Holiday rentals with beach access in Carbis Bay

Our second stay at Geeta’s apartment - location is perfect (so close to the harbour and no hills or steps to walk up from the town) for us with our two young children. The space is spotlessly clean and well equipped. Geeta was a great host with excellent communication. We will be back next year!

We had a fantastic stay at Sea Salt this week. A beautiful apartment in a great location, perfect for couples. So clean and comfortable. Anna’s instructions and restaurant recommendation were fantastic. Would love to visit again in the future.

Julie is a wonderful host and a very kind human being. Her apartment shows how considerate she is. We found everything needed in the flat. Flat is very clean, tidy, good linens, balcony view with sound of the waves is outstanding. Bed is good for sleeping. Comfy sofa and other electric machines are fine. We cooked meals happily. Bathroom is nice and clean. Close to town centre and other beaches. Rooftop is nice. We stayed here for seven days. She even arranged for late check-in to help us to relax before catching our flight home. This holiday experience is so great!! We hope to visit again In sha Allah. Thank you Julie. We had the most amazing weather for our stay. Two of us shared the apartment. We discovered various steps to take us to town. The cab to the flat from the station was only £6 and well worth it on the way up! We really enjoyed The Sloop Inn and a restaurant called Silko on the quay St Ives. The best coffee by far was Mount Zion. The flat was really quiet and the beds comfortable. The Spa was really great and the views from the Spa Hotel were great. Lunch there was v tasty and the staff were sympathetic.

An extremely enjoyable weeks holiday helped massively by extremely good weather. The property's location was ideal for our purpose as we were able to walk to the town and avoid using the car. On arrival we received a friendly welcome from Vanessa which extended to practical help as the car was slightly too long for the parking space available. Vanessa immediately made alternative parking arrangements just a few minutes walk away which we were able to use throughout the holiday. We would certainly have extended our stay if we were in a position to do so.

Great little studio with parking space. Easy to access. Spotlessly clean and has everything to make a comfortable stay. Lots of little extras including a chilled bottle of Prosecco were a lovely touch. A 20 minute walk downhill to the harbour, takes a bit longer back uphill. Many thanks to our friendly hosts..thoroughly enjoyed a beautiful week in sunny Cornwall.

The flat was small but perfectly formed and in a great location. Phil was flexible with us about check in and very helpful - we had a lovely time

A private apartment attached to a pub, we could come & go with no fuss. Very comfortable and host very generous with breakfast options provided. Bathroom & shower very small, wouldn’t work for a large person. Overall a really good find for exploring St Ives. Thanks Joe.

Excellent location and a tranquil setting. Property was excatly as described and the views were stunning. Easy walk down to Porthminster beach and into St Ives. Highly recommended and we would stay here again without hesitation.

We borrowed buckets and spades (and trucks and diggers) from the collection in the shed and took the short walk down to the lovely sandy beach most days. My granddaughter had heaps of fun playing in the shallow pools and golden sand in the sun. There were bodyboards too, but she's a little little for that just yet. Nanny was usually to be found observing us from the comfort of the Cove Cafe and admiring the wonderful vista - St Ives Bay in the sunshine (which is also the view from the house itself). The bravest of us swam in the chilly sea and returned invigorated, eyes sparkling. Suki charged about with energy and enthusiasm, greeting every other dog on the beach. We highly recommend this place. Notes: It's a flat beach, so the sea is very close a high tide and a long way off at low tide. Eating out in Cornwall is expensive. The house has a well-equipped kitchen and there is a Lidl and M&S Food Hall nearby if you are minded to eat in. The train St Erth<->St Ives is a nice option.

Lovely stay at Ems place. Ideal location to get to different areas of Cornwall and a 5 min walk from the shops. Really lovely views, a real treat to be able to look at the sea and at Michael’s mount when having breakfast. Very clean and great amenities. Em herself was very responsive, very friendly and super helpful. Great for the dogs too. Thanks!

Fabulous roomy but warm and homely house, very well equipped. Quality appliances, everything in excellent condition and plenty of kitchen crockery etc. Great location providing easy access to Carbis bay beach ( be prepared for the somewhat steep uphill on the way back) and coastal path walk to beautiful St Ives. Orange Roofs provided an abundance of pre holiday information, places to visit/eat, so we were prepared with ideas. Had a fabulous holiday, thank you Orange Roofs. Highly recommend Porthia, Carbis Bay (and St Ives!)

