Highly recommend staying at The Martinsburg! Clemens & Audrey are fantastic hosts who are so accommodating and friendly. The homes at The Martinsburg are the coolest tiny homes that felt secure, private, and cozy. Clemens & Audrey fill the home with thoughtful details, with everything you could need, down to dog bowls and dog treats if you indicate that you'll be bringing your pets with you. The retreat really immerses you into the charm of Fredericksburg, with local recommendations and even locally-sourced soap used in the home.

Jennifer was extremely accommodating and made the resort welcoming. Pickleball courts were a plus. Approximately 20 min away from downtown Fredericksburg.

I absolutely adored Nicks Place. It was a great stay. We loved that it had the jacuzzi and the cabin felt right at home. The bed was super comfortable. Everything was clean. We enjoyed the bar that it has on the property and they cutsie little sheep. Our host was very responsive and very nice. We will definitely be booking again. It’s the best get away 💛

The place was perfect for a 2-day getaway with my friend for my birthday! The hot tub was a nice addition and easy to use! Very close drive to Augusta Vin Winery (our favorite) and a 8-10 minute drive to downtown Fredericksburg. The host was very kind, checking in daily to make sure we were doing well. I would stay here again.

The house was peaceful and had a lot to offer. We loved hot tub and above ground pool . The fenced in yard with two peach trees and patio were just lovely. We had a well stocked kitchen, bedrooms as well as the rest of the house which made us feel right at home. Lake Buchanan is pretty much a field of stickers due to drought so plan on Inks Lake for your water activities. If you’re looking for a getaway, this is a sweet house. Especially for dog lovers.

Joe was a great host and very quick on responses. The cabin was beautiful and was as described in the pictures. My wife and I enjoyed our 1 night away from the city. The jacuzzi was amazing to the tranquil setting of the outside patio which we found peaceful. We hope to be back again.

My wife and I booked a last minute trip Fredericksburg, and our usual spot was already taken — but we’re so glad it was, because this place was an awesome find. The cabin has a rustic feel with tons of character. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. It’s located in a quiet, rural area — the perfect escape from city life. We loved watching the sunset over the hills from the porch. The hot tub and fire pit were great for relaxing in the evening, and the stars at night were incredible — way more than we’re used to seeing. The home is tucked away, with an easy 10 min drive to downtown Fredericksburg, all the local wineries, and grocery store. Sha was a great host — super easy to communicate with and made sure everything was taken care of from start to finish. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

It was cozy off the grid we never got the tv to work but who cares. The games were fun and it was in the sticks. There were 2 of us an only one wash rag a one hand towel a there was to bath towels. You need to tell people to bring there own water cysteine water is not drinking water ok to bath an brush teeth. Had a great 2 night stay. I did not go hiking account of to much cactus about. Wife said a little to far off the grid for her. Took me a little while to work out the lights and never got the front yard to turn off. Enjoyed it all thanks.

John and Suzanne, Thank you so much for the lovely stay at your 2 bedroom cabin. It was absolutely perfect for our quiet weekend away. We especially appreciated how close it was to Perdenales Falls State Park and that you allow pets – that was a big bonus for us! A very special place surrounded by nature. D'Junna went out of her way to make sure we had all we needed. She was kind enough to offer us some delicious Louisiana style crawfish! We recommend our experience at the Cajun Cabin to anyone ready to unwind in such serene settings.

This small rental is just for the person that is looking for a quiet, restful retreat. It had a very inviting patio on the back an old simple front entry, you couldn't help but want to stay longer. The bed was very comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was great! This place was very easy to get anywhere you needed to get. I would definitely stay there again.

Had a nice stay at this remote Texas home. It was clear the host put time and attention into ensuring the interior had amenities, decor, and cleanliness which made for a wonderful stay.

Great get away ! If you are looking for a private and peaceful place to stay, this is it ! Not just that but Cathy and Tim were very helpful and very fast to solve anything we were wondering about. Kids had a blast at the pool and not to mention looking at goats & deers running around the property. This place felt so welcoming we didn’t want to leave. Definitely going back soon ! Spent mid-week through weekend at the cabin. I enjoyed the quite and privacy. Abigail was quick to respond and gave several recommendations on things to do and places to see/ or eat at. Highly recommend and will definitely look to book here again in the future.

The house is very spacious. The lake is low but you walk down the stairs to the water. The house was very well stocked and the air conditioner works great. A 20 minute drive to Burnet. Plenty of dining establishments, antique shops and HEB for groceries. Overall we had a great stay and if you like the water, this is a good place to vacation. I do recommend taking the Vanishing Texas River Cruise. The guide is very knowledgeable on the area.

We absolutely loved our stay. It was a little slice of heaven being surrounded by the beauty of nature and the sweet deer. The place was just so cute and we would love to stay here again someday.

Such a welcoming little house! Jen and Cody's place is a restored bunkhouse on their large Llano ranch, far enough away from the main house to be private but also close enough to have been able to enjoy an evening chat with them as we took a walk. The separate bedrooms have a queen bed and a queen murphy bed respectively and a beautifully retored bathroom between them. Everything is new and attractive. The kitchen has all your needs and plenty of utensils, dishware and cooking accessories. It's outside of town and quiet, so make yourself ready for relaxation.

If you want a quiet and quant place close to Fredericksburg, but far enough away to have peace this is that place. A 15 minute drive from at least 6 wineries, and at least 30 from the main thoroughfare, this little home away from home gives you all you could need to relax. The hosts were very responsive and even offered their home due to inclement weather that threatened power outages in the area. We will be staying again when we return to the Fredericksburg area.

Our family loved our stay at Rachel and Matt’s river house! We brought our four kids with us — ages 12, 10, 2, and almost 1 — and all of them loved it! The house is very baby and toddler friendly (they had a travel crib for the baby and a small futon for our toddler to sleep on, as well as games and books for little ones). Our older kids loved fishing and swimming in the river and playing board games! The house was extremely clean, and the kitchen was well-outfitted so we had no trouble cooking on the nights we didn’t go out. A great experience!

Staying in this converted school bus was such a unique and memorable experience! The setting is absolutely gorgeous, and the vibe is fun, quirky, and full of heart. The passionate hosts have filled the space with creative touches—games, scavenger hunts, and surprises that make exploring the land a joy. It’s a little rustic but still super cozy and comfortable. The animals (goats! chickens! bunnies!) add so much charm, and you really do leave with a new perspective on nature and simple living. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unplug and experience something truly special!

I really enjoyed my stay!! the bath was a perfect place to relax after a week of hiking!! The host even provided a bath bomb and bath salts!! Overall a great experience and I loved waking up and seeing the cows!!
