We ran into an issue with our original booking in August due to a medical emergency within my family and after a few back and forth with Irit and Airbnb, we ended up rebooking for later in the year in December. The place we rented was great. It was super close to the beach and within walking distance of a bunch of stores and shops. We stayed there for a week. The pool & gym equipment of the hotel was a nice perk to use and everything you needed was there. The only thing we were a little caught off guard by was the resort fee but overall the stay was great and it was a great escape.

We enjoyed this (very) spacious two bedroom! Check in was very easy at the resort; the villa had everything we needed and was close to the hot tub and pools. Selena was very responsive when we had a few questions arriving and departing. Highly recommend!

Our stay was fantastic. Selena was great with communication and check in was a breeze. Selena’s place is in the Omni La Costa Resort and the amenities are great! We enjoyed the restaurants, pools, and hot tubs (having one immediately outside our room was amazing)! We never made it to golf or the spa but both are on the resort and looked fabulous. The resort is a perfect home base for any southern California location. I cannot recommend Selena’s place enough!

Entire Condominium (condo) Coronado Beach Resort

We had a great stay at Fobb’s condo in Coronado. We were a family of 4 and had plenty of room (2 teens on the pull out sofa) with lots of closet space for luggage. The bed was very comfortable. The front desk staff was extremely helpful - big shout out to Maeve for her assistance with some logistics. When we arrived, we were greeted with a card and bottle of wine from the owner. The condo was as advertised - very clean, good sized fridge, working dishwasher, washer and dryer down the hall, etc. The 3rd floor location was great - a short walk to the roof top hot tub with views of the Hotel Del Coronado. There are free beach cruiser bicycles to check out and beach lounge chairs for the quick walk to the water. We had room in our luggage, so we brought our own helmets - but there are helmets you can check out. The main street , Orange Ave, can get busy, but the island is generally a safe place to ride - and there is a long, flat bike path running from the village to Imperial Beach. The windows of the condo overlook Orange Ave which might bother some - but the windows close and the air conditioning works if some mild car noise bothers you. You can fall asleep looking at the Hotel Del’s beautiful cupolas. Location is great - can walk to the grocery store and all of the village restaurants. We had a rental car and very much appreciated the parking spot since island parking can be difficult to find. So much to do in San Diego and this was a great home base for exploration!
