The venue is stunning, the photos do not do it justice! Everyone has everything the need in each room with their own en suite and the grandness of the building is something else! You have so much space, the large garden area wraps around back and side and is beautiful with stunning views! Everything you could need in the kitchen and welcome bottle very kindly provided by our hosts! Plenty of entertainment and eating areas! When leaving one of our cars broke down and they were very understanding and accommodating! Perfect location, made our stay extra special!

A Perfect Getaway! I stayed at this charming cottage and couldn’t be more pleased. The place was spotless, cozy, and beautifully decorated. Every little detail was thoughtfully arranged, from the well-equipped kitchen to the comfy beds. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and responsive, making the entire experience seamless. I highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing retreat — I’ll definitely be coming.

What a fantastic property and garden in such a quiet, lovely neighbourhood yet only 5 minutes’ walk to Bowness on Windermere shops and eating places, a few minutes further walk takes you to the lake and ferry terminal. The property was warm and homely, yet everything was pristine, all the rooms were immaculate, the kitchen was a pleasure to cook in, with plenty of utensils and cooking equipment, spotlessly clean. The ensuite bedrooms were beautiful as were the bathrooms. It has a huge driveway and great enclosed back garden with firepit and Weber BBQ, lots of seating, pity we were not able to take advantage of this due to the weather. The garden was very safe and enclosed for our dogs. We were able to adjust the heating temperature to suit, we really appreciated. Otto was fantastic and responded immediately to any queries before and during our holiday, as well as being pro-active from booking and throughout our week’s holiday. Thanks to the housekeeper who is doing a wonderful job.

Went to a friend's wedding at Kinmont House and Haylie's property is super nearby and perfect for catching up with other wedding guests. I was designated driver and it was close enough for me to easily do a couple of runs saving us any hassle with taxis. It's a spacious property with board games and a large kitchen - great for a bigger group. Plus there were two irons and a handheld steamer - so everyone was able to arrive at the wedding crease-free! The views from the front-facing rooms are just lovely and I would definitely consider going back to explore the local area.

A lovely, very well equipped house with a very nice view of the surroundings. The owners live next door and instructions make sense when you arrive. the house is called Hadrians View. freshly made scones with cream and jam waiting for us in the fridge and a bottle of wine. Very kind and very much appreciated. Would live to come back here in the future.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay. Mark the host gave us super easy and clear instructions to get to, and get in the caravan which made things super easy. The caravan is absolutely stunning, so clean inside with absolutely everything you need, from plates, cleaning products, even a slow cooker and dishwasher. Everything was left for our one year old including a cot and blankets, and they even had bubbles, loads of games and books for all ages. The WiFi worked really well and honestly we couldn’t fault it. The site was lovely, although there wasn’t loads to do for the kids, they made use of the golf, football pitches and pool. The entertainment was decent and we even won £500 at bingo! Thanks for a lovely stay!

This lodge was beautiful with amazing views over Lake Windermere from both the deck and the living room. The weather was a mix, but honestly, it was stunning whether it was raining or sunny, though the sunshine definitely made it even more magical. The lodge itself was spotless and had everything we needed, making it feel super cozy and like a home away from home. White Cross Bay Holiday Park was a great spot, really peaceful and in a perfect location for exploring, whether on foot or by car. We’ll definitely be back for another stay!

We stayed at Simon and Belinda's place for a week and it was exactly what we needed. Fantastic location for walks and food. The Wainwright's Inn is only 0.2 miles away. Great food and local ales on your doorstep. The cottage is cosy, the kitchen is well equipped and the information provided was very thorough and useful. There are some books in the house they have prepared to show various walks and local recommendations. We did some of these walks and our 5 year old enjoyed every second! We took advantage of the leisure facilities at The Langdale. This was a great addition to the cottage! Really recommend if you want a place near to town locations, walks and local pubs/cafés/restaurants.

Such great value for money! This is EXACTLY what we needed. We were looking at booking a house, but stumbled across this accommodation. It was a great location for what we needed on the way up to Scotland. The caravan was so homely and clean - it had everything we needed. The site had much to offer with the parks, bar and restaurant etc - we didn’t get chance to utilise them all as our stay was only 2 nights. We will definitely stay again and recommend to family members who also visit Scotland from the U.K. Thank you!

Really enjoyed our stay, we were celebrating my Mother’s 90th birthday and had other family members staying in other lodges around the park. Beautiful scenery and great location. We’ll definitely be visiting again.

One of our favourite ever Airbnb’s! Just the perfect peaceful spot in the quintessential English countryside. The place was brilliantly kitted with so many smaller things you end up needing without realizing it. The full length mirror is always appreciated. Fantastic large smart TV with easy login to any streaming service. The “Herdy” theme for the kitchen was really a nice touch. Great big fridge and freezer. Super comfy bed. Nice big couch to relax after a long day of exploring. Alun was a fantastic host. We will definitely be back!

House was as described, beautiful setting with wonderful views of the hills and mountains. Rooms are spacious with comfy beds and bathrooms are nicely finished with good showers. Kitchen is a good size and has all required implements. A great location for exploring the central lakes and soaking up all that Ambleside has to offer.

Lovely couple of days at Lilia’s place. Cottage was pristine with a minimalist modern decor. It had everything we needed for two days rest. Lilia provided detailed instructions on how to get to the property and information about local amenities. The local village is a beautiful quaint place.

What can I say 100% happy that I found this beautiful cottage with lots of extras (thank yous so much Jo and Tony for making my birthday very special) beautiful host and very informative. Dinmont Cottage is one of the best places we have EVER stayed in and believe me we have stayed in a few! gorgeous decor and amenities and you can tell they have put their heart and soul into it 1000% we will be back our dogs loved it too ❤️ 😍🥰 thankyou 1000 times over isn't enough to say how much we loved our stay and everything ❤️ 😊 xxxxxx Mel, Paul, Holly and Elsa (the dogs)🐕🦮 see yous very soon we can't wait to come back.

We stayed here as a group of 4 Adults and 2 dogs for two nights to break up our trip to Scotland. We were all very impressed with the cleanliness and modern feel of the property. There was ample free parking for our two cars. Despite no enclosed area for our dogs the outside space was perfectly satisfactory for when we needed to let our 2 dogs out to toilet. We were particularly impressed with the WiFi, the Air Fryer & the two free-standing fans (we stayed during an unusually warm period for the UK)! All of the properties facilities were actually of a high standard. It’s worth knowing that: A local taxi to the bustling town centre cost only £6-8 The two supermarkets (Aldi and Morrisons) are both within a short walk as is a Ballantynes Gym and Spa (wish I’d known beforehand as I would have brought suitable gym attire lol) There is also a Green King Pub only a 5 min walk away. We will certainly look to stay here again if we are in the area.

We had a great stay at this property! The house was exactly as described—clean, well-maintained, and located in a peaceful estate.
