Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Castello, Venice

This place was great and suited our needs perfectly, the condo was clean, the two bedrooms were great for us and our kids, and it had all the necessary amenities. The host was very nice and easy to communicate with. We loved the location, and very close to the canal for water buses/ferries.

Beautiful view and right next to Farragona water/boat taxi. The hostess was wonderful- flexible with our check-in/out. Easy to communicate. The apartment is spacious and clean. We always felt safe. It is a more quiet area and that was just what I was hoping - peaceful and relaxing.

Sehr schönes, kleines, gut eingerichtetes Haus in einem ruhigen, netten Viertel von Venedig, nahe der Biennale, alles ist zu Fuß erreichbar und einige gute Restaurants sind ganz in der Nähe. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen

Great location near the Biennale, but away from the tourist crowds. Marco was very friendly and responsive. Would recommend to anyone going to the Biennale or a quiet place 10 mins from central Venice

My family absolutely loved our stay here! Valentina & Andrea were amazing hosts. They were so kind and attentive and helped us with everything we needed and more. The place exceeded our expectations! It was very clean and well equipped. We got to start our mornings with a tasty espresso. The decor was beautiful and the view was just stunning! Murano was peaceful compared to Venice, which we loved. We can't wait to come back here again, wish we could have stayed longer! seit vielen jahren fahre ich zur biennale nach venedig. die wohnung im cannaregio war für mich perfekt! sie liegt im ersten stock mit fenster zum kanal. trotz der vielen lokale in der umgebung ist die wohnung angenehm ruhig und hell und von sofia geschmackvoll und mit liebe zum detail eingerichtet und ausgestattet. aircontition ist perfekt eingestellt, sodass es immer eine angenehme temperatur in den räumen hat und ich habe in dem großen bett hervorragend geschlafen. check-in und -out haben bestens geklappt, da sofia mir alle infos zukommen ließ, die notwendig waren. danke sofia!

Die Unterkunft von Laurence hat uns äusserst gut gefallen. Sie ist sehr geschmackvoll, wertig und schlicht gestaltet und bietet alles für einen bequemen Aufenthalt in Venedig. Die Lage ist für den Besuch der Biennale besonders praktisch, gleichzeitig ist sie mit dem Boot einfach zu erreichen und auch San Marco ist fussläufig erreichbar. Laurence hat uns alle nötigen Informationen frühzeitig mitgeteilt und sie war stets gut erreichbar. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und können es nur weiterempfehlen.

Wir hatten eine wirklich wunderbare Zeit. Superschöne Wohnung mit Hammer-Dachterrasse in unserer Lieblingslage: Parallel zur Via Garibaldi, gleich ums Eck vom Giardini und nur eine Station bis zum Lido. Die Wohnung liegt direkt an einer kleinen Brücke, die zum Arsenale führt. Zum Markusplatz sind es auch nur wenige Minuten. Die Ausstattung war sehr hübsch, typisch venezianisch und es war wirklich alles da, was man braucht. Küche und Bad sind geräumig, und es gibt eine tolle kleine Bibliothek mit Kunstbüchern. Der Check-in mit Schlüsselübergabe hat perfekt geklappt. Vielen Dank, Yumi!

Lage, Sauberkeit, Kommunikation, alles war perfekt. Sowohl die bekannten Sehenswürdigkeiten als auch ruhige und grüne Bereiche waren schnell und gut zu erreichen. Sehr gute Küchenausstattung, hübscher Innenhof. Ich komme gern wieder.

Ilaria and Andrea’s place was absolutely amazing. It’s perfect location and being right on the canal you will see gondolas and boats going by all day. The place has incredible interior design and it has everything necessary for a great stay in Venice. A special thank you to Ilaria for setting up our water taxi to take us back to the airport at 4 am.

Ema's apartment is in a great location — really close to a vaporetto stop and San Marco, but away from crowds of tourists on a really quiet calle. There are grocery stores and nice cafes and restaurants nearby. The apartment is really well equipped and is super comfortable. A nice place to relax and enjoy Venice.

