Family-friendly holiday rentals in Chania

Es war super schön hier. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und die Kommunikation verlief reibungslos. Die Unterkunft ist wie auf den Bildern. Man ist ein bisschen am Berg oben, was super schön ist, da es dort viel ruhiger ist. In die Stadt und zum Strand kommt man super zu Fuß. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Mein Freund und ich waren 5 Tage in der Unterkunft und waren sehr zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt. Die Wohnung ist im Erdgeschoss eines schönen modernen Hauses. Die Wohnung war sehr gut ausgestattet, es fehlte an nichts. Hervorzuheben ist die schöne Terrasse mit Whirlpool. Die Lage ist super. Es sind circa 15 Minuten Autofahrt bis zum Zentrum Chanias. Mehrere Strände sind fussläufig zu erreichen. Das Haus selbst ist ruhig gelegen. Es bietet einen guten Ausgangspunkt, um Kreta zu erkunden. Katerina und ihr Mann sind tolle Gastgeber. Bei Ankunft erwartete uns ein frischer griechischer Salat, Orangen und Wein. Wir bekamen ein paar Tage später frisches Gemüse aus dem Garten. Katerina war stets erreichbar und sehr freundlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Insgesamt würden wir die Unterkunft weiter empfehlen! 5/5 Sterne!

Book this Airbnb. Do not think twice. Nice to be greeted with wine and snacks after the flight over. 3 styles of coffee makers with coffee. Sugar, spices, olive oil and balsamic to get you started. 4 bedroom 3 full baths. Great living and cooking areas. Very spacious for our group of 7. Clean and comfortable. Equipped with everything you could ask for. We made a few terrific meals with the grill and kitchen equipment. Harilao has put a lot of thought and planning in to his home. Gorgeous outdoor space with heated pool. Indoors is clean and uncluttered. The views are lovely. 1 minute on walk up the street to fresh bread daily and cute market. 3 minute walk down the street is a bigger market. 4 minute walk to my favorite beach. 8 Euro for 2 chairs and an umbrella. Bar right there if you want a drink. Walk to coffee, pastries, restaurants and bars near by. We loved the home and beach so much that we slipped a few day trips. 5 stars. I hope to come back! Unser Aufenthalt in Chania war wunderbar. Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig und die Aussenbereiche wunderschön. Ioanna war sehr gut erreichbar und freundlich.

Hidden gem! Loved this home, literally two minute walk to Golden Beach. Katerina is so sweet (she met us in-person, had local restaurant recommendations, and even provided a bottle of wine). The home was perfect for our group of 6 (great value for the money, too). Would 100% come again!

Wir haben 3 wunderschöne Wochen in Manos House verbracht, das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße, es hat einen sehr schönen Garten in dem man wunderbar verweilen kann, nur wenige Gehminuten vom Strand und den Restaurants entfernt. Abends haben wir bei einem Glas Wein auf dem Balkon gesessen auf und den Sonnenuntergang genossen. Stavros ist ein kleiner ruhiger Ort in dem man sehr schnell in den Urlaubsmodus kommt und die Zeit einfach nur genießen kann. Wir haben uns in dem Haus sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen bestimmt noch mal wieder.

A lovely, luxury appartment near the beach and about 30 minutes' walk from the old town of Chania. A well-equipped, clean and beautiful appartment, but above all the warm and friendly hostess Anastasia. She guided us around the area, brought local delicacies, stocked the fridge with food and even drove us to the grocery store with her car. We really enjoyed our stay at the appartment and can wholeheartedly recommend it to others. You certainly wont't be disapointed!

Εξαιρετική εμπειρία!! Μείναμε σε αυτό το υπέροχο Airbnb και πραγματικά ξεπεράστηκαν οι προσδοκίες μας. Ο χώρος ήταν πεντακάθαρος, άνετος και πολύ προσεγμένος – αλλά αυτό που έκανε πραγματικά τη διαφορά ήταν το προσωπικό. Από την πρώτη στιγμή μας υποδέχτηκαν με ευγένεια, χαμόγελο και αυθεντική φιλοξενία. Ήταν πάντα διαθέσιμοι για ό,τι χρειαστήκαμε, πρόθυμοι να βοηθήσουν με χαρά και καλή διάθεση. Δεν ένιωθες απλώς επισκέπτης – ένιωθες καλεσμένος! Η αίσθηση ζεστασιάς και σεβασμού που μας έδειξαν έκανε τη διαμονή μας πραγματικά αξέχαστη. Τέτοια εξυπηρέτηση σπανίζει και αξίζει να αναγνωρίζεται. Το προτείνουμε ανεπιφύλακτα και σίγουρα θα επιστρέψουμε! 🙌✨

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in dem wunderschönen, traditionellen Haus. Wir liebten es! Es ist sehr geräumig, draußen wie wie drinnen gibt es viele Sitzmöglichkeiten. Alles ist sehr sauber und es waren sehr viele Extras vorhanden. Inmitten alter Olivenbäume konnten wir im Schatten entspannen und die Stille genießen. Der kleine Pool war perfekt für eine Erfrischung! Es gibt einige Restaurants, welche wir zu Fuß durch die griechische Landschaft erreichen konnten. Einige der schönsten Strände waren gut erreichbar. Viele Empfehlungen erhielten wir von der tollen Gastgeberin. Dimitra hatte uns herzlich empfangen und uns mit Köstlichkeiten versorgt. Sogar der Kühlschrank war mit kleinen Annehmlichkeiten gefüllt, sodass wir nach der Anreise Essen und Entspannen konnten. So einen großzügigen Empfang haben wir noch nicht erlebt. Wir können es sehr empfehlen und möchten wiederkommen!

