Holiday rentals with lake access in Carroll County

Great spacious house for our family of 12. Amazing open kitchen and living area. The scenery was spectacular. We did a lot of meals at the house, and loved having a table big enough for all of us. We would book again for sure.

Wonderful stay at this location! There was much more room and beds than I anticipated . The location was stunning and the hosts were very responsive. I will definitely book here again.

We booked this location as a place to host guest who were visiting our company. The house was beautiful. Right on the water with access if you wanted to use it. Hot tub for relaxing. The host is extremely responsive and checked in multiple times throughout the trip. I drive to it is beautiful but it is a little rough as it is a single one lane down hill road but any vehicle to make it down to it easily. They were able to accommodate a slightly early check in without any additional fees and were amazing to work with 10/10 would recommend and would use again.

We spent 4 nights at The Anchor with 4 adults and 2 children on the floor level. All of the rooms were very clean and spacious. We had everything we needed to cook and grill with. The balcony views were beautiful and we enjoyed our time here.

House was beautiful, and huge! Gorgeous location and we saw lots of wildlife, deer visiting the house daily. Very close to Eureka Springs, Holiday Island grocery store and Dollar General. With 4 old ladies, those things are important to us :-) Kelley was a very engaged hostess and quick to respond. Will definitely be staying again in the future.

The house is beautiful and spacious. I loved that everyone in my family had something to do. They have family friendly games as well as activities for my toddlers to do in an activity drawer. While sitting on the back porch we saw 3 deer come right below us nightly. The water is less than 5 minutes away and you can see the water from the front of the house. The fully stocked kitchen utensils were a huge bonus for our family who likes to cook. Very short drive from downtown Eureka Springs. The hosts were very friendly when we had questions. Overall great stay and we plan on coming back and recommending them to anyone looking for a place to stay.

You’re at least 20 minutes from town so either go to Hart’s grocery before or pack your own groceries ahead of time. We did find the neighborhood shop very convenient and stocked with essentials or last minute items you might have forgotten- just no meat. It had a great view and was fun to stop and eat some ice cream after a day of hiking/sightseeing. Joni was very responsive.

I definitely recommend staying at this property. The house is right on the lake with a beach that is fantastic for the kids to play at and kayak from. We loved having coffee each morning on the lakeside deck and the firepit was perfect for s'mores in the evening. The house was extremely clean and had everything we needed including plenty of space. This spot is perfect for families. We will book here again.

Absolutely amazing trip back to this location! We really liked that noone lives on the property! There is another rental but still very very private .Enjoyed cooking pancakes on the Griddle outside overlooking the mountains. Lake is super close down the road ! we used the kayaks provided by her to use down at the lake access. The Jacuzzi was a Dream and super relaxing! Landscaping is well kept by grounds crews and multiple other work crews. Enjoyed a campfire at sunset overlooking the mountains. We will definitely be back to the retreat!

What an amazing stay! We stayed at just the right time to enjoy the beautiful fall colors, sitting on the deck. We even had a couple of deer come close to the deck! The apartment is beautifully finished and extremely clean! Great amenities available. The views are beautiful. The host was super! They reached out to ensure we had everything we needed and very clear instructions on getting in and amenities available.

Val and Boyd were so sweet and helpful! The water was high but they communicated before we came as well as during our stay. The cabin was right on the water and super easy to jump on our kayaks. We got much needed rest. It was clean and so cute. It is also just a short drive into Eureka for shopping. We added a night onto our stay and Val was super quick to help with that! We already can’t wait to come back!

Wow is simply an understatement! The house and property were beautiful! We saw deer eating in the yard, a turtle, groundhog, a million frogs, and bats at night. It was in the woods and crazy close to all of the fun of downtown! We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway or a better hostess!

A beautiful home on the river. This was a perfect retreat for my family while we explored Eureka Springs. The home is beautiful and we loved spending our mornings on the deck overlooking the water. Quiet neighborhood and felt extremely safe.

Cottage was clean and well stocked. Close to Eureka Springs & Holiday Island. Beautiful setting near Little Golden Gate Bridge with the lake. Opportunity to go kayaking or hiking. Would have been peaceful if it wasn't for the Biker Rally in area during the weekend. But we still enjoyed our time very much.
