Bungalow holiday rentals in Carbis Bay

Great house and probably the best we’ve stayed in Cornwall. About a 15 minute walk from a beautiful beach through the sand dunes, which our dog loved. The kitchen is the best equipped we’ve come across in an Airbnb. We cooked a few times during the stay and to our surprise it had all the random things we needed. The property is on a very quiet street and felt very private tucked away at the end of a cul-de-sac and next to the entrance where you go through to the beach. We were unfamiliar with Gwithian/Hayle but we’d definitely stay again, it felt so peaceful but also very easy to get to St Ives. M&S was within a few minutes drive too so handy to get a shop in. Thanks Rebecca for the lovely stay, we’re already thinking about another visit!

Wonderful location close to the beach, dunes and beautiful coastal paths. The bungalow is a lovely, clean, comfortable, quiet space with all the basics and a little more besides. A place you look forward to returning to at the end of a day out. Highly recommended.

Location, location, location Great little find this 2 bedroom bungalow on the beach at Perranporth 👌 Had all we needed in the home making it home from home 2 Great little gardens to chill in and enjoy the sun. Close to town , pubs, shops and restaurants

Perfect spot for a family holiday. Great layout with an excellent view. My favourite cottages were always quick to respond and helpful. The early check in was a real bonus as we had small children who needed feeding!

Had a perfect stay here in Praa Sands, it was the ideal family/doggy holiday. Easy communication and everything was as described. We will definitely be back in the future!

Another wonderful stay at No. 1 Penventon. Everything has been very easy from start to finish. Mary is very quick to respond to questions and I find that very reassuring. No. 1 is spacious, comfortable and really well organised - ideal for a beach holiday. Everything you need, including beautiful pristine beaches and cliff top walks, e.g. a local shop, pub, cafe and beach shops are 2-5 mins walk away. Close enough for convenience and far enough away to ensure peace and quiet. This is my second stay and I hope there will be more in future!

What a great place to stay! The property was just as described, really comfortable and really well equipped. A beautiful well-kept garden with plenty of garden furniture, a washing line and a barbecue. It's only a 10 minute walk to a convenience store and a 15 minute walk to a supermarket and Newquay. Newquay is lovely, with plenty of cafes, restaurants and cool shops. In the other direction it's a 15 minute walk to Fistral beach which is fantastic and also has a selection of restaurants and shops. The owners were really helpful and responded straight away to any queries we had. Oh, and they left us a lovely welcoming gift of wine, tea, coffee and fudge!

The Studio was beyond expectations, I am loathe to say more as you will all want to stay and I wont be able to get a look in! The view across the estuary in the mornings, evenings, gorgeous.

What a find! Karen’s place was just the best! Everything was so clean and tidy, and the space inside and out is really well thought out . Didn’t really know what to expect, so took essentials, i.e. tea, sugar, milk, but that was already catered for. Little touches like a dogs water bowl out and full, which our dog fully appreciated after the long drive, and another dog bowl with fork included for your dogs dinner, Poo bags and treats to boot. Lovely welcome basket with some goodies for the humans too, which were greatly appreciated! The beds are possibly the most comfortable we have ever slept in, so that in itself was priceless! Just a 5 minute stroll down to the beach with a lovely pub enroute which serves food, and at the bottom of the hill is the beach bar, which also does food. All in all, cracking location and a gorgeous home. Thank you so much Karen! xx

We had the best time staying at the Escape. Just a short walk downhill to the most beautiful beach and easy to drive to Lands end, Penzance and St Ives. The accommodation was as described and we felt at home straight away. Seb was great at communicating and sent clear instructions and information before we arrived making it really easy to find and get in after a long drive down. We will be visiting again for sure!

A wonderful location with parking space and plenty of free road parking which is great for padstow. A beautifully decorated home with exactly what you need. Beautiful views over the estuary. Richard was very helpful and attentive. Will definitely stay again!

Great little cottage set in a nice family resort. Lucy was particularly helpful with the flexible checkout and also provided us with free guest passes for the fun activities at the park. Couldnt recommend enough. Great host and fabulous space! Would highly recommend!!!

Lovely place with beautiful views- maybe not the best with small baby and little toddler that had to be carried up and down the steep outside stairs….Once inside, everything was great and it was amazing how many children’s utensils were available!

St. Michael's is a characterful place with everything you need for a good break. We stayed for 2weeks, walking coastal routes and into Newquay and of course Fistral Beach, including Rick Stein's restaurant. If you don't like walking, there are plenty of parking and the bus routes are very good. Tracey & Matt were great hosts, very helpful and happy to help. Parking @ St. Michael's is straight forward and off the road, easy to empty when you arrive and fill when you leave. Honestly you will be sad to leave!

This was a very comfortable and well equipped house, with stunning views. It was extremely easy to walk into the centre of the village and a great base to explore from. Zoe was a very helpful and responsive host, and we would definitely want to stay there again if we go back to Mousehole.
