Cabin holiday rentals in Chama

Beautiful view of the lake. It was very peaceful. Place had lots of cups and utensils and cooking pans. Also had lots of cooking oil and butter and spices for cooking. Even had a grill to use. Hot tub was perfect. Place had no ac but like the instructions mentioned to leave a window open and it keeps the house cool. Upstairs had a fan. Also had washer and dryer which came in handy. A dog door, dog bowls and dog bed. It was dog loving cabin. Can’t wait to stay here again in the future.

Our two families with a bunch of kiddos had an amazing time here! There was tons of things for the kids to do and a nice little hot tub for the adults and a fire pit to make s’mores in. Would definitely stay again.

The house was in a great location, just 1/2 a mile from my son’s house. The house was well stocked for my dog. I didn’t need to bring my crate! The projector TV was too high tech for me, but we did not need to use it. It was a lovely stay. I hope I can book again next year.

We totally enjoyed our stay at Bear's Den. It is everything we usually look for in a place to stay. Beautiful location. CLEAN. Well maintained. And allowed our pups to stay with us. It was a little small for the 6 of us....but overall worked out well. The back deck was my favorite and we enjoyed eating and relaxing on the deck. The nearby lake was really fun to take a rental boat and explore. We also visited Mesa Verde and took the grandchildren on the Durango Silverton train. We would highly recommend Bear's Den. There was some confusion on arrival, totally my fault, but Fairly was friendly and quick to respond and resolve the situation. The accommodation was clean with a comfortable stay, a well equipped kitchen and lovely and warm when we arrived. We thoroughly enjoyed using the hot tub both the evening of arrival and morning before we left. This cabin is highly recommended

If you are looking for a true cabin in the woods —- one that feels like something from another time and also has a jetted tub and SUUUPER comfy beds this is your place. It is cozy, peaceful, and surrounded by absolute beauty. The aspens are amazing and the lake is like a 2 minute drive. We had such a wonderful time and felt right at home. I can’t recommend this cabin enough.

We stayed at cabin #4 Twilight. The cabin was so great. Super cute and cozy. It snowed 2 ft when we were there and it was a winter wonderland. The biggest complaint: The furnace was loud at night.

Overall we had a great time. The cabin was so charming and inviting. Very well stocked kitchen. Would be perfect for a long stay. We did notice 3 wasps and 2 large ants in the cabin. We realize this out in the mountains. We plan to come back next year and stay here again. We saw a deer that came very near to the cabin and it made the experience magical. We are not into fishing and we don't own a boat, but the Vallecito lake is the main attraction for those who do. We did go to the lake and walk along the shore as there was trails. Highly recommend.

The Cedar Cabin was a lovely little cabin! It was perfect for a quick ski trip - close to the resort and close to town while still offering solitude and wonderful access to nature. The cabin was cozy and comfortable. The farm pups and barn cat made for friendly companions around the property too which was a highlight for our group. We look forward to returning again!

Rene was truly a delight to work with. Her place is so welcoming, beautiful surroundings, great lake house feel, very comfortable beds, everything we needed and more! We're really looking forward to returning in the future. Thank you, Rene!

Our stay at Fox Den was excellent! Melissa, the host, was helpful, friendly, and answered the questions I had right away. She also provided some great local eating recommendations. The cabin itself was roomy and well equipped. We had all the amenities we needed. Each room has its own bathroom, which was well appreciated. The game room was a nice touch. The location of the cabin was the best feature. Very close to town and a short drive to Wolf Creek Ski. The views were beautiful and we loved watching the sunset from the porch. Highly recommend staying here!!

What a beautiful and very peaceful cabin right on the river! We loved every minute and hated to leave.

We purchased this trip as a Christmas gift for my FIL. He was able to invite his brother from CA and a good friend of his from CO. (I did try to convince them to take our granddaughter, but there is a 4 person max, so it was a no go!) My husband was more of the pack mule lol. We have already decided to book a trip again for just the two of us! So I can experience it and Sean can actually enjoy the trip and fish! I am excited and cannot wait to go! As a hostess, Bethany is top tier! You will not be disappointed!!

Fun spot tucked between Vallecito Lake and mountains. Our kids loved the bunk room and the patio was great and relaxing! We really appreciated Barney’s hospitality. We would stay here again.

We had a short but wonderful stay at Patrick’s house. He communicated early in the day on the first day of our stay with clear instructions. We had no issues finding or getting into the house. The house was a great size for our family of 4. The house was spotless. The beds and linens were extremely comfortable. We enjoyed using the fire pit to make s’mores- Patrick provided a basket with everything we needed to make them! There is plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the beautiful views of the mountains. The house is peaceful and private, but it was an easy drive both to Great Sand Dunes National Park (the reason we were coming through Alamosa) as well as town for any restaurants or grocery needs. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect mountain getaway for our Thanksgiving family ski trip The spotless house is just 30 minutes from the slopes with a well-equipped kitchen that served us perfectly for holiday cooking. Comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, and a cozy space for everyone to relax. Fantastic find.

My family loved our days tucked in this cozy cabin in the mountains. We enjoyed hikes nearby. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The neighborhood was friendly and quiet. We grilled and enjoyed the yard, including daily visits from deer!

It had just snowed several inches. Sherry had just had the road cleared with a plow. Entry and porches all cleared of snow. Firewood stocked with plenty of cut pine. House was already warm. Kitchen was well amended with modern appliances. Breathtaking, but private views of the snow covered foothills.
