Nice place in Macomb and much more comfortable than a hotel - and pet friendly. Clean, tidy and as described. Would come back.

We immediately felt very comfortable; everything was as described (actually, even better!) and we felt like we were staying at an old friends house. Super clean, with everything needed if you want to prepare your own meals. It was just the two of us, so we had plenty of room. I think it would also be perfect for a small family. We felt safe and the area was quiet and convenient. We spent most of our time in Springfield, which was an easy 30 min drive. We loved being able to come back to Petersburg to relax. Highly recommend this property; the owners were a joy to work with!!

The house contained everything you would use at home-supplies, linens, all presented in an attractive fashion. Kitchen was outstanding and offered a multitude of cooking gadgets, utensils and prep necessities. AC was phenomenal. Very tasteful decor.

We had a great stay at this cozy cottage! It was super clean and comfortable and well stocked. We really appreciate being able to stay there with our 2 pups. The fenced in yard was great for them to stretch their legs after a long day in the car. Will definitely stay here again!

Thanks for a great weekend! Mike and Amy shared great directions and tips for check in. we used this spot as a home base for visiting family with my two senior dogs. The open floor plan and tidiness were perfect for my dogs needs. They even had a dog/baby gate to use-- so thoughtful.

Outstanding house and very friendly neighbors, would absolutely book again if ever back for work, the house is perfect for a large family or crew and very comfortable

We had a great stay! The place was so cozy, the decor was so cute, and the whole house was very clean (and the towels smelled amazing!😊) She was a great communicator and had very clear instructions on how to check in and out. Great for a little weekend trip! Would definitely stay again!

I came here with a few of my friends to get away from life. It was such a blast!! We went crazy with karaoke, had a movie night, and really enjoyed sitting on the deck, it was so peaceful and relaxing! Theresa was super friendly and helpful with everything. I would definitely come back here!

Great place for multiples families with kids. The layout was perfect. Kids were happy, and parents were able to relax.

Our large group had a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend at Stacy's beautiful home! The spacious kitchen, large dining area, and cozy living room were perfect for gathering and spending time together. Although the weather was cooler than usual and we didn’t get to enjoy the water, we made the most of our stay with plenty of other IBK activities—pickleball, the 5K/2-mile fun run, relaxing in the hot tub, and the Sunday night concert were all highlights. This was our 17th year renting at IBK, and Stacy's home had the best kitchen and entertaining space we've experienced so far! The lower-level bunk area and large sectional couch were ideal for our teenagers to sleep and hang out. We’re already looking forward to the chance to rent Stacy’s place again!

Great location, all the amenities you could ask for, loved the bath tub and hot tub! Super clean and comfy! Our family loved it! It was the perfect get away after a busy day in the city!

We had a wonderful time staying at the cabin. It was so private and peaceful surrounded by all the beautiful green trees. It rained most of the time that we were there, but that didn’t really matter as it was still lovely to soak in the cedar tub and spend time in the sauna and outside on the deck. The inside of the house was very cozy. We really enjoyed our time kayaking on the lake in Innsbrook and the drive around the property was beautiful.

Renee was a great host with quick response time and provided added resources for what shelbyville had to offer. The house exceeded our expectations and we appreciated all the amenities that the house had to offer- will be recommending to other organizations to use for retreats!

Karissa’s home was super clean. The neighborhood was charming and check in was a breeze. She had lots of great little extras through the whole house as well as information about the neighborhood. This place is by far the best air bnb I’ve stayed in while visiting St. Louis!

Charming step into the past fitting for a visit to Hannibal to explore the life and times of Mark Twain. If you want modern bathroom luxury then maybe it won’t be for you but the clawfoot tub with shower and other antique bathroom furnishings was a quaint and functional experience. Kitchen was well stocked - even parchment paper for the oven that we were happy to find. The historic home has everything you need to be comfortable but yet feel like you’re in a living museum with a life and past of its own. It’s filled with beautiful antique furniture and tastefully done to mix old and new. Plenty of street parking and walking distance to most local sites and two grocery stores not far away. Enjoyable experience.

We love Innsbrook and always have a good time. We liked this house, but I will put out there as a warning, that the walk down to the dock is VERY steep and may not be the best option for little kids or older guests. The stay was great, but we definitely needed to take caution when walking down the steep walkway to the dock. We were told that repairs are coming for the wood walkway, so we were happy to hear that for future guests.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your beautiful little cabin! Everything was immaculate, charming, and comfortable! The kitchen and bathroom were very well stocked. The area around the home was so pretty and peaceful. And, the candlelight to come home to in the evening was a special touch! Highly recommend this home! Brittany was a very gracious host!!

Our stay was perfect! Staying at the cabin was peaceful and just what my family and I needed. We had a wonderful time and loved being able to just be together as a family in nature. If anyone wants a peaceful stay with great hosts this place is where you want to stay! We would definitely stay here again!

I had an awesome stay! The Airbnb was spotless and smelled amazing the moment I walked in. Everything was incredibly clean and well-maintained, which made it feel super comfortable and inviting. The location was perfect — right in downtown Effingham, which was peaceful and quiet, yet close to everything I needed. Michael was a fantastic host — very responsive and helpful throughout the stay. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Beautiful building, I loved staying here! The setting made me want to play guitar and check out the acoustics and use the space as a cool setting to record a video for a song. I asked if she had a guitar I could play and one was brought to my door in minutes. Thank you so much!

The place was better then expected! Beautiful home out in the country... out problems were phones went in and out when trying to find the house so write down direction.. its easy to find then.. also because im old and crazy we locked ourselfs out.. never lock the bottom lock ugh.. anyways adrin was the best! so nice to be out in the country and saw the strawberry moon!

We are so lucky to have found the Snug Owl. Located in a quiet neighborhood,it was what we needed to just unwind and relax. It’s perfect for two people, very cozy clean and comfortable. Close to Starved Rock for some hiking and nice local restaurants. We can’t wait to come back. We loved our stay and Sonya was terrific. The house has everything you think you need and more. We just can’t say enough about The Snug Owl and Sonya.
