The Sacred White Shell Mountain Campground

EvelynRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Campsite was gorgeous! The mountains overlooking the site and all of the space, it was perfect. Dogs had plenty of room to run, it was quiet, and about 2-30 mins to the entrance of the Great Sand Dunes NP. Lothar was very communicative and very nice! Follow directions on the listing once you get to the dirt road instead of following google maps. HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you love camping and roughing it!

We had such a great time camping here. Peace, no one in sight, and stars forever. Great hiking nearby.

"M" Moose Studio Cabin with private hot tub

MariaRating, 5 stars1 day ago
There was some confusion on arrival, totally my fault, but Fairly was friendly and quick to respond and resolve the situation. The accommodation was clean with a comfortable stay, a well equipped kitchen and lovely and warm when we arrived. We thoroughly enjoyed using the hot tub both the evening of arrival and morning before we left. This cabin is highly recommended

This place was perfect for an overnight stay with the kids to watch the crane festival. Kalli & David are always welcoming in their correspondences and I really enjoy how unique their places are.

The Sweetwater Ranch

MichelleRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a short but wonderful stay at Patrick’s house. He communicated early in the day on the first day of our stay with clear instructions. We had no issues finding or getting into the house. The house was a great size for our family of 4. The house was spotless. The beds and linens were extremely comfortable. We enjoyed using the fire pit to make s’mores- Patrick provided a basket with everything we needed to make them! There is plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the beautiful views of the mountains. The house is peaceful and private, but it was an easy drive both to Great Sand Dunes National Park (the reason we were coming through Alamosa) as well as town for any restaurants or grocery needs. We would definitely stay here again!

Headwater Hideout

PaulRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Amazing little farm house surrounded by a working farm. For you city slickers like us, you will love the change of pace and peaceful vibe it brings. From the wood stove to the kitchen table, it distinctly tells you to just chill for a bit. There’s even an old rotary phone that you will definitely want to give a spin to bring back a memory. Overall, a great property for a nice reboot back to the good old days.

CrestDomes: Stargazers Paradise

Our recent stay at this property was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless—check-in was effortless, instructions were clear, and we immediately felt at home. It’s rare to find a place that perfectly balances comfort, convenience, and entertainment, but this one absolutely delivered on every front. The accommodations themselves were outstanding. Every detail felt thoughtfully curated, from the stylish yet cozy decor to the spotless cleanliness of the space. The unit was incredibly well-stocked with everything we could possibly need—plush linens, a fully equipped kitchen, and even thoughtful extras that made the stay feel elevated. It was the kind of place where you could unpack and instantly unwind. What really stood out, though, was the sheer number of things to do—both inside and outside the unit. Indoors, there were multiple entertainment options to suit any mood: games, streaming services, and comfortable lounge areas perfect for relaxin
