Bungalow holiday rentals in Cape Fear River

For my first time renting an Airbnb it was overall a great experience, and filled with lots of memories because of this place (6 people in total) plenty of room for all of us the kitchen table is big which is really nice and the outdoor deck is what really sold us, enough outside seating as well. The hot tub was great. The neighborhood was very relaxed and quiet.

Great location. Spent most of our time walking back and forth to the beach. Excellent restaurants and hidden gems around the island. The house is just like the photos and description. Very dog friendly area and beach. We can't wait to come back! Thank you for having us!

Our family of 4 loved our stay at the oceanfront bungalow! It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. I loved the modern updates and cute decor :) You can't beat the location and views! Gwynne and her team were super friendly and responsive. 10/10 recommend if you're looking for a place to stay in Oak Island and we will definitely be back one day :)

Delaney’s place will now be out go to place for our yearly trip to Carolina Beach. The place is situated in an adorable beach cottage neighborhood that is walkable to a lot of restaurants, shops, and the beach. The place was perfect for a couple with more than enough space, a really cute layout, and an outdoor patio which made the space feel even larger. Delaney was so great with communicating with us and being so accommodating! Honestly one of the best Airbnb experiences I have ever had! 10/10 experience.

Cute and cozy house very close to the beach. Just far enough away to not be too loud, but a quick walk to spend the day on the beach. Close to tons of other activities.

We had a fantastic stay! The beach was within a 4 minute walk to multiple entrances for the beach, all with stroller wagon access. The space was child friendly and the outdoor shower was extremely convenient for hosing down sandy kids before heading inside. We’d absolutely stay again when in the area.

This was a beautiful place. I loved the handcrafted decor. It felt personal and very much like what I might put together for a beach house of my own. Everything was as described and the location was absolutely unbeatable when it comes to beach access and ease of getting to local grocery stores and restaurants.

This was a perfect retreat for me and my daughters during our visit to Myrtle beach. The house was lovely and welcoming, it was well appointed with everything we needed, was comfortable, quiet and only a 3-5 minute walk to the beach! Anne was very friendly and responsive. I feel grateful for our time here.

Michael was very informative and quick to respond to any questions. It was such a sweet place with a calming presence. We would definitely stay again.

A gem! The location is quiet, but close to everything. Walk or drive to the beach. Highly recommend renting golf cart! The house is adorable and comfortable, and you can tell a lot of love and care went into the home. It was spotless, very clean. The beds and pillows are comfortable. The cowboy pool is perfect and relaxing after a day at the beach. Loved the outdoor shower. I maybe wouldn’t recommend it for families with toddlers (some fragile decor, the the pool isn’t fenced) but perfect for families with kids ages 5+. We come to oak island every year and will be repeat renters! Thank you for making your lovely home available!

We had a fantastic stay! The place was incredibly clean, spacious enough for me and my family, and just a short walk to the convention center and everything else we needed. The location couldn’t have been more convenient. The host was also super flexible and allowed us to check in early, which made our arrival so much smoother. We had zero issues during our stay — everything was exactly as expected, if not better. Highly recommend!

I booked this home for a girls weekend and we fell in love with the place. Our plans included visiting the zoo and the decor in the home was on point! The neighbors were friendly, including Gizmo the cat. Our host was fantastic, gave us lots of ideas for things to do while we were there. 10 out of 10 recommended.

My family and I had a wonderful time staying at AfterDuneDelight! This little beach bungalow has a very welcoming and homey atmosphere. It was very clean and well organized. We loved that the beach was only a short walk away from the house! It also was in the perfect location to drive to other places like Southport or Caswell beach. The host, Courtney, was very kind and responsive in answering any inquiries we had during our stay. Highly recommend spending your Oak Island beach trip at AfterDuneDelight!

Absolutely loved our stay! The home is perfectly located just a short drive from Wrightsville Beach, making it easy to enjoy the sun and surf anytime. Plus, there are some fantastic restaurants within just 5 minutes, so dining out was always convenient and delicious. The house was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great spot near the beach and local dining options!

We had a great stay at this Carolina Beach house! The place was very clean — you could actually smell how fresh it was the moment you walked in. The host was super responsive; we had an issue with the elevator when we arrived, and he answered right away to help us out. The elevator did get stuck a few times throughout our stay, but it was still a big help when carrying bags. You really can’t beat the location — the beach was literally just a 1–2 minute walk around the corner. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing beach trip!
