Apartment holiday rentals in Chania

Probably one of the most amazing places you’ll stay anywhere! The attention to detail when the unit was remodeled, and the furnishings and extras added to make your stay comfortable, are incredible. It is located right in the middle of a vibrant area full of outdoor restaurants, music, and shopping. The hosts are extremely responsive, we were late getting in but that was not a problem. During our stay we unfortunately encountered one of the red dust storms that Chania periodically receives, but they came the next day and cleaned the outer areas. We were lucky with the parking the first three nights, but for some reason the fourth night was a challenge however we did eventually find a garage about 15 minutes away. Also, I would not recommend the unit for younger children or someone unsteady on their feet as the stairs in the unit are quite steep especially to the roof, and there is no washing machine though a laundromat is just a few minutes walk. Would absolutely stay again!

The place is really nice and located right next to the old town which starts as soon as you cross the main road. We used Chania as our base to explore different parts of Crete but at the end of each day when we came back, we were able to enjoy some time in the old town which gets really lively in the evenings. Later at night, we would hang out at our Airbnb and enjoy the surrounding views which were great as it is located on the top floors.

10/10 experience. Breathtaking views and sunset from the balcony, perfect location right on the harbor - surrounded by all of the best restaurants and places. The apartment is beautiful - clean, modern, great appliances. (The washing machine even uses AI). The apartment is spacious, comfortable, and despite being in the middle of the action, it is so peaceful. I didn’t want to leave. I will be back here again. The hosts were incredible. Kind, helpful, proactive, and made such a nice experience for us. Thank you!!!!!

Maryellen communicated really well before and during the stay. The house is a fantastic location but you need a car or taxi to get to local restaurants and into Chania. Maryellen even booked the taxi for us to Chania. The house is fully equipped with everything. The views are amazing over looking the sea. The outside space is great with magical pool. It’s on a hill so probably not suitable for people who find it difficult with stairs and because the pool is an infinity pool you would need to be careful of children in the pool. The house is private and in a quiet location. We will be going back, one of the best Airbnb we have been to.

Highly recommend staying here especially as a solo traveler without a car. The apartment was very modern and comfortable and on a peaceful side street with a beautiful balcony. The host was very communicative and helpful and the housekeeper was very sweet and always checking to make sure everything was ok. They allowed for early check in and luggage storage which was a huge help. I would absolutely stay here again and also for long term. Efxaristo!

What a fantastic apartment in a great location! We truly had a great stay here, the apartment is beautifully decorated, very comfortable, and has everything you need. The stairs to the roof terrace are located outside of the apartment but as the apartment is on the top floor, you do not see anyone. The host is brilliant, very accommodating and incredibly responsive.

Over all the years of using Airbnb, this one ranks right up there with the very best. The place is amazing - the bathroom is really modern, and sparkling clean. The pictures of the room don't do it justice, the jacuzzi in the room with a window overlooking the marina area is a sight to see, and views from the balcony are great, especially when its sunset. Pavlos left us some welcome gifts, which made us feel right at home - and he was really friendly and accommodating in allowing us to leave our bags at the apartment before the room was ready. I don't think you'll find a better place to stay in Chania, and you won't regret booking this! 5*

Pasifai Residence was better than one can expect! The decor has neutral tones, perfectly complimenting the stone accents & medieval architecture of Old Town. The living room is very comfortable & the dining table is ideal for breakfast overlooking the pristine blue water. The kitchen & bathrooms have all the amenities you need & there are even additional items (sugar, coffee, wine, water, fresh fruit, lotion, etc.) thoughtfully provided by the host. The bedrooms have ample space and soft bedding. Bedroom 1 has harbor/water views & although the 2nd does not have windows, surprisingly, that makes it feel like a private hideaway. It is tucked beyond the kitchen, up two short steps & through a whimsical arched wood door that is like entering a magical hobbit home. Konstantinos is a superb host! He was helpful even prior to our arrival, arranging transfers, private tours & help w/luggage. The apartment is in the heart of Old Town with shops and restaurants at your doorstep. 10 stars⭐️!

I stayed in one of the studios in Haleda and it was absolutely perfect for a solo traveler. I really enjoyed the private beach front, the surround sound speakers, extremely comfortable bed and the location. My host was very accommodating and set me up with a wonderful boat tour for Balos and was willing to help in any way she could! If I ever find myself back on Crete I would seek out this company for the exceptional service and well maintained properties.

Cindy and I loved the feeling of sitting on the balcony…taking in the sights of Chania as bathers enjoyed the water and beach below us…and watching the sun set behind the light tower. Kostos was a fantastic host…friendly and helpful! The space was comfortable and clean…snacks and wonderful coffee. A wonderful choice for us!

Truly a great apartment! Fully matched the listing. It is sparkling clean and everything has been thought of: tea, coffee, washing machine, you name it. It is in a quiet area, but at the bottom of the mountain there is a nice restaurant to enjoy the sunset. We had to mess with the jacuzzi for a while: it went on every hour in the middle of the night, but the host responded very quickly and was able to explain to us how we could solve this. We had a wonderful stay, I would recommend it to everyone.

Stayed in this small Airbnb for one night only, as a transition between a previous week-long rental and a flight back home. Loved the neighborhood, much quieter than the bustling and busy streets of old town Chania and yet very close. The room was simple, but very clean, nice bedding, excellent WC, bath and shower. Windows opened right onto a view of the Mediterranean, with a small restaurant balcony perched just by the water. Worth every penny, would stay again.

Extremely beautiful and friendly!

Honestly, it was one of the best Airbnbs I've ever had the opportunity to book! The neighborhood was really quiet and peaceful, The unobstructed view where you can see the sea. What can I say about the apartment... Everything was just amazing! There was all the necessary equipment, impeccable cleanliness, ultra-neat decoration in every detail, small touches on arrival, and our hosts who allowed us to enter the apartment earlier than expected following a complicated night. We didn't have the chance to meet our hosts but they were very responsive, gave us lots of recommendations and addresses. It feels like home. 10 min from the center of Chania, 5 min from the first beach. Really a gem of a place for anyone who wants to relax and feel perfectly at ease. Thank you again for everything, you are exceptional hosts!

Hidden gem! Loved this home, literally two minute walk to Golden Beach. Katerina is so sweet (she met us in-person, had local restaurant recommendations, and even provided a bottle of wine). The home was perfect for our group of 6 (great value for the money, too). Would 100% come again!

Beautiful place and great host

Nina and Rebecca were so helpful throughout our entire stay. The place was beautiful and a great location with waterfront access and walkable to many shops and restaurants. We travelled in late April before the restaurant was open and the pool was too cold to use, but we will definitely return to this wonderful stay when things are in full season.

Andreas was a friendly and responsive host who answered our questions promptly. The flat was well equipped and in an excellent location very close to the old town. We would definitely stay again when next back in Chania!