Lovely place to stay. Exceptional clean , felt very welcoming and homely. Great that we could park car up for a few days and just walk around . Easy to walk-into st ives. Would be happy to stay here again. Great Paul & Trish

A historic stone row home, with a light filled living room addition, and private and sunny outdoor area. Steep walk down to the last unit, which is slippery when wet. There is a leafy wooded pathway down to the Petersville Inn, with another spur towards the beach which accesses a cliff trail.

We were a family of 3 with a small dog. Plenty of garden to play in and was fully secure. Location was brilliant, we caught the train to most beaches which are all less than 11 minutes away.

An amazing find with a beautiful view of the sea, even from bed! Was super relaxing waking up with that view! We did wear sleep masks as it can get super bright but worth it for the views 🥰🥰 Everything we needed was available, and although no garden for doggos, there is plenty of areas for them to go out along the road, and near coastal path! Bed was SUPER comfy and the shower was amazing! Melinda was super helpful if we had a question and was so kind!

The location is perfect. Train and busstation are in walking distance. The apartment and views are absolutely beautiful, you definitely pay for this though, personally I found it quite a bit pricey but it was worth it.

We have just spent a wonderful few days at Andy and Philippa’s apartment in St Ives. It is seconds from Porthmeor beach at the island end, around 7 minutes from the town. The apartment is beautifully and thoughtfully decorated with every mod con you could want for your stay. The apartment was immaculately clean and communication was always super quick and easy. Andy and Philippa went above and beyond to make our stay just perfect, thank you so much!

Just arrived back from a short stay in Mitch’s place . Great location , close to all amenities , restaurants , bars , lido etc . In fact your right in the middle of town but doesn’t feel like it as the place is so quiet and peaceful. Place was spotlessly clean . Outside area was a bonus for sitting out reading on sunny days ! Mitch is the perfect host , friendly and very responsive . Met us on arrival showing us where to park the car , where we left it for the duration of the time we were there , as every thing is within walking distance ! Would definitely visit again ! Thankyou for your hospitality Mitch ! Love your garden !

The apartment suited us perfectly. It was walkable to some shops and eateries in Hayle, and also a good location to visit other places in Cornwall like St Ives. We had a great stay and would come back.

A really special time in beautiful St Ives. The apartment is perfectly located, just minutes from the harbour and the beach with the most spectacular views, the photos don’t do justice. A minor issue was resolved immediately by Jon (thank you). We were glad of the parking, although you need to be confident at reverse parking, the space is tight but manageable for a small car (mine was slightly bigger than the owners). We would also recommend St Ives Pottery for a fantastic pottery throwing experience and Tiger Lilly boats for mackerel fishing. We would love to come back.

So nice to arrive after a long journey to find the water hot with excellent shower facilities, a welcoming comfortable bed with good quality bedding. We were told it was dog friendly, so we were appreciative to find bowls, towel etc., should you forget. The location was ideal for exploring the North Coast and we made full use of our NT membership. Wonderful dog friendly beaches and eating establishments very accomodating. we particularly enjoyed Godrevy and Holywell Coves. ''Tap House'' in St Agnes is a must , great food reasonably priced , but make sure you book and allow time for parking.

Mariners Watch was in a perfect location for our visit to the Minack and Porthcurno cove. Enjoyable visit to St Michaels Mount. Mel was easy to communicate with. Welcoming touches of wine and beer awaiting us. An american style fridge proved very useful as nearest supermarkets are 30 minutes drive in Penzance. There is a small shop/post office in St Buryan.

Lovely relaxing break It’s difficult to add anything new to the already fabulous reviews. Beth and Mark made our stay exceptional, their warmth, knowledge and hospitality were in a class of their own. The apartment is just gorgeous, situated in a picturesque spot, overlooking the beach, with beautiful gardens and plants. It is stylish, fresh, clean, comfortable and very homely and they have thought of everything, we really didn’t want for anything. We really hope to have the opportunity to visit and stay again. Thank you. Forgot to say it was my wife’s big birthday and she loved it, so thank you, I’m in the good books again. Best AirBnB I’ve ever stayed in.
