Great place to stay very close to the city!!

Beautiful apartment, backyard is very generous, large kitchen and lounge. Walking distance to beautiful beach, restaurants, short drive to supermarkets. The place had everything you need plus more and treats on arrival. Would highly recommend for families. Beautiful to relax in the backyard and enjoy a BBQ.

Only good things to say about Manolis’s place! It’s an easy walk to the waterfront but off the main drag; if you want to stay closer to home, there are many restaurants and grocery stores nearby. It’s spacious, squeaky clean, and quiet, and the free parking is a *huge* plus. We used Manolis’s apartment as a base for vacation and remote work, and it was perfect for both purposes (bonus points for the standing desk, a first in our Airbnb experience!). Manolis was a great host, too: friendly, fast to respond, and helpful. Couldn’t ask for more!

Eftihios’s BNB was a great part of our stay in Chania. Very clean, and the host was very helpful to us. This place was a great location that had easy access to the city, but gets you just outside of the hustle and bustle. Balcony was a great place to ever look the city with a coffee, would stay here if we are back in Chania

The most beautiful apartment in an amazing location with only a short car ride to both the town and airport. Will definitely be going back in summer, with the private pool being the perfect size and you get the sun all day!

Die Lage der Wohnung am Rand der Altstadt ist super. Im 6. Stock war es sehr ruhig. Von der Couch aus konnte ich über die Dächer der Stadt bis ans Meer schauen. Das Wetter war 4 Tage regnerisch, aber in der gemütlichen Wohnung machte es mir nichts aus. Ich habe mich schnell in der Umgebung zurecht gefunden. Ca. 100 m von der Wohnung entfernt gibt es einen kleinen Supermarkt mit sehr gutem Angebot an kretischem Käse und weiteren Lebensmitteln. Andere Supermärkte sind fußläufig in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen. In der direkten Umgebung habe ich kaum Touristen getroffen. Das Café im Erdgeschoss des Hauses bietet kleine Snacks und sehr guten Cappuccino. Hervorragend auch das Kipos Café im nahen Stadtpark. Muss man sich unbedingt von innen ansehen! Ich nahm an einer geführten Radtour mit Theo (angeboten über diese App)durch die Randbezirke teil, die mir sehr gut gefallen hat. Für Chania sollte man mindestens 5 Tage einplanen. Sofia hat mich bei allen Anliegen sehr gut unterstützt.

Nikos and Katerina were great hosts. They greeted us in person and had a few items to get us started - wine, water, eggs, bacon, snacks. It was perfect since we arrived late. The airbnb is very nice and the surrounding grounds and pool are beautiful. Very clean and well maintained. We recommend staying there!

Overall a great place to stay. Very clean, modern, nice pool and close walk yo a very nice beach. Host was accomodating for late checkout and there was a nice package of snacks and water for us to get started. Overall we had a great time.

Wir waren wirklich mehr als zufrieden in der Villa. Sehr luxuriös, sehr gute Ausstattung, sehr sauber und sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin! Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Wir hatten einen großartigen Aufenthalt! Besonders hervorzuheben ist die ruhige Lage – perfekt, um dem Alltag zu entfliehen und wirklich zur Ruhe zu kommen. Die Architektur des Hauses ist beeindruckend: durchdacht, modern und gleichzeitig sehr gemütlich. Ein kleiner Hinweis für zukünftige Gäste: Ein Auto ist empfehlenswert, da die Unterkunft eher abgeschieden liegt und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten oder Restaurants nicht fußläufig erreichbar sind. Für uns war das aber kein Problem – im Gegenteil, es hat zur Entspannung beigetragen.

Emplacement du logement idéal car à 10min à pieds de Chania. Le plus du logement, c'est le petit parking pour la voiture de location. Le logement est idéal pour 4 personnes maximum car la salle de bain est assez petite, et il est difficile d'y faire sécher toutes les serviettes (vacances en avril, sèche difficilement). On trouve toutes les commodités dans Chania (pharmacies, supérette et restaurants) et la ville est très jolie, avec des vues splendides. Olga est très réactive et accueillante et répond rapidement par message à nos sollicitations. Merci pour ce séjour de 8 jours dans votre logement.

Despite being a bit unfortunate with the weather, we had an excellent time staying at Star Luxury Villa. We were a family of 11 from 3 generations and it was ideal for us. The villa is top quality and we loved the facilities, especially the playground area, the heated pool and the outdoor eating area. The view over the olive trees to the sea was beautiful. The communication with Holiways was excellent right from initial enquiry and the owner, Manos was fantastic. He was friendly and attentive - always available to answer any questions and provide advice on places to go. He even happily picked up some food from the supermarket ready for our arrival as we got there late in the evening. It is a 10 minute walk into the village of Galatas and there is a bakery, cafe, butcher, a couple of shops and a few small restaurants. We particularly enjoyed the food and atmosphere at Mastrapas. We would definitely recommend and happily go again.

After 24 hours of travel, we were tired and hungry but without a rental car until the following day. We were greeted with a fresh out of the oven Pastichio and Greek salad; what a relief. The property is well-maintained and quiet. The road is wide for the area and the traffic is minimal. Our host was friendly without being intrusive. The house was clean and well-decorated. Parking was on-site and secured by a gate, though I doubt that a layer of security is necessary in this restive town (Prines). I left my rental motorcycle on the street most of the time and it was unmolested. The main level bedroom does not have A/C so you need to be ready for that. Walking into town is doable but might be better with a car (tight parking) and even better on a scooter or motorcycle. Three great restaurants (Giannikos, Olive, and Veranta), a pharmacy, and a grocery are in the center of town. Be warned that the water pressure was problematic during our two weeks in Prines. We will stay here again.
