches, great hikes and a delicious restaurant. We’re a family with 3 young kids and they loved the swing, swinging bench, jacuzzi, space to play inside. Dimitris left a baby crib, high chair, and toddler potty for us which was super helpful. The best was Dimitris was very kind upon greeting us late at night when we arrived.

Clean and spacious accommodation on many levels set down from the road- so lots of steps to consider. Set at the top of a breathtakingly beautiful valley overlooking the town and sea nearby and snow capped mountains opposite. Pool was well used and the jacuzzi was a bonus. Comfy beds and a choice of 3 terraces all with shade or sunshine. Traffic noise can echo up the valley at busier times. Local villages and walks from the door are stunning - good beaches nearby and only 50 mins by car from Chania airport. Car necessary to get to town to shop and local amenities. Travel light - there is a washing machine and plenty of towels. Provision of bathroom products, tea, coffee enough for first day. Bring own beach towels. Double glazing excellent for peaceful nights sleep and shutters keep house cool during hot sunny days. Good value for money and our excellent host was superbly responsive after unexpected storm damage.

We immediately fell in love with this villa! The quality of absolutely everything in and around the building is extraordinary. The pictures cannot truly capture how beautiful and well-designed this place is. From the tasteful interior decor to the immaculate outdoor areas, every detail has been carefully thought out to provide both comfort and luxury. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable getaway. We can’t wait to return!

We just returned from a lovely holiday in Crete -and I already miss getting out of bed, going out on the terrace with my morning coffee and saying good morning to the cute and curious cats - enjoy the tranquility and the view. We were so well received with a large fruit basket and such nice instructions about everything in the house. We can give our warmest recommendations for this house and may even return - beautiful area and possible to walk to Købmanden- just as Chania is easily reached by car.

Exactly as the photos and as all other reviewers have said, Christina is fantastic with immediate responses and plenty of advice regarding local attractions. The apartment was so good that we really didn’t want to go out until the sun went down, watching the sunset from the rear high level balcony was just fantastic. Five balconies in total, three at the front and two at the rear meant that the two of us had a ridiculous amount of space. The apartment has everything you need, it is in a very quiet, well heeled area with a fantastic bar and coffee shop just around the corner. The bar is a locals bar, very quiet, well furnished with a lovely atmosphere run by Stelios and his family. Great craft beer, wine etc and it was brilliant to have this amenity so close. Restaurants and a supermarket all within walking distance plus the hidden gem of the magical Venizelou Cafe just over the road. We swam with the locals in the fantastic rock pools and will definitely return soon, thanks Christina.

We absolutely loved our stay! The location was perfect—just a short walk to great restaurants and a beautiful, warm, shallow beach that was perfect for our family. The house itself exceeded our expectations. It was incredibly spacious and had more bathrooms than any Airbnb we've ever booked, which made a big difference for our large group. The pool was a lot of fun, even without heating, and the jacuzzi was a great bonus. The place was spotless and truly felt like a hidden gem right in the city—hard to believe you can find something this nice in such a convenient location. Nicolas, the host, was fantastic. He provided a helpful written guide and surprised us with several thoughtful freebies. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again—highly recommended!

Our stay with Eleftheria and Michalis in Chania was nothing short of exceptional. The house is amazing—spacious, immaculate, and clearly designed with incredible care and attention to detail. The location is superb, and it’s easily one of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. The hosts went above and beyond—warm, welcoming, and always available. They helped us with everything from our early arrival to washing our car, making us feel completely at home. I truly hope to return one day with the rest of our family, and I’d recommend this place to anyone visiting Crete without hesitation.

This little villa was the perfect find for us! On a beautiful little cove with a beach across the street, private pool, very quiet and serene—a great hike up to a cave on the adjoining mountain, restaurants and groceries nearby, drivable to many of the islands locales—but even if you only get to nearby Chania, it’s such a charming town and well worth it. Stavros is the most gracious of hosts, very responsive and thoughtful, left us treats, kitchen was well stocked with basics, and he was full of helpful information to make our stay amazing. Wish we’d stayed here longer, honestly!!

We had a great vacation in this beautiful house. Manolis and his wife Katerina is very accommodating and helpful. We had a lot of questions during our stay and Katerina was always ready to answer and help. And even had a little present for the kids when we left. We felt very welcome :) The house is very clean and nice, so is the spa and the pool and the view from the terrace over the landscape and the ocean is stunning! Our best recommondations for Manolis and Katerinas house!

A wonderful stay in a luxury villa in excellent location The Avrilia Villa was exactly as described. This a clean, spacious modern villa with lots of luxurious touches. We had our 9 month old baby with us, and Dimitris kindly provided a new travel cot and high chair, with blackout curtains in the bedrooms. The pool is a great size, and there a plenty of gathering spaces to eat and socialize. The location is fantastic, a short 2-3 minute walk into the Village with its many tavernas and shops dotted along the beach which is lovely and shallow. Chania airport is about a 40 minute drive away and easily reached by taxi. Dimitris was very responsive and helpful whenever we needed him or had questions. We would happily return in the future