Séjour très agréable chez Irène. Maison très bien située au milieu des oliviers et à proximité de beaucoup d endroits. Irène est une personne très accueillante, gentille, attentionnée.....nous avons eu droit à des petites spécialités en arrivant et en rentrant le soir.... je recommande grandement . Merci Irène

Kostas muy amable, nos esperaba con un aperitivo y un kuchen increíble! el lugar estaba realmente frente a la playa, podíamos ir y volver caminando. Supermercado y restaurantes muy cerca.

Andreas und Georgia waren unglaublich gastfreundlich, hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar, wenn man Fragen hatte. Gleichzeitig haben sie einem aber auch alle Freiheiten gelassen. Besonders schön fand ich die kleinen persönlichen Aufmerksamkeiten, die den Aufenthalt wirklich besonders gemacht haben. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen und kann die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank für alles – ihr seid fantastische Gastgeber!

Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war einwandfrei. Wir haben uns sehr über den vegetarischen Pie und alles andere, was er zur Verfügung gestellt hat, gefreut. Es gab frisches Obst, Tomaten etc. sehr zuvorkommend. Man kann vom Standort aus zahlreiche Ausflüge machen. Der Garten ist weitläufig. Es war alles tiptop. Vielen Dank an Ioannis, seiner Frau und vor allem seiner Mama für den sehr leckeren Pie!

Stayed here from June 9 - June 13, our reservation was for two people. Mano was very kind and accommodating to us. We took a ferry to Heraklion, rented a car, and drove to the Airbnb. No trouble finding it, and having a private parking space in this location is a HUGE plus! Chania parking and driving is very chaotic. Airbnb was very generously stocked with espresso pods, Ouzo, items from the hosts bakery (the banana bread was incredible), a bottle of water, and more. Everything we needed! Excellent local recommendations and a super market within a short walk. Everything worked perfectly and was very clean too! Would 100% recommend and stay here again!

This was by far my best Airbnb experience ever. I actually had the chance to stay in both of Georgios’ beautiful homes – which is why you might see this review twice – and I truly loved them both. The Airbnbs are nestled in a lush garden full of peacocks, lovely dogs, cats and birds – it honestly feels like a little piece of paradise. It’s quiet, peaceful and the perfect place to slow down and recharge. Georgios told me he built the houses himself, and you can feel the love and care in every little detail. The architecture is unique and full of character – it’s a truly magical spot. Georgios and his wife are wonderful hosts: warm, helpful and always available if you need anything, but never intrusive. I’ll definitely be coming back to this special place. Thank you for everything!

Wonderful Experience at the Villa Elias! Our stay at the villa was perfect. The sea view was breathtaking, especially during sunset – a true sense of calm, quiet, and complete privacy. Choosing this villa was an excellent decision, especially because of the heated pool, which the kids absolutely loved. They enjoyed both swimming and playing in the spacious garden. The villa is well-equipped, with many useful items that made our stay very comfortable, including an air pump for pool toys. The location is also great – close to shops, supermarkets, and pharmacies. Highly recommended for families looking for a peaceful and convenient holiday with children. Wissam,

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. In der Villa ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht und innen ist alles sehr gepflegt. In der Küche gibt es Tee, Olivenöl und Kräuter. Die Terrasse und Pool sind toll! Der Pool liegt so wie auf dem letzten Foto zu sehen. Die ersten zwei Tage war sehr starker Wind, dann weniger, aber auf jeden Fall haben wir und unsere 3 Kinder es absolut genossen, dass der Pool beheizt wurde. Danke dafür! Unterhalb des Grundstücks ist gerade eine Baustelle, was für den Ausblick zur einen Seite schade ist, sonst aber nicht wirklich störend war. Maria haben wir persönlich leider nicht kennengelernt, aber die Kommunikation mit ihr war unkompliziert und nett. Wir empfehlen die Villa auf jeden Fall weiter.

Wir wurden sofort super herzlich vom Vermieter empfangen. Die Unterkunft war traumhaft schön, der Anblick kaum zu beschreiben. Die Zimmer und die Anlage waren sehr gepflegt. Der Vermieter super nett, aber gar nicht aufdringlich. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Great apartment with pool and nice view of the sea. Kitchen is well equipped. But, we did not realise one of the bedroom is small.

We hebben als gezin twee fantastische weken gehad in Villa Emanuelle. Het was een fantastisch verblijf waar met liefde en aandacht van de host alles tot in de puntjes verzorgd was. Altijd bereikbaar voor tips en bijzonder behulpzaam in de voorbereiding. Niets was te veel en zelf een gevulde koelkast bij aankomst. de Kreteense gastvrijheid in optima forma. Met recht een parel van een villa!

Nassos's was a great host, provided link and websites to use for bookings. Was always responsive and also accommodate all my requests at his best. We did not stay long to use the pool, but have to say one of the best looking and cleanest pool I have seen in Crete!

We had the best time staying at Tanja’s amazing studio. From the second we arrived, we were struck by the beautiful landscape of flowers and orange trees. The pool and patio were so peaceful and the studio was incredible clean and accommodating. The highlight of the stay was Tanja’s excellent recommendations of beaches, tavernas, and excursions. She was both incredibly friendly and communicative. We’d definitely stay again.

Nektaria et Nikos sont des hôtes exceptionnels - accueillants, attentionnés et généreux avec leurs conseils et produits maison (confitures, fruits frais et raki), on l'impression d'être reçu par des membres de la famille. La maison est parfait et rien ne manque et elle se trouve dans un emplacement idéal pour se détendre tout en restant proche des principales attractions de la partie Ouest de la Crete.