Le séjour dans le logement Casa Davide s'est très bien déroulé. Nous étions 4 adultes et cela correspondait complètement à notre attente. Le logement était spacieux et la salle de bain dispose d'une fenêtre ce qui est agréable. Il est très bien situé dans un quartier vivant mais calme à l écart du flux touristique. La coopérative est toute proche et c est bien pratique. L'arrêt du vaporetto est également très pratique pour se déplacer dans Venise et assure aussi la liaison avec l'aéroport , très utile quand on a un vol très tôt. Je connaissais déjà le quartier que j' apprécie beaucoup ce qui a orienté mon choix vers ce logement et je n'ai pas été déçue. Notre séjour a été très agréable et nous reviendrons avec plaisir dans ce logement que nous recommandons.

This Airbnb is perfectly located. You are in a neighborhood with a local watering hole at the corner and a butcher around the bend, but San Marco Basilica is just a 10 minute walk. The water bus station and the Grand Canal is 5 minutes away. Marco was always available for anything we needed.

Ottimo posto dove soggiornare a Venezia. Appartamento confortevole e accogliente in una zona tranquilla, vicino a Piazza San Marco, con facile accesso ai mezzi pubblici.

Die Gastgeber waren sehr hilfreich und haben uns von der Vaporetto-Station abgeholt.
 Wenn man - so wie wir - Ruhe schätzt, liegt die Wohnung optimal: Die Dachgeschoss-Wohnung liegt in einer kleinen Gasse, ist sehr ruhig und weit weg von allen Touristenströmen, es gibt weder Lärm von draussen noch von Bewohnern der Nachbarschaft. Andereseits befindet sich in unmittelbarer Nähe die quirligen Via Garibaldi mit Geschäften und Restaurants. Die Anbindung an die Vaporettos ist optimal. 
Besonders geliebt haben wir den Balkon mit Blick über die Häuserdächer hinweg auf die grünen Bäume der Viale Garibaldi. Zum Sonnenschutz gibt eine elektrische Markise. Zudem hat die Wohnung zwei sehr leistungsfähige Klimaanlagen.

Les propriétaires sont d'une gentillesse incroyable ! Frederico est même venu nous chercher à l'arrivée du bateau pour nous accompagner jusqu'au AirBnb. Le logement est conforme à la description, il était parfait pour notre séjour et très bien aménagé ! Situé dans un quartier calme mais très facile d'accéder aux quartiers plus animés de Venise ! Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir encore merci ! ☀️☀️🚣‍♂️

Paolo was truly one of the best hosts I have ever experienced. He was very good at providing recommendations and help with transport to get around the city. Extremely responsive on chat with our late arrival. Check in was very easy and instructions were very clear. The location and apartment is perfect, about 15 mins walk to Rialto bridge and close to transport to the airport (5 min walk to water boat). The interior is very beautiful and it has air conditioning. We were incredibly happy with the stay and would recommend highly to anyone coming to Venice!

Agnese's & Raoul's apartment is fantastic. We were personally received with a quick tour of the flat. Everything is very nicely appointed and kept super clean. The apartment has windows towards the garden and great light, unfortunately no balcony... that would make it a complete dream. But the rooms and furniture are perfect Airbnb, probably one of the best places we stayed at. I am sure we will return, I can highly recommend the hosts and place! Thank you!

Parfait appartement et quartier pour profiter de Venise comme ses habitants. C’est tout ce fait immersif et c’est bien équipé. Je recommande sans hésiter pour un long week-end et des matins au son des oiseaux !

El aparatamento es tal cual la descripción. Está ubicado a 15 min caminando de la plaza de St. marco. El departamento está impecable y muy cómodo, cerca de vía Garibaldi, donde hay restaurantes y es agradable pasear. No hay tantos turistas, detalle que nosotros agradecimos, el ambiente es más local. Nos sentimos muy seguros en toda nuestra estancia y con muy buena comunicación con Silvia. Súper agradable! Regresamos a Venecia y seguro a este apartamento!

The beautiful Venice apartment is set amidst a quiet neighborhood as well as a local park that provides easy access to Venice’s busses (Vaporetto). If you’d prefer a stroll along a the shore, you can get to St. Mark’s square in 20 minutes. We were treated to flowering Jasmine as we strolled 🌸 Silvia was highly responsive and met us at the apartment to go over details which was highly appreciated. A short 5 minute walk lands you on this neighborhood’s local area which hosts additional restaurants and stores. We were tired one day so we ordered takeaway pizza from Nevodi’s. Overall this is a peaceful apartment away from the crowds of Venice which also allows you to get to the heart of Venice easily. I would highly recommend this location based on it’s unique mix of offerings. Ciao!
