Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Cape Fear River

Absolutely amazing home! The host is super responsive and answered all my questions within seconds! Quiet and peaceful street just a few short steps from the lake. They leave everything you could ever need for you to use. I told them I was bringing my toddler and they had the pack and play all set up in the room for us to use, they certainly go the extra mile. The backyard is a relaxing oasis. We will definitely be back!

My family and I had a great three night stay. We’ve always wanted to stay right on the ocean and it was so worth it. The house is spacious but still cozy. We travelled with our 8 month old and used the high chair and baby gate. We loved watching the sun come up over the ocean each morning. Emily was communicative and friendly. Would definitely return!

This was such a nice home! Very quiet and peaceful. We loved the putting green and the huge back yard. It was perfect for a family or anyone wanting to get away.

We just spent a week here for an extended family vacation, and what a wonderful trip! The property is on a quiet part of the Lake of Marion and about 15-20 minutes from most restaurants or stores. The pool and the screened-in porch area were our favorites and where we spent most of the week. My kids loved kayaking and fishing off the dock in the mornings before jumping into the pool to spend most of the day. I would definitely advise going grocery shopping and planning a lot of your meals at the house. As mentioned, it’s pretty isolated, and a lot of the places close have limited hours. For food options, I would suggest Fayz on the Lake, Summerton Diner, D&H BBQ, and Thommy Mac’s. The house was wonderful and easily enough room for nine people. Stuart was a great host and provided everything we needed and gave us good local recommendations

We absolutely loved our stay here! This cozy home was the perfect spot for us before our big move out of town. It’s beautifully maintained, peaceful, and just steps away from our family, which made everything even more special. The space felt like a true home away from home, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. This will definitely be our go-to spot anytime we’re back in town visiting. Highly recommend to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a warm atmosphere!

Jessica and Justin responded back very quickly when we had questions or trouble. The place felt like home to my family and I. The pool was amazing my kids loved it. Kitchen items were easily to access when cooking as well

The home was in a great location, just a short walk to the beach access. It was well-stocked with plenty of beach supplies, which our group of 8 really appreciated. Having an EV charger available was also a huge plus. The house had everything we needed and more for a comfortable stay. Brian was very responsive and provided helpful information ahead of our trip.

We had a great stay (January-February)! The plan to escape a month of new England winter was made more enjoyable with the stay at this condo. We had great space to set up ‘work from home’, cozy area to catch up on Netflix and do a puzzle; and a roomy deck with a relaxing view for morning coffee and afternoon sun! We also loved the access to stores but especially to the the beach. We did not need to contact our host for any issues but trust he’d be responsive if needed.

We loved our stay! The house was exactly as described, very clean and felt like home. The refrigerator was not cooling when we got there after few hours. Erica went above and beyond to accommodate, providing a way to keep our food cold, provided ice as needed before the brand new refrigerator was delivered. I highly recommend this house and can’t say enough about Erica, she was VERY responsive and a pleasure to deal with. Will definitely be coming to stay again😊

This was a great place to stay for a long beach weekend. Accessing the beach and pools was so easy. The beach location is amazing for kids. Comfortable place with all the amenities.

Great place to take a family. Shuttle runs hourly to take you to the beach. The resort staff are friendly have lots of activities. The beach is beautiful and not over crowded.

I was down just to get my daughter from college for the summer, and this place was great. Lots of activities and restaurants within walking distance. The weather did not cooperate with us so we did not get to experience the pools but would definitely like to try again when we bring her back in August. Everything was clean in the house and the beds were comfortable. I loved that there were chairs etc. for the beach and the pin pong table is a nice distraction on rainy days. Overall, a great place to stay.

Another amazing stay at Sandy Nest! This is a clean, comfortable home with plenty of space and all the amenities we could ask for. Our host Colleen could not have been more helpful. She directed us to the best local foodie hotspots and we never felt like we were bothering her with our questions. This is our second stay there and we would not hesitate to come back again! Jim’s place was awesome! We have stayed at several homes in the area over the past few years and his is definitely our most favorite. Perfect getaway for our family. The house had everything we needed and more. Very relaxing atmosphere. Jim was quick to respond to all of our questions and concerns. Can’t wait to get back to Jim’s place ASAP!

Amazing little property, amazing amenities, such a cute designed cabin, and the best this ever a S'mores kit!!! A littlw trouble with the hot tub but hoat were reaponsive to offer a solution! We look forward to staying there again!
