In the heart of Cantal, near the Dordogne gorges. You will enjoy the many nearby hikes. This old house made of old stones has been perfectly restored to the tastes of the day with care and with quality materials. It is very well equipped. We were a family of five, each able to enjoy their own private room with shower and the large shaded garden. It is a real favorite for us who come from the most beautiful department of France, the 64 (a little Basque-Béarnais chauvinism does not hurt...). Cantal and Salers will never replace Ossau-iraty cheese but you can find some GAEC and farm producers around that will make you discover this good cheese made on site!We recommend this place for nature lovers, those who love good things and outdoor activities. We had a great stay in the Fournil de Lucie and Sam, we will be happy to come back. The hosts are welcoming and very friendly. The house is perfect and warm, we didn't miss anything. If I could, I would even give an extra star for their adorable dog Arya, who is just as welcoming.

Clean and very well maintained accommodation. Pierre has a secondary house next to the building. Very kind and caring, he came to light us and keep the wood-burning boiler regularly. It was very good inside the house: nice when it's cold outside. The house is tastefully decorated. The fireplace / pole was nice too. Children can play independently in the garden: fence / gate, there are farms a few meters away, they can ride bikes in the hamlet (15 inhabitants) safely, they will meet chickens, cows or dogs, there is also a walking path: everything is nearby. Nasbinal is a 10mn drive, we even walked there for the most motivated! I would recommned this property.
